• X61T overheating slightly after upgrade to win7 64 bit

  Hello

  I just upgraded my X61t with a new SSD and Win7 Home 64 bit. But I noticed it's running more hot (temperature displayed by CoreTemp) than the previous Vista 32bits. While Vista 32 was about 60 with a maximum of 70 degrees, Win7 64 bit is mostly 70 with a maximum of 85.

  Is this normal? What worry, anyone seen this symptom with Win7 already? Maybe I should stay with 32 bit?

  What is the operating system or some driver missing?

  (I have the BIOS 1.25)

  Hello

  After that a few days on Win7-64 is still no update from Windows Update, don't know why. Finally, I went with Win7-32 and updates quickly popped up, installed all the + all the stuff from Lenovo and it works ok now. It still runs hot sometimes (about 80) when the CPU is at full load, but otherwise seems normal.

  Upgrades memory to a X 61 Tablet possible 800 MHz (PC2-6400)? The standard is PC-5300, but the laptop has a 800 MHz FSB.

  Hi all. New to the community and you have a question to ask. I have a x61T preloaded with Vista Business. It came with R & R disc and product recovery discs. If I put a blank hard drive in the computer, can I use the R & R disc and product recovery disks to restore the Vista operating system and factory State? Thank you.

• X61T, Support SATA-II, 150Mbps SSD problems

  I bought a high speed of SSD (X 25 - M G2) for my Thinkpad X 61 Tablet with the hope of reaching a ultra fast and silent machine. I installed a new copy of Windows 7, with each firmware and drivers updated to the latest news releases... Unfortunately for X 61 Tablet support SATA-II has been capped at 150Mbps. Now performance my SSD is slightly better than a 7200 RPM HARD drive.

  What I understand other discussions on this topic, is that Lenovo put this course intentionally artificial speed (while supporting material is here). Is this true? If so, it is totally unacceptable.

  My X61T is a perfect tool for me and incomparable with its LCD high-resolution (1400 x 1050). If you upgrade to a mediocre 200 X, it just won't cut it. PDF documents appear as print (a 144dpi of resolution LCD screen), and I'm totally paperless now.

  It is technically possible to raise this ceiling? If so, where can we write to Lenovo? Any suggestions?

  That said, I don't think its useful to start another thread on the subject, so I'm going to block it.

• X61T graphics error

  Last year I experienced a gradually worsening of the problem with the display on my x61t. It seems stuck in a mode where the only authorized are for screen resolutions 1024 x 768 and 800 x 600, and only the 70% top left of the screen is actually useful - the right and bottom edges are simply a repetition of the left and top edges of the useful part of the screen, respectively. This image illustrates the problem. I can provide more pictures, if necessary, but this one shows all aspects of the problem.

  As you can see I'm running Windows 7. I've also upgraded the RAM to 4 GB (2x2gb) and uses a 500 GB HARD drive. Everything else is stock.

  I started having the problem about a year ago (before upgrading the RAM or hard drive - in fact, I'm even under Vista at the time). It was rare and solvable by stopping, unplug the power, remove the battery for a bit, then putting it back together again. In the past months, however, the problem occurred more frequently. Worse still, the easy solution no longer works. I thought it could be an overheating problem, but now it doesn't matter how long I let the machine alone or the State let in - in "standby mode", firm, and even with no power/battery connected - the problem is no longer goes its own...

  If it is indeed the GPU, you will need to get a new motherboard.

• Lenovo X61T: (Intel WiFi Link 4695AGN) wireless adapter doesn't work!

  I have been a user of X61T (tablet) for over 2 years now and have never had problems of WiFi connection, either. I've upgraded to Windows 7 last year and things have only improved.

  Today, however, after the uninstall of a program called "Connectify" that basically turns your laptop into a WiFi hotspot, my wireless Radio JUST doesn't work! My wireless Radio switch (it's at the front) is on (I pushed to the right). Until yesterday, it was working great. I even used my wireless network to create a hotspot WiFi using Coonectify. I also removed from Connectify because it did not work. And then I just uninstall Connectify because I don't see an interest in the creation of a hotspot, when I have a wireless router at home. I restarted my PC and her Viola - wireless RADIO WAS DEAD! I do not see the Green LED for WiFi on the far left will blink more. Gone!

