Upgrade Windows 7 32 bit driver
So, recently, I bought a game on Steam and it does not work because I'm running on 32-bit instead of 64-bit. I looked around and replies only got as ranging from 32 to 64 bit all mentioned a USB key or upgrade disc. The thing is; I don't have one of those, so I'm a little lost. And Yes, my computer is compatible with 64-bit, so I can upgrade once I have find a way.
You plan only to upgrade the drivers for 32 bit to 64 bit or plan to upgrade 32 bit OS to 64-bit?
If you plan to upgrade OS 32-bit to 64-bit, unfortunately, it is not possible to upgrade. If you are running a 32-bit version of Windows, you can only switch to another 32-bit version of Windows. You must do a clean install, there is no mechanism to update/change architecture from 32 to 64 either disc or USB. Also, you need to reinstall your programs, as they are all configured to run on a 32-bit system.

This can help with some (but not all the) programs/drivers:
(1) uninstall the program, if it is already installed. Then when install you / reinstall instead of double click on the Setup file, right click and select 'resolve compatibility issues.
(2) then click on 'Try recommended settings' and in the next window, click on "Start the Program" to install it.
(3) after he set up see if it works properly. Note: some programs may not be able to run in Windows 7.

I have an i 5 2500 with windows 7 32 bit home premium edition CPU and 8 GB of RAM (4 x 2 corsair 1600). The motherboard is ASRock Z68 Pro3-M.
The device works on a collermaster of 500 MW PSU.
He seemed to have messed up somewhere, as my computer shows that only 2.73 GB is used. How can I use all of the 8 GB? I understand the fix, is what I do rather get windows 7 64 bit.

Yes, when you start from the middle of the installation, will give you the opportunity to do a custom installation:

The ACPI from Toshiba x 64 compatible driver certainly means a 64-bit version!
I put t know why Vista driver update notification indicates a 64-bit to a 32 bit OS driver, but usually the 64-bit driver should not be compatible with the 32 bit OS.
However, the deal seems clear don t install if the pilot is not designed for your operating system.
