Use MediaPlayer to repeat a song?

I have an app where I want background music, so I have the button to toggle the mp3 that plays music.  However when the song ends it does not repeat itself.  So I tell myself that I must do something with setRepeatMode or repeatMode, but I can't get anything to work.  Does anyone have a sample code of a repetition of the song?

Thank you

Nevermind I figured it, it's setRepeatMode()...

MediaPlayer{
  id: myPlayer
...
  }

...

Button{
onClicked:{        myPlayer.setRepeatMode(1);
        myPlayer.play();
   }

}

  • Is there a change to use mediaPlayer with InvokeManager?

    Hi I used mediaPlayer with InvokeManager to play streaming video

    But recently the mediaPlayer is unable to read the file

    Perhaps because upgrading to the new operating system

    It's my job

    void DetailPage::invokeMediaPlayer(QString aUrl)
    {
    InvokeManager invokeManager;
    InvokeRequest request;
    request.setTarget("sys.mediaplayer.previewer");
    request.setAction("bb.action.OPEN");
    request.setUri(QUrl(aUrl));
    InvokeTargetReply *reply = invokeManager.invoke(request);
    }

    When I read the documentation for the new update (release notes)

    Application integration (invocation framework) - in order to adequately support extended characters, the framework of the call games has updated its treatment of URIS to enable clients and targets to better co-ordinate their use of URI. The framework of the appeal now expected valid URIS to spend in their encrypted form to allow the targets to interpret them correctly. For the file URI, handling update ensures that the frame does not change the URI and delivers them as-is. With this change, only receiving targets URIs in invocations should expect to receive coded URIs and are required to decode them.

  • Application of music continues to repeat a song

    Hi, my new z3 will not play albums, keep repeating the first song. Past hours through the parameters can not find how to play an album, this is the new application and I've not used before thanks

    OK, step by step, I have music app not Walkman. Click on music app, screen opens with the picture of the girl who's wearing headphones. Click on play queue or pull in the left menu and select albums and an album, click on the first song he plays, then it plays again and again...
    It's a new phone so no previous settings.
    I searched through all the traction in the settings on the menu list and there was nowhere with a repeat function to tell me it was on. Menus from the top right had also no option of repetition. Eventually I found that if I click on the bar of the song at the bottom of the screen play, there is an icon of rehearsal that was on, but given that the phone is new, and I didn't seem the screen before that I do not know why. I expect repeat to be one of the functions on the three points on the right side of a song in the playlist. Or to be in the settings menu left hand side, took several hours to find, felt a little silly when I made but new Sony after several years of blackberry so probably set in my ways and slowly get used to a new operating system.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones 2 Questions: A College Web Page open and repeat a song

    Hi all!

    I looked for possible answers to these questions before posting and I found nothing. My questions are:

    1. I tried, repeatedly, to connect to my college web page (www.ccp.edu). However, I noticed that I white screen appears when you do too.

    2. while playing songs in my playlist (using Media Player of Blackberry), I noticed that there is no option that will allow me to simply repeat the currently playing song. The listed repeating option, when you press the blackberry button, only allows me to repeat the entire playlist.

    This is my first Blackberry! And if it is not perfect, I enjoyed using it so far! Please any suggestions are welcome!

  • iPod classic used to synchronize all the songs in the library

    I have 414 albums and 3100 songs in my iTunes library on my Windows 7 desktop. Same problem on my laptop Win 8.1.

    When I connect my 106 GB Classic iPOD, songs only 398 appear when I click on 'Musical library of full synchronization.'  Up to 85% of the songs that are on my hard drive in the iTunes folder Media/Music doesn't sync to iPOD Classic.

    Help! It used to work very well for years until last year.

    Choose a song that is currently not sync to the iPod.  In the iTunes window, find it in your iTunes library, make a right click and select information.  In the Info window, go to the file tab.  Next to location, what he says it?  If it shows a file path, you can copy and paste in your next post.  (If your full real name is in the path, please substitute for it).  Who can predict an idea why this song (and others) do not currently synchronizing with the iPod.

  • "Play-to' peripheral network keeps repeating same song

    When I move a group of songs to the play area on the right panel and select the menu item ' in play', my DLNA compatible AV controller is displayed. When I select it, a new window opens, and the first song on the list begins to play on the audio/video devices. Fine.

    The problem is that the song just keeps repeating. It doesn't matter if the 'repeat' control is enabled or disabled. I can click on any song in the list and he plays with happiness this song - again and again and more :-(

    If I select a playlist saved from the DLNA client, he plays very well and is not repeated. Unfortunately, I want to control the WMP device, not in the Panel of the DLNA client.