  Went to Device Manager, and I see no problem with the device of 4695 Intel WiFi Link driver. Again, I uninstalled and downloaded the newest one. STILL DOES NOT!

  I checked the records to see if I can find all the entries of Connectify which may cause the problem, but Nada! Nothing there too! I feel fairly pessimistic because I got a new wireless router yesterday NETGEAR N-150 and even not 24 hours later, I'm back using the ETHERNET cable.

  I would really appreciate if someone can help me here! Thank you.

• No service after upgrade the server to 5.2 on El Capitan

  I have a web server that was doing very well until I left the 5.2 update suggested to install OS X Server. I can't get to broadcast web pages. Screen sharing works always and nothing has changed on the routers, etc.

  I restarted the server after the update and restarted the server itself several times but keep getting connection via a browser failures.

  I did the upgrade even on other servers as well as the upgrade of Sierra. This server is running El Capitan, and is the only one that gave me problems. 5.2 server is not compatible with El Capitan?

  Some additional info:

  I can connect to the server through ftp and other services; just no web service.

  Port tests show that port 80 is not blocked

  Using the IP address I can get to the window of the home server.

  Accessibility means no services available

  Websites is on and I can't find anything that is not defined in law or is different than before the update.

  I'm a fool. After owning my Macbook for 5 years, I failed to make a single Time Machine backup. I just saved my essential to an external hard drive. I have upgraded to iOS Sierra. Big mistake. I want to go back to iOS Capitan, but it does not seem possible. Now, my external hard drive is wiped clean (things are dark). What are my options? If I'm stuck with Sierra?

  If you have downloaded El Capitan, it should always be available in your purchases. Now, you will need to make a backup to backup your personal files.

  Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. I know having a problem with calls on your iPhone in your car, it's not what you expect. The good news is that these steps will be useful for your problem of phone calls while using the bluetooth in your car. Go to settings > general > accessibility > routing of Audio calls and the value headset/Bluetooth Headset and retest your question.

• Yahoo Mail failure after upgrade of Sierra - iMac

  After the upgrade to Sierra... Now I find that I can't 'see' Yahoo mail... I tried to add the a/c: then the removal of the a/c. I get the Triangle of Hazzard indicating error account! I went down this loop for 2 days...

  All my other email accounts worked instantly. iCloud: Gmail etc.

  I tried to manually configure the settings...

  Everything seems 'normal'... but not a thing, no mail: no record... a real pain. the only joy that is web based too... If I can work...

  But, come on APPLE... This happens to my Yahoo mail whenever I update IOS... What is going on???

  I always seem to end up in a CHAT SESSION just to get my MAIL BASIC... This ISN'T a quality SERVICE...

  MAIL today, is a very basic service... Please, APPLE... issue a patch for us, the little guys

  One user posted (Re: Sierra - Yahoo mail offline persistently) he has had success in choosing don't no Yahoo when you set up the account, but to choose the other and set up the details manually. You would like to try and see if it works for you.

  After the upgrade to 10 Safari, I can no longer stream from a certain website. Instead of playing the video stream, I'm prompted to save "player.swf" as shown above.  This problem occurs on el Capitan, and it happens on the Sierra, and it all started when I updated Safari 9.x to 10.0

  Open Safari preferences / Security tab and check the box allow Plug-ins.

  Very soon of Flash player and the plugin will be obsolete and this web page needs to change its code to HTML5.

  Thanks for the upgrade to iOS 10! I understand that when you launch the app Stocks there are no headlines loading. Great way to try to resolve in uninstalling and then downloading it again from the App store. If this did not fix the app, you can try to make sure you have a good and stable internet connection. Also, check that your date and time settings are set to "auto detect".

  Another weird thing happens to the toolbar of the Mac Mail. The Junk button is replaced by another button. trying to put back in place, but remove the button become a button.

  How long have you waited? After a new installation, it must be a fair while even with a SSD to prepare the first backup due to the number of modified files.

  Make sure the TM drive is in the list of items excluded from Spotlight indexing. ICloud newsletter and other cloud services.
