By mistake, I downloaded the updates for windows xp. I use vista ultimate 32-bit os. Now I can't get the installed updates! In my view, that it caused my system picking up a TROJAN horse and something else called SWEETBOX. That's what show my scans. Any ideas?

Hi batoutaaustin22

Michael has had some good advice, however, you should have an anti-virus/Anti-spyware running that will scan and quarantine or remove any Trojan/spyware/maleware or others have found on your system. As Michael said Microsoft Updates-ITMU will never install a Trojan or a virus. If you still have problems updating from 'your mistake' you can always - on startup, press F8, and then click "last known good configuration" and you should be just fine. Which do not affect documents, photos or other meetings, just the system files that may have been affected. If it still does not help, you can always go to system restore and choose a restore point that has been 'prior' in your download of this upgrade mistakin. Oh, and finally, if you feel that your system is not running properly or you end up with error codes, lack of files or such you can run SFC. XP-go to start, run, type cmd.exe in the command prompt type sfc/scannow and press to enter. Vista-go to start, search, type cmd.exe, double click, at the prompt, type in sfc/scannow. There have been moments scan disk is not enough to find the system files missing, damaged system files or off place-sfc will seek and difficulty of all files that may be damaged or missing.

Hope this helps you. If so please Vote as useful that make other peoples answers that much quicker and easier in this forum.

Best regards
Pete

  • FTP upload problem "error creating folder/phone".

    We have launched our new Web site in December and downloaded and updated without problems before.
    I made very minor updates today and tried 6 - 7 times now - download "changed files only" on our FTP host.
    Sometimes at 60% and accidents, saying there is an "error creating folder/phone" and try again later.

    I don't think it's a FTP host error, but rather an error in the Adobe software. I contacted MUSE initially and they

    directed me to this site for a solution, saying that it was a problem of Adobe software.

    It is a business Web site, so I need solve this problem as soon as possible.

    * I have included a screenshot of the error message below *.

  • "Voice Message Upload Error" - creation of a personal voicemail does not work

    HI again!

    Just a note to ask if someone at Skype can help with a tech questions. Just set up my new shiny number (which does not yet!) and then tried to set up voicemail. Sometimes I can save a virtual machine but not read or save it and I get messages like;

    'Upload voice error message' and 'Voice Message error reading '.

    Seems to Skype and I got off to a bad start! Help appreciated and I tried this for an hour and no luck at all!

    Thank you

    Sarah

    I had the same problem, and I was looking for help, but could not find.

    It's very frustrating not being able to record a greeting voicemail customized because default greeting looks like very hostile. (A stern survey woman says: "the party that you want to reach is unavailable!") He said not even the appellants what number they have reached so they could be left wondering if they have reached a sufficient number.

    In any case... I hit on an idea and tried it out, and it worked!

    One of the buttons has two sets of arrows going round and round. It is the button to reset the voicemail for the default greeting. You wouldn't click to record a custom greeting, but I moved and that you have clicked this button, and he asked me if I was sure that I wanted to return to the default welcome message. On a hunch, I selected the Yes option. After I did it, all of a sudden I could record a voice greeting! (Press the red circle to save, press again to stop the recording and press the green arrow to play it back and see how it sounds.)

    I hope this helps someone out there.

    I try to use the ActionScript File.upload to transfer a file on Air SDK for iOS environment, but the File.upload does not work properly. No event on the file upload handler is executed after File.upload is called, and no exception is caught. When I check the side network traffic server, I found no application http even didn't hit the server after execution of File.upload. The code is below.

    When it is run on the simulator of the Air, it works very well as expectedand the file is successfully downloaded to the server. But when run on iOS devices (in my case, iPad), as I explained at the beginning, no event on the file upload handler is executed and not the http request has even hit the server. So I think that the problem may come from the client side.

    During my attempt to solve the problem, I found something complicated about this problem on iOS7. In other words, if you call the URLLoader.load method (although the URLLoader.load points to an address non-existed) before calling the File.upload method, the File.upload will work as expected on iOS7. Specifically, when the above OnTrickyButtonPressed method is run before the OnUploadButtonPressedmethod, File.upload will succeed on iOS7. But this only happens on iOS7. On iOS8, File.upload still refuses to work, regardless of knowing if the URLLoader.load is executed before.

