  How the hell can I get the HTML links within a flash movie open in the same browser window where said film is incorporated in (as opposed to opening in a new pop up window)? Here is the code I have inside each of the buttons that I have inside my flash animation:

  I'm working on a portfolio in Flash CS3 and AS3. I try to avoid making all in Flash, so the home page is a header CSS/HTML page that will house a piece looped flash under the heading and the portfolio of the Interior will be flash parts within the same framework of header CSS.

  I would like to know what kind of code I need to use flash portolio navigation so that the 'Home' link will open the CSS/HTML landing page in the same window, rather than launch another window. Is this something that can be done using AS3, or do I me javascrpt as well?

  Any information or suggestion for a tutorial that I can take for this would be really useful and appreciated.

  You should test online.  Local test can have varying results in the measure of targeting windows going.

  Hi Carol,.

  It might be interesting to look at model in your region under the shared components > models > region change the model.
  You should see the place holders of section definition for your buttons etc. #CREATE # CANCEL #. I suggest that you make a copy of the model and then play with it maybe just add another tag td which is empty.

  Please go to the preferences > workspace and uncheck the option 'open the document in the tabs '.

  

  Now you can click on file and choose file > open and open the two images in two different windows which can be arranged side by side.

  I think I discovered the cause of the issue, that you face.

  The problem is with the model of region "Region alert" and that there no any view defined points indicated the number of grids that can fit into his body in the region. Without any screen edge, the grid layout system attempts to use all the columns available to its container. However, because the alert region extra internal padding, columns won't work and the next line.

  To resolve this problem, you need to change the model of region "Region alert", go to "Points of view" and click Add a line. You will need to enter the following fields:

  Name: organ of the region
  Substitution model: BODY
  Rack support: checked
  The maximum fixed grid columns: -1

  This will fix the problem for you. I logged a bug in our bug for this system follow so we can fix it in a later version of the APEX.

  The problem is that it always opens the link in a new window. So if I want to open it in the same window? Change the line to:

  causes a compiler error.

  I'm embedding the swf in a web page of mine, so there is no problem of security regarding giving flash access.

  Here, you define the fields you want in the search window and ensure a small box @ the botton 'Search configuration window with fields by default.' only is not checked and then save.   I have a project that requires a "skip" button and to go to a url specified in the same window once the animation is complete. The button works, however the navigatetourl in the last image does not.

  I tried to move it to a previous setting, placing a stop in the previous framework, displacement of the order after stop and so on. No matter what I do, the new url opens in a new window and is in a constant state of refreshment. I also disabled loop but the animation begins to load the first image again anyway.  Help, please.   I use Robohelp HTML 7 and I inserted a custom button in the tool bar of navigation I want to make a link to a web page. I wish it were in the same window, but using the entire page - as it is possible to do when insert any ordinary hyperlink into a field and selecting display Connectionwithsuchprocedures: full Page option.

  I managed to create buttons to toolbar navigation which opens a link in a new window or the same window using parent frameset. Is there a javascript that would allow me to open the link using the entire page?
