I have no idea of what created the CD, but there is a small chance
that install a UDF reader would make the disc readable:

I would like to install the panoramic snow theme but shows like PanoramicSnow.deskthemepack file extension. Win7 does not recognize the file type for the installation due to the addition of the "office" in the extension.  would it be possible to have that corrected please?  Thank you!

    Hello PMacCk,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum.

Basically, the .deskthemepack extension is not recognized by Windows 7 because it is introduced in Windows 8. The new "panoramic" desktop themes all use this format.

    For reference, please see:

There are still regularly .themepack themes available and those who continue to work in Windows 7 and Windows 8. Please visit the following link to download and install the themes:

How can I convert .ai files in jpeg format?  It seems that I am only able to get the .ai files and my Adobe Photo Elements program does not recognize the file.

I want to continue my membership with Adobe, however, not if it requires some additional software purchase.

For .ai files, you will need to use or know someone who uses Illustrator or another program compatible .ai to convert. If you access a page of image details before license you can see the file type.

In photoshop elements go to Image > Mode and click on 8-bit/channel and see if that makes a difference.

  • Tecra S3: Installation of Vista does not recognize the HARD drive

I try to install Vista Ultimate on my Tecra S3, but installation does not recognize the HARD drive.

I tried to find the driver for Vista for my computer, but not found RAID.
Tried it with XP drivers, but no longer works.

Do you have an idea where I can download Vista drivers for RAID?

    THX

    Hello

Your suggestion is good. The Tecra S3 supports the RAID, and the RAID driver is required to install the OS on the HARD drive.
On the European driver Toshiba page I found a RAID for XP driver.

I put t know if this driver will run under Vista, but I recommend to test.
The RAID XP 1.3.8.0 driver version can be downloaded from this site:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=EU

Please note; You can store the RAID driver on an external USB and Vista should recognize it!

    Good luck

  • Catalyst to travel constantly crashes, does not recognize the files

I have a PXW - X 70 and shot several hours to XAVC Long GOP. I tried to transcode lots in catalyst access the ProRes format and go constantly crashes. I have restart browse, search and see what files were not yet converted and repeat ad nauseum to get through one of the many prizes.

At least the problem has a solution tedious, but more troubling is that browse simply does not recognize half of my images. When I try to open the files it says "There are no clips in the selected folder" even if in the Finder, I can see that there are many clips.

Has anyone else had these problems? I just downloaded the latest version to browse, but who has not made a difference. I'm on a Macbook Pro, early 2013, just upgraded to Yosemite (but had these problems before the upgrade) and am beyond frustrated. I know I can buy prepared but I heard some people have problems with that as well, so I'd like to see if I can do this work before throwing money to solve the problem.

    Thank you!

isybela, can you please try the following:

Please reset the software preferences. To do this, hold the CTRL + SHIFT keys, and then open catalyst Browse. Hold down these keys until you see "do you reset all the preferences to browse catalyst to the default values?"

Then, release the keys and click Yes.

Let me know if the software still crashes after that.

  • Vista does not recognize the previous Windows forms (2003) and Excel spreadsheets. Is there any solution for this?

Vista does not accept Windows 2003 documents and spreadsheets - is there a solution?

    Hi wavedave,.

By 2003 documents and spreadsheets are you referring to Microsoft Office 2003? Vista is not a copy of Microsoft Office as part of the operating system; You can buy a copy of Microsoft Office. However, if it is simply a case of you is not not able to read (to create, you will need a copy of Microsoft Office) there is still rlevant application "Viewer Office." You need a viewer for each application, but, basically, it allows you to 'see' the documents word, excel etc. documents without having a copy of Microsoft Office on your system. As I said, you can "show" them if you need to change or create excel spreadsheets or word documents, you must purchase a copy of office.

See this link for more information on the viewers of rleevant: http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/downloads/office-online-file-converters-and-viewers-HA001044981.aspx

  • Windows Vista does not recognize the removable storage device

    ISSUE INITIAL 2010-03-03)
    Here's the scenario:
    1. Insert the card compact flash.
2 computer recognizes the removable storage (that is, it is assigned a drive letter and appears in disk management).
    3. use the icon remove the device safely in the taskbar to stop the machine to remove safely.
    4. remove the card compact flash.
    5. Insert the compact flash card.
    6. the computer does not recognize removable storage (that is, it is not assigned a drive letter and does not appear in disk management).

The only way I can get windows to recognize the drive is to restart my computer. How can I get windows recognize the drive without having to reboot?   This problem does not occur with USB flash drives.

Windows Vista Hame Premium, 64-bit, Service Pack 2 operating system

    UPDATE (04/03/2010):
I have more information, I hope this helps to reach a solution.

-J' repeated the steps above 1 to 3, with open Device Manager.  In step 3, in the Device Manager window, the icon for the question USB mass storage device becomes the exclamation point in yellow triangle icon.  Check its properties on the tab "General", in the "Device status" box, it says: "Windows cannot use this hardware device because it has been established for"safe removal", but it has not been removed from the computer. (Code 47)  IX this problem, disconnect the device from your computer and then reconnect it.  Click on 'Search for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available. »
-J' then removed the card and rest of the error state.
-J' I re inserted the card, and rest of the error state.
-J' I then tried to update the driver by accessing the tab "driver", click on "Update driver", click on "Automatically search for an updated driver", and the result was "the best driver for your device is already installed."

I found the solution on this hp web page:
    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/document?DocName=bph07910&tmp_task=solveCategory&LC=en&DLC=en&cc=us&product=3876397&lang=en#N1074

Basically, it says NOT to use the function "remove the device safely.  Instead, just right-click on the drive in the Solution Explorer, then choose "Eject".  Works perfectly.

    Some excerpts...
"Memory card readers are devices that use the icon remove the device safely in the notification area in the taskbar). Do not click stop in the window, remove the device safely. Doing so can disconnect the card memory reader for Windows. In this case, restart the computer to reset the memory card reader. »
"An alternative to the restart of the computer is to use the option optimize for fast moving functionality in Windows.

  • I just upgraded to 4.4 and begun to use LR for the first time. I have a canon 70 d, but when I import SD card, I get an error message that LR does not recognize the files and a number of 241.

How do LR to import my files on my SD card because it keeps telling me that it doesn't recognize the files. I have a 70 d canine and shoot in RAW and JPEG. The videos are imported but not the photos.

Since a 70 d Canon RAW photos can be imported directly into Lightroom 4.4. You need version 5.2 or newer to do this.

As an alternative, you can download and install the FREE Adobe DNG Converter and then use it to convert your RAW to DNG, and then import the DNG in Lightroom 4.4.
