  Hello

  I just updated my iPhone to iOS 9.3.1 5s and I went in my photos to see I now 300 instead of the 1500 + I had and all my photo albums are empty! What happened is anyway I can retrieve them, desperate for them, as they were not all saved on my laptop, all so they may be saved to the iCloud.

  Looks like're missing you a bunch of albums on your phone you need to try to come back. The only way to retrieve data is to restore from a backup that has this info.  I would first backup your phone to iTunes:

  So if you think that you have saved in a backup to iCloud, then restore your last or one of your iCloud backups:

  Given that I upgraded OS2.1 Watch "Photo Album" watch dial does not work (one photo shows but it does not change photos when I up my wrist) and I can not customize the dial of the 'Photo' either. Someone else this experience since the update?

  Try restarting your iPhone and your watch. Turn both devices off first, and then restart your iPhone before restarting your watch:

  -To switch off your watch: press and hold the button side until you see the cursor off the power; slide it to turn off.

  -To reactivate: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.

  You need the app to iPhotos to photo albums. Unfortunately iPhotos was killed in IOS 8. A Google or App Store looking for iPad videos. I found the application below.

  Look at the photo gallery of JAlbum software.  It can handle as much or as little pictures and galleries as you want.  JAlbum takes an entire folder of photos on your hard drive, in fact HTML pages and thumbnail images for you.  A huge time saver with many skins (styles) of your choice.

• I don't see my iphoto events account more in the display of the Photo Album

  My apologies if this question has already been submitted, but I couldn't find an appropriate solution to this day.

  Photo app has properly downloaded all my photos from iPhoto and I can see them in Moments - Photos full discovers.  However, I used to see my old photos in a folder named "iphoto events" using the view of the Albums. This iphoto events simply disappeared - is missing after a software update.  I do not see my old photos (from iPhoto) classified into events more - they are all dispersed by the dates in the full view of Moments.

  I get this "event iphoto folder" for Albums?  Why pictures show all files from iphotos in times of the year but cannot group by events more?

  Really appreciate apple or group of support on this issue.

  You have albums showing? You have the sidebar displayed or hidden? What has changed since the record was there? What software upgrade you did it?

• Cannot delete a photo album of the Ipad 2 that has been created in iphoto

  I can't delete a photo album of the photos on my ipad 2.  The album was created in iphotos on my macbook air and synced from itunes.  All my photos on the macbook were imported to 'photos' and the album I want to remove my ipad does not exist on my macbook, not more.

  What I'm supposed to do is sync my ipad with itunes and delete the album in iphotos.

The photos were initially imported into iPhoto via the camera memory card to JPEG.  Is there a way to fix this?  I take lots of photos for a local spca and this will really slow me down in the decision-making process on the pictures to use.  I'm not a very tech savvy person any help with this is greatly appreciated!

  If you pick a few and twist and turn then back it is this resolved? -If this is the case you can do in large groups for the problem photos

• Migrating from iPhoto to Photos

  I just upgraded to El Capitan and want to start using the Photos, I have followed the procedures to migrate my old iPhoto library Photos with my library of Photos appointed to reside on another internal hard drive.  I tried several times, but shortly after the migration has started I got the message that there insufficient space disc - 10 GIG necessary.  The drive I'm migration towards had 240 available concerts.  I tried to reformat the drive and emptied of all other files so that its complete 250 concerts are available, but the process still hangs on to 8% with the same message - not enough disk space.  Can someone give me an idea as to what is the problem?

  What is the format of the second internal drive where the library s iPhoto stored? How many free space your main internal drive there? What is your iPhoto library

  I had a book (photo album) ready to order, but I was asked repeatedly to change the lay-out of some pages.

  It seems that it is not possible for example to open picture frames. I do it because I put a picture in the background which will then be better visible through the open frames on some pages.

  Are you trying to order a book in iPhoto or Photos for Mac?  I ask, because you send messages in the forum of iPhoto.

  Apple does support is no longer printing of books from iPhoto, from Photos to Mac. So, you will not be able to submit an order for the book in iPhoto.

  Photos for Mac you can not order a blank book with Picture placeholders. But you can simply drop a screenshot of the empty page in the placeholder pictures so there will be something included and the box is not empty.

  iPhoto (the beloved and only) has a great power in its ability to custom folders full of full of albums etc. subfolders directories several levels deep, with photos that can be duplicated in different albums, folder & file size info, etc. Unless this can all be kept in the Photos, there is no point me upgrading until Apple gets serious on the needs of demanding photographers, who want the custom control and want as their stuff protected in their hard drive and not on the cloud. Automatically generated 'events' and 'albums' are things of grandmother-and-the-children, useless for people like me. I need a custom control over making inventories of multiple folder levels based on my own custom categories, categories or undated events Apple thinks we should have. Home, school, family, travel, etc. just does not cut it!

  Someone really aware with this situation can help me get clarity? Promo stuff on pictures Apple responds to virtually none of my questions.

  I would like to begin by asking in the forum of Photos, but until you do, you need to specify your terminology. iPhoto offers events, Albums, and smart Albums for the organization. Thus, by "directories" I can only imagine say you you have files of records nested within other folders? If so, you can do with Photos. There is no need to use the features of cloud Photos. They are not mandatory in any mode.

  Regarding your comment, if you're a serious photographer why you use iPhoto? Make sure you used Apple app for photographers, it was called Aperture. Now for photographers you use applications 3rd party - Lightroom, Capture One etc.

• How to import Photos album of iMovie.

  I used to be able to import a photo album in iMovie. I would like to edit my pictures, put in order in an album and then imported into iMovie. It was working fine! He kept the order too.   Upgrading Yosemite did not affect iPhoto.   iPhoto should work as before, but you must update iPhoto to version 9.6.1, if you have a version of the Mac AppStore that can be updated.

  Or do you go from iPhoto for new Photos for Mac application?

  Photos for Mac also has book templates that contain text on the pages fields. There is more than one text field per page. For each page, where you want to add text, set the page layout for a page layout that contains a text field.

  When the Photos were initially introduced, I didn't know what I would get in when I just clicked "convert to Photos" or whatever the wording was.

  A week in the new application I realized that it wasn't for me (lack of some key tools like iPhoto), so just started using iPhoto again instead

  If you don't use Photos and has no pictures in you need to trash just the photo library - it will not save a lot of space because of the hard links that are used, but if you use any Photos, then there is no reason to keep the library autour and when you are ready to migrate again (you will need since iPhoto is not supported and an upgrade it) break)

• iPhone 5 will not be synchronized photo albums on iMac

  I have the latest version of iTunes, OS X and IOS, although this problem has occurred since a few years/versions of all.  Maybe since I downloaded Photos, iPhoto seemed OK.  When I create a photo album, it usually won't download or if it is downloaded, it will not sync when new photos are added to the album.  I say usually because about 10% of the time it will work.  I tried to reinstall iTune and remove all the photos from my phone, both with limited success only to go back again.  It's so frustrating because I use a digital SLR and do editing in Lightroom and I add products to my iPhone.  Currently, my phone is updated and it hangs on step 5 of 6, import photos.  It will stay like that until I walk away.  Sometimes thought that the library is not available.  All settings or patches would be so popular that I am at a loss and so frustrated...  Thank you in advance!