    I think in my case, the problem is not the problem of sandbox or a session of Firefox problem described in the two links below, because not even a http request hit the side server. It seems that the Air SDK for iOS comes to fail send the http reason request any.

    http://StackOverflow.com/questions/5967382/Flex-4-FileReference-issues-with-Firefox

    http://StackOverflow.com/questions/351258/how-do-i-make-Flex-file-upload-work-on-Firefox-a nd-safari

    To make my problem clear, I list my environment below:

    • Development environment: Windows7 (64-bit) / Mac os 10.9.4 (tested on both OS platforms.)
    • IDE: Flash Builder 4.7
    • Air SDK: 3.8 / 16.0.0 (after that I have updated to the latest Air SDK 16.0.0, problem persists.)
    • Application server: Tomcat7 + spring

    Finally, I want to mention that download the file using URLLoader.load isn't an option in my case because I want to download large files in the future, which cannot be addressed with the URLLoader.load.

    I struggled with this for days. If I really appreciate it if anyone has an idea about this.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi KA RYU.

    We have reproduced the issue successfully, our team would work on it.

  • Application Loader SSL error

    Hello

    We are trying to download the new version for the fix 32 Sept. 13. Application loader is to deny the upload because "error SSL and a connection to the server cannot be made." We have not received before with other builds. Is there a work around?

    Thank you!

    This looks like a problem to Apple Application Loader being their app. You must call the Apple support. My guess is that they have some system problems with the huge amount of app updates happening due to iOS8.

  • Adobe Muse, FTP transfer failed: 553

    Hello

    I have a problem trying to download some (minor) changes to an Adobe Muse Web site. The failure message is (short):

    "There is an error during the download of u1112 - 17.png. Try again later > FTP download failed: 533 ".

    (see photo below, in Dutch).

    The site is realized on an iMac and I have had no problem download from the site a month ago.

    Hoping to solve this problem I've renamed and replaced all the images, but nothing seems to work.

    Strange thing is: I don't have any image png with the name 'u1112 - 17.png' in my site or on my Mac.

    What is a police problem?

    Help, what is the problem and what can I do?

    Hello

    in my library, I found a few tricks on your problem. Please take a look at to see if it applies to your boredom.

    Of other hand - forgiveness - it is well known, that in all these cases you describe I'm not a friend of a detailed diagnosis. In order to be independent in all these things is one of the reasons why I prefer an external FTP program. The difficulties with which we must fight encourage me in this opinion, especially because we are always looking for experts, we charge a 'jack of all trades '.

    To manage multiple Web sites or download my files, and sometimes for the reverse, for a necessary download from my server or use a "sync a whole site", I use FileZilla. It just seems easy for me to keep track of all transactions accurately and generate or easily reflect the desired tree structure.

    First and foremost, FileZilla has a function (translation of my German FileZilla), called 'compare the list of files. Here it is possible to use the time of size or change file as a criterion. There is also the possibility of 'hide identical files', while only those files that you want to redact remain visible.

    And even if it means that you need to install a new program, I am convinced that there is an advantage. Here is the link to get it and where you can read information on how it works:

    http://FileZilla-project.org/ and http://wiki.filezilla-project.org/Tutorial#Using_the_site_manager

    Mac: Mac OS X (use: the additional download options)

    http://FileZilla-project.org/download.php

    Of course, you must also all data to MIME issues and access to reach your server, please contact your web hosting provider.

  • The addon Dowload batch no longer allows me to batch upload a bunch of photos, it gives an error message.

    Since the last update, I cannot download more we batch. When I try to upload all the pictures, I get this error message:

    "An error occurred when downloading files. Maybe the name of the file has forbidden characters, or download folder does not exist. »

    Until this last update, this addon worked perfectly.

    If you can consider trying other extensions, here's one called Images to record which has been updated last week:

    https://addons.Mozilla.org/firefox/addon/save-images/

    There is a selector named image Downloader of images that has also stopped working in Firefox 36. In one of the comments posted by users of the measures to change a line in the code to fix it. Perhaps a similar solution could be made to BatchDownload?

  • Error uploading file with SSL

    Having a strange problem on my site. With the latest version of Firefox 36, whenever I try to download a file of type doc or pdf, I get the following error:

    The secure connection failed

    The connection to the server was reset while the page is loading.

    The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
    Contact the Web site owners to inform them of this problem.

    It works on all other browsers and previous versions of firefox. This also works if the page does not use https. We checked on the SSL certificates and they are up-to-date. I'm just puzzled at the way in which certain types of files cause this problem.

    I'm just using the following simple code to test:

    <!DOCTYPE html>
    <html>
    <head>
    <title>File Upload</title>
    </head>

    <body>

    <form id="editTemplateMultipart-editForm" method="post" enctype="multipart/form-data">
      <input type="file" name="myFile">
      <button>Send the file</button>
    </form>

    </body>
    </html>

    Thanks for your help

    In fact, we just discovered the issue! Looks like it is the SSL accelerator back some errors of analysis. Had me technical support CISCO to examine it and they fixed.
