Upgrade to LR5.7 and PS Elements 13.  With the help of a Solid State Drive, which is more complete! Can I remove older versions of these programs without affecting the functionality of the new programs?

Yes, there is no need to keep older versions of the software on the SSD (or your computer).

In addition, you mentioned but if the photos are on the SSD, you must move them off the SSD for a typical hard drive, by following these instructions: Adobe Lightroom - find folders and files moved or missing

You understand that you will not be able to upgrade Windows XP to Windows 7?  He will have to do a clean install.

The Council supports Windows 7, you can get the drivers here (the chipset drivers should be the first drivers you install after installing the operating system.)

  • Can I remove older versions of PS and LR

I joined on the creative cloud photography program.  Installed the latest versions of PS and LR... and I still have older versions of these on my hard drive that goes back to the PS2 and LR2.  If I can remove these older versions to free up space, or are they necessary to support the newer programs?  Thank you.

    Ken

Feel free to remove them. Separate main versions of Adobe products interact and install in different places. Be aware that you need to reinstall the CC stuff since the removal of older versions after that does mess with file associations and shared components.

  • I have firefox 3.6.3, 4.0.1 5.0.1 6.0.1 and 6.0 in my downloads. Can I remove older versions of download?

During the past two years, several updates of Firefox occurred on my PC. They appear in my downloads - 3.6.3; 4.0.1; 5.0.1; 6.0 and 6.0.1.

I would like to delete the old version, but I don't want to create a problem.

Is this ok to remove older versions of download?

You can safely remove people install (install) files because there is no need to install these older versions.

I changed my ISP and routers.  I need to change the settings to the new router wireless.  However, when I try to access the network settings on the printer through the screen on the printer, it is said that it is locked by the system administrator.  I am the admin.  Where can I access it without being on the network?  I tried to reset to the default values of factpry, but the same problem exists; It is blocked by the system administrator.

I was able to solve the problem.  I went through the set up using the USB cord.  Then I switched it to wireless technology.

  • The address and tab bar disappeared with the new update.

While I was out today my computer updated itself and when I got back, I could see is no longer my tabs, the address bar or the menu bar, while on firefox, it shows me just the page that I am consulting... The address bar and the tabs appear when I move my cursor to the top of the screen, but disappear again as soon as I have it away. I prefer much the old way because he lets me keep track of what I was doing at the same time without having to move my cursor all over the screen. Is there a way I can get it back to the old where I can see all at once?

The sounds that you spent in mode full screen.

Make sure that you run not Firefox mode full screen (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: Command + SHIFT + F).

  • Problem with the new update

Any browser looks graphically unstable and content is empty with the new update, is it just me or is just the update which is unstable?

    Hello

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. You will have to perhaps restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

    Then perform the following steps:

    1. Click the menu button

then select Options Preferences on Mac or Linux, or Windows.

    2. In the window of Firefox Options (or preferences), click on the Advanced tab, and then select general.
    3. You will find in the list of parameters, the checkbox use hardware acceleration when available . Clear this check box.
    4. Now restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

In addition, please check the updates for your graphics driver by following the steps in the following knowledge base articles:

    What can I do?

You can only update if you have a version of the AppStore of Aperture - if your version of Aperture appears in the history of your purchases on the App Store. Update and then reinstalling.   See this tip of the user for more details:

Thanks for the reply with the details,

You can activate the Device Manager to view hidden devices by following the steps mentioned below:

    1. Click Start, point to programs, point to Accessories, and then click command prompt.
    2. At a command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:

      Set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices = 1

    3. Type the following command a command prompt and press ENTER:

      Start devmgmt.msc

    4. Troubleshoot the devices and drivers in Device Manager.

Uninstall all software and drivers for printers:

When you need to uninstall a driver completely, the best and safest method is to use the uninstaller of the device (if it has one). If you have added the device to your system with a Setup program (as is the case with most of the graphics card and sound card drivers, for example), you can uninstall it as you would any other program.

    1. Click Start, type uninstall program, and then press enter.
    2. In the uninstall window, which appears, scroll through the list and find your device or drivers. Double-click the entry to start the uninstall process.

Sometimes devices will not have an uninstall program or the uninstall program will not appear in the list. In these cases, you can use Device Manager to remove the driver completely.

    1. Click Start, type Device Managerand press enter.
    2. Find and double click on the category of the device you want to uninstall (for example, the graphic card would be listed under display card) driver.
    3. Right click on the device, and then click Uninstall.
    4. Windows prompts you to confirm the removal of the device. Click OK to remove the driver.
    5. Once the uninstall is complete, restart your computer as soon as possible.

Once the above steps are done, click here to download the full software features for your printer and follow the Setup process to start to use your printer again.

I would like to know if these measures worked for you.  If they did, it's great!  Give us some reinforcements by clicking on the solution and laurels, buttons that help and others see that we have the answers!
