  I just bought a new 128 GB iPhone 6 seconds more and it's now the latest version of the iOS 10.0.2 software executing.  I've used other platforms (Android, BlackBerry) and I miss one features are the ability to have only sound important contacts through notifications, but all others are silenced.  It is very convenient when it is at work or out with friends that I get constant, a beep or vibration but am able to know immediately when, say, my child or my boss of messages me.  The boss and the child have iMessage, if this is relevant, but others are on different platforms, so I hope that I can set up in general.  E-mail applications that I use the most are iMessage, BBM, text, Facebook Messenger more telephone calls.

  You can use a do not disturb to reduce to silence the alerts. You can configure specific contacts so that alerts text for them always come. Go to the contact you want to implement. Press "Edit" at the top right. Type your text. At the top of the list is "Bypass of emergency." Turn it on. Tap done. Tap done again.

  You can also do the same for calls.

  Not disturb will silence the alerts to third-party messaging applications. I don't know of any way around that.

  With 3 beeps, 5 seconds silence, 3 beeps, etc, it's "no good bank."  I was using crucial memory, works fine until about a week ago when he is awakened from his sleep gave the order to 3 beeps.  Changed to original memory of apple, same, got crucial replacement memory, same 3 beeps...  I doubt that all the 3 series were / are bad.  What else could be?  Any hardware problem would give sequence 3 beeps?

  Have you checked the settings > sounds and haptic to see if 'Vibrate to silent' is enabled?

• Cannot silence the mail

  I'm puzzled. I'm trying to silence Mail. I have disabled mail Notification sound. I turned off in the preferences of Mail sounds - in other words, the new message is None and sounds unchecked for other mail actions. But I still have a sound Basso whenever Mail checks for mail. I checked the accounts and I don't see a place to kill sounds. Help please :-)

  I am currently doing a game, where the timing of the music is very important. I decided to try to make my own music for the game, so I did a few songs. Unfortunately, at the beginning, it was quite a long silence at the end of the song. I found a solution online, where you drag the yellow bar below the timeline to show where the section you want to export begins and ends. He got rid of most of the silence, but not all. There is still a tiny little (less than one second) of silence at the end of the song, and since the game will loop the song, which makes the song more and more wide synchronization whenever a loop is executed.

  Inside GarageBand, however, when I listen to the song, it makes a loop perfectly. Even when I tried to export the song, and then import it back into GarageBand (and I also tried with Audacity,) it seems to be the perfect length. But, when I tuned it with iTunes, QuickTime, or Groove music and in the game itself, I can hear a very small space that sounds very out of line and unprofessional.

  I use GarageBand 11, Version 6.0.5 (428,5).

• Satellite L500 - where to download acoustic silencer?

  For Christmas, my son got a Satellite L500 and use it for the moment to mount the CD on his iPOD. However, some and not all, CD vibrates terribly when the drive is on to say anything over 8 x, but also it can operate at 20 x and shut up. After reviewing various wires I see lost references to acoustic silencers of Toshiba and the ability to slow the disc may be the answer. However, I can't find acoustic quiet on the laptop and cannot find where you can download a copy of Toshiba.

  Any thoughts as to where I can find it on the new laptop and if not where can I download a copy legitimate. I say legitimate as there are a lot of references to download but from the websites of third parties and not of Toshiba.

  Recently, I used the small button of software called "CD/DVD Drive Acoustic Silencer" to calm the CD player while a CD is playing.

  Before that, a DVD would play well... now... a wil DVD stutter, it is in ANY player. WinDVD5, Windows Media etc... I clicked on 'Normal mode' hibernated, rebooted, turned off... nothing seems to work...

  DVD jump again... any help on this?

  What model of laptop you have exactly? Was this software already preinstalled on your device, or you install on your own?

  Try to use the system restore utility and restore the system to an earlier time. I put t know if this will help but you can try it.