    Help appreciated.

    It's probably something that should be fixed by Denon. they have a support

  • Play sounds in the order using MediaPlayer

    Hello. How to play sounds in order?

    For now, here are my code.

    I have a MediaPlayer component as an attached object

    http://developer.BlackBerry.com/native/reference/Cascades/bb__multimedia__mediaplayer.html

    attachedObjects :[
        MediaPlayer{
           id: sound
           sourceUrl: "asset:///sounds/sound1.mp3"
        }
    ]

    Then I have a button. Here is what my code for it

    Button{
       id: play
       text: "Play Sequence"

       onClicked :{

          sound.sourceUrl = "asset:///sounds/sound1.mp3"
          sound.play();
          sound.sourceUrl = "asset:///sounds/sound2.mp3"
          sound.play();
          sound.sourceUrl = "asset:///sounds/sound3.mp3"
          sound.play();

       }
    }

    What goes wrong.

    The code runs after 1 second about, cut the next sound. I'm doing his next game, after the end of his previous.

    The sounds are not finished because play() is not a call blocking. Once you call the play() function it will start playing the sound and return immediately to the following line of code in the QML. If the next line is a call to the play() still it will have precedence over previous sound, i.e. If you think logically about what you need in an application, you would not have the sound of a doorbell 2 seconds later, play just because you play already a sound, you would stop, as it does.

    My suggestion to use a selection intended to use the MediaPlayer playlist function, that you implemented will obviously suffer from the same problem for the above reason. A playlist is a separate file that contains a list of media you want to play and can be in different formats.

    My other suggestion of using onPlaybackCompleted does not seem to have been followed by you, but is probably the easiest to implement.

    MediaPlayer {
        id: mediaPlayer

        onPlaybackCompleted: {        count = count + 1;
            var s = count;
            mediaPlayer.setSourceUrl("asset:///sounds/sound" + s + ".mp3");
            mediaPlayer.play();
        }

    }

    Where count is a comprehensive, defined property to 1 in your QML file and you have some relaxation (onCreationCompleted or clicking a button) to start the first play().

  • Can I use remap time repeating the selected images?

    Hello

    I have a composition where I want to repeat some frameworks (on all layers) as well but I don't want to overwrite the image after that repeats, i.e. I want the membership to become a longer frame, so for example if I want to repeat frame 4 then order of managers would go from

    12345...

    TO

    123445...

    Is this possible with the remapping of the time? If so, because there are several layers in the composition, rather that using the time remapping on each layer separately, should I dial before all the layers in a new publication, then apply the time remapping to this new computer?

    Any help would be appreciated - I've not really used remapping time before I struggle with it a little

    Thank you

    Joe

    Yes.

    You could easily do what you ask. Simply set a keyframe at the image that you want to repeat. Copy this key frame. Paste it on the following image. And then scoot your end keyframe one frame further down the timeline.

  • How to play 2 sequentially sounds of a button using MediaPlayer?

    Hi all

    It can be quite simple and I'm just been staring at this long, so I don't get it.  Basically, I want to have a single button and when I click on it, depending on the settings, can play a sound or two sounds (or 3 or 4..) in the order.

    I stated my MediaPlayer:

    MediaPlayer {}

    ID: mPlayer

    },

    Then in my code, I would dynamically set the SourceUrl:

    if (SomeApp. getValueFor ("Option 1", "false") == 'true') {}

    mPlayer. setSourceUrl (item.someSound)

    mPlayer. play ()

    if (SomeApp.getValueFor ("Option 2", "false") is 'true') {

    mPlayer.setSourceUrl (item.anotherSound)

    mPlayer.play)

    }

    .......

    What happens now, it's the 2nd sound replaces the first sound.  I need some kind of break or report the arrival of first sound entered the 2nd sound comes...

    Thank you

    Pseudocode to show the idea:

    Create the QList mSoundsToPlay;

    then add the sound to play when do:

    if (mSoundsToPlay.isEmpty())
    {
      mSoundsToPlay.push_back(soundName);
      ...start playing soundName...
    }
    else
    {
      mSoundsToPlay.push_back(soundName);
    }

    in playbackCompleted() Manager:

    mSoundsToPlay.pop_front();
    if (!mSoundsToPlay.isEmpty())
    {
      ...play next sound from mSoundsToPlay.front()...
    }
