• 2009 mac Pro 8 core graphics upgrade advice

  Hi everyone, my Mac Pro crashed recently and wiped out the SSD drive and 8800gt graphic card in the process. I have since replaced the SSD but you want to replace the graphics card also. Can anyone recommend some links to maps of upgrade appropriate that work with this machine you?

  Take a look at macvidcards, they have a wide variety of graphics cards from amd and nvidia, from low cost to high power.

  In general, every current video card should work in your mac, but the 'pure windows versions' do not show an image until osx is fully charged and drivers are loaded.

  Versions of macvidcard are flashed so can show splash screens. Not normally necessary, but when that mind in the process of starting or when you need bootcamp boot selection screen, you will see the value of the additional monetary you spent for the funniest versions.

• Map Video M8430f upgrade... need advice.

  Hi all! I currently own a m8430f pc that comes with a 8500gt video card. I intend to upgrade to an nvidia 8800 GTS or an ATi HD4850 video card which is quite larger compared to the 8500gt vcard. My only concern is that if he would take on the card mother without hitting the ports of RAM/memory (or other) and the SATA ports. Regarding the power supply, I've already upgraded to a higher power, so there is no problem with this. I have spoken with HP online technician and he said, it is possible, but again, I want to be 100% sure. Also I would ask what vcard is better overall: 8800GTS or the HD4850? I did some research and found out that temp of the HD4850 is going up even at rest that worry me a little. Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

  If a standard ATX PSU upgrade fits into your PC case and a standard size GFX PCIe card - x 16 must fit here as well. What ability to brand and power supply PSU (in Watts) you purchased the upgrade?

  If this isn't the case, you can simply return the GFX card to the seller with explanation that he wasn't your PC case.

  I have not run into problems with returns for a valid to date in online stores or physical reason.

• AoC crashes on black screen after upgrading to Windows 7

  My upgrade to Vista (64 bit) to Windows 7 appears smooth, with all works well. When I tried Age of Conan mmo for the first time, he loaded the game, but within seconds, the screen started flickering black/game/Office a few times alternately between the three with in game its operation across all three screens. After 30 seconds, the screen freezes on the game screen, or freezes on the black screen or briefly blue screens (no time to read the error message) and the computer restarts.

  I have updated drivers for my card (Nvidia 8800GT) video with Windows 7 compatible drivers, and the problem persists.

  The game went well on before Vista upgrade.

  Hi, new to the community.  So now I want to upgrade my athlonX2 4400 to a larger X 2 or X 3 or X 4 processor.  I am running a 8800gt GPU and a 680W PSU, but I'm slugging along on video editing and games a little.  I'm thinking that a faster processor would be my next step, thanks in advance for any help...

• No service after upgrade the server to 5.2 on El Capitan

  I have a web server that was doing very well until I left the 5.2 update suggested to install OS X Server. I can't get to broadcast web pages. Screen sharing works always and nothing has changed on the routers, etc.

  I restarted the server after the update and restarted the server itself several times but keep getting connection via a browser failures.

  I did the upgrade even on other servers as well as the upgrade of Sierra. This server is running El Capitan, and is the only one that gave me problems. 5.2 server is not compatible with El Capitan?

  Some additional info:

  I can connect to the server through ftp and other services; just no web service.

  Port tests show that port 80 is not blocked

  Using the IP address I can get to the window of the home server.

  Accessibility means no services available

  Websites is on and I can't find anything that is not defined in law or is different than before the update.

The good news is that these steps will be useful for your problem of phone calls while using the bluetooth in your car. • Yahoo Mail failure after upgrade of Sierra - iMac

  After the upgrade to Sierra... Now I find that I can't 'see' Yahoo mail... I tried to add the a/c: then the removal of the a/c. I get the Triangle of Hazzard indicating error account! I went down this loop for 2 days...

  All my other email accounts worked instantly. iCloud: Gmail etc.

  I tried to manually configure the settings...

  Everything seems 'normal'... but not a thing, no mail: no record... a real pain. the only joy that is web based too... If I can work...

  But, come on APPLE... This happens to my Yahoo mail whenever I update IOS... What is going on???

  Thanks for the upgrade to iOS 10! I understand that when you launch the app Stocks there are no headlines loading. Great way to try to resolve in uninstalling and then downloading it again from the App store. If this did not fix the app, you can try to make sure you have a good and stable internet connection. Also, check that your date and time settings are set to "auto detect".

  How long have you waited? After a new installation, it must be a fair while even with a SSD to prepare the first backup due to the number of modified files.

  Make sure the TM drive is in the list of items excluded from Spotlight indexing. ICloud newsletter and other cloud services.

I'm unable to use the preview to scan.  Before this upgrade, it worked fine.  The HP scanner software does NOT work something like OS 10.8 or 10.9.  Preview worked perfectly so far.  If anyone knows how to solve this problem, your contribution will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

  Have you tried scanning with Capture of Image instead? It worked for me.

• iMovie crashes after Sierra upgraded.

  I have a MacBook Air and yesterday I upgraded the OS to Sierra. After that, iMovie crashes as soon as it load and continued to do so throughout the day. I can't access a video of work I had done and really need to send it to my client to download on their website. I repeatedly sent reports to Apple and restarted my laptop 3 times. I can't force leave them, because the program is still not open long enough to do something.

  I also tried to get a fix to remedy the situation, but there doesn't seem to be available.

  Does anyone have a solution to this? My laptop is less than 3 years.

  I understand that you updated your MacBook Air to macOS Sierra and now the iMove application is not responding.

  You did it to Time Machine backup your computer before updating?  You install iMovie version 10.1.2 after update to macOS Sierra?  Have you restarted your computer?  You try to access a project in iMovie or did you finish the project and export a video file (film)?

  Try these initial steps to solve your problem:

  1 launch the App Store on your Mac app, click updates, and then click the button next to iMovie update.

  2. restart your Macbook Air.

  3. open the Finder.  Open the Applications folder.

  4. right click on iMovie and choose read information.   Check the version 10.1.2.

  5 double-click on the iMovie application to open it.

  If the problem persists please reply to this thread with an update, including error messages that you may encounter and we will study further with you.
