  I think I'm able to answer my own question!

  Yesterday, I had used my Tablet docked for much of the day.  When I got home I connected the power supply to the device and the two charge indicators lit.

  (After reading some more about how the use of the battery is divided), I assumed that previously the dock can have been charged while the tablet was not and it of why the charge indicator was lit on the Tablet, but not on the keyboard.

  After upgrading my iMac (retina 5K, 27 inches, end of 2015) to Sierra, answers the dock (which is not responding to any pointer/mouse clicks) after a few minutes of use.

When I enter the tablet on the keyboard dock the tablet can move without moving the hinges. Also when I close the lid (the tablet on the keyboard) I can move to the top of the shelf about 1 cm without moving the hinges.

  I hope someone can tell me it's either works as expected (so I need to decide if I want to live with her) or it is a defective product (then I need to send it back).

  Are you sure that you have correctly mounted the Tablet for the docker keyboard?
  The docker contains a lock (in the middle) which can be unlocked by pressing the button.

  To be honest, I m not satellite not owner of Mini Click but according to different videos HandsOn and reports, must be a stable connection between the Tablet and the keyboard.
  Of course, you can move the tablet a bit back but this shouldn't be a big problem.
