Used Canon EOS 40 d 10.1 MP Digital SLR Camera body or new Canon EOS Rebel T3

Who is a better camera? Used camera Canon EOS 40 d DSLR Body 10.1MP or new Canon EOS Rebel T3 12.2 MP CMOS Digital SLR digital (box)

You are a pixel-peeper?

If this isn't the case, I doubt that you can see the difference. I guess that's what you're talking about since you did mention the MP of each. The MP of a camera is not the single assessment point as the 40 d is a fine camera better than a rebel.

The 40 d leans more towards the pro series cameras and the Rebel T3 is more towards the amateur line. IMHO, as always.

  • Is there a possible way to use my EOS Rebel XT EOS Utility?

Okay, so I want to use my camera for Digital Rebel XT EOS Utility. In case you are wondering EOS Utility is used to take a picture with the camera simply by clicking a button on the computer. Its used to make pictures that I take are not fragile. Anyway, there is no link for the camera and when I go to the home page of cameras and go to software, there is no download link for EOS Utility for my camera. Is there a way I can still use it on my Digital Rebel XT camera? Let me know thanks

Better that I can see that the answer is no, you can not use EU to attach. There is no compatible version.

  • Continue to use MS Word 2003 instead of the Word 2007 that came with my new operating system (Windows Vista)

I have Windows Vista OS with Word 2007 (bougth with my new machine).  Previously, I have Windows XP with Windows 2003.  I would like to keep Word 2003 and which have to be my default program.  How can I do this?  I have still my Windows XP disc - should I reinstall?  What are the risks/disadvantages to return to Windows XP?  Thank you.

  • Canon EOS Rebel II value?

I'm having a lot of trouble finding my camera on the internet anywhere. I want to sell online but don't have an idea of what a fair price. With it, I have a unopned new duracel battery, a can of unopned 35mm film of York. There is no lens, but the camera itself is in excellent conditon. I can't find a model number, just a reference number? stamped on the bottom.

    Here's what I know:

It says Canon EOS Rebel on the front and the front corner, there's the Roman numeral II (two).

On the bottom it says Canon Inc.   Made in Taiwan 5216757 that's all.

I'm totally confused, please help so that I can sell this product at a fair price to someone who will get use out of it! Thank you!

P.S. I can post pictures using html if this will help

    Hello, CraigslistCam!

Take a look at this link

In the list on the bottom, it shows the Rebel II as one of the 'alias' of this same organization (EOS REBEL II [A] / EOS 1000 N [E]: without QD and function of flash).

    We hope this helps!

  • can I know the reason for the change of color in the image - canon EOS rebel T5

Hi, I am using canon EOS rebel T5... Recently whenver I clicked on an image using this device, I get color variation in the image that I've highlighted in the image below... It's because of the lens or the camera settings... Pls help me to get a clear picture

What are compression of camera settings, for example, I use fat with Fine quality

This 478KO scares me, it's really small for a 4000 x 2000 image. You use too much jpeg compression which is ruining the image. You need to set a level of quality JPEG 9 or 10 - it will result in larger images, but as you can see, throw the data has detracted from your images.

If you want to send pictures, decide first the smaller number of pixels you can hang out with and then use just enough of JPEG compression to get the size you want.

  • My older EOS Rebel is dead. I just got back from canon, they said that they could not repair becau

Canon cannot repair the camera because the lifetime has expired. Now what?

It's understandable.  At some point they stop making parts for gear very old and will run finally out of these parts.

Did tell you about the Canon loyalty program?

Don't throw away this broken device!  Offers in the change of loyalty on a regular basis, they do not post details on the Internet, but if you call Canon, they can tell you about the program and all current offers available.

They will allow you to trade in your non-working for a newer camera (which may be a camera refurbished - but remember that same refurb Canon come with the same 1 year warranty which would have a new camera).

The program allows you to get a newer model of the camera for significantly less than it would cost to buy otherwise.

.. .and of course... these new cameras will have greatly improved performance.  ISO in DSLRs performance have improved considerably over the years.  You will enjoy probably have quite a camera body more up-to-date.

The new bodies use all the same EOS lenses - so no worries about the compatibility of the goal.

  • The lens Canon Macro 60 mm f2.8 fits my Canon EOS Rebel SL1?

The lens Canon Macro 60 mm f2.8 work on my Canon EOS Rebel SL1?

    Yes.  It's a lens EF - S (EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro USM lens)

The SL1 Rebel can use almost any lens Canon EOS... regardless of EF-S vs EF.  He can even use the TS-E and MP-E lenses.

Lenses which does not take your camera are the "EF - M" lenses (there are two of them at last I checked).  Those who are made to the 'mirrorless' body of Canon, which is not sold in North America.

I am trying to open raw photos and it does not work I have 6 suites and photos taken on a Canon EOS Rebel SL1 creative

    Hi irod,.

    Greetings.

    • Latest version of camera raw for CS 6 is 9.1
    • Check now if your camera is to 9.1 or higher
    • If requires 9.2 or later, then you should switch to PS CC or use the dng converter
    • But if it is support less 9.1 then use this link to install camera aw 9.1 and then try to open pictures
    • If still you have questions then please paste a screenshot of the issue in more detail.

  • Is there an update to Camera Raw for PES 11 for my new Canon EOS Rebel T6i (750D) available, yet?

Is there an update to Camera Raw for PES 11 for my new Canon EOS Rebel T6i (750D) available, yet?

Your device is too recent to run on PSE11. You must upgrade to PSE13, then use the menu help/update to be able to use the version 9 of the cab.

If you don't want to upgrade, you can use Adobe's DNG Converter for free. See this faq:

FAQ: Photoshop Elements will work with my camera, or why does not open my raw files?

This stand-alone program can convert all of a folder of raw files to DNG PSE11 can read and modify.

Download link in the article above.

  • How can I add the Raw for the Canon EOS Rebel T6s file 5 Lightroom

You want to know if there is a way to add the RAW file for the new Canon EOS Rebel T6s format to my desktop Mac version 5 of Lightroom.  All I found was the plugin cameraRaw 9 for Lightroom 6 that takes in charge of my camera. This does not work after that I have download and run the installation

    Thank you

You will need to convert RAW to DNG for use in LR 5. Or you can go to LR 6. CameraRaw plugin is not relevant to LR. This is for Photoshop.

  • Using Canon PowerShot SD500 with Photo

Does anyone have an idea how I can use my camera Canon PowerShot SD500 a little dated with El Capitan Photo? This camera is not on the list of the compatible, but I wasn't on the purchase of a new camera immediately. This camera is not on the list of those compatible. Thank you.

You should be able to use the mini-USB to USB cable provided with the camera to connect it to your Mac. If Photos does not start by itself, you can start it manually, check the sidebar on the view menu, and select the camera in the sidebar. You should be presented with a screen to import. Click Import all.

  • Canon EOS Rebel T3 camera

I have a Canon EOS Rebel T3 camera. I have lost my inner cover to the lens. is there any place I can buy one. I refer to the screw on the one covering the lens inside after the withdrawal of the largest lens. It's hard to explain in typing so I hope you understand that I do not speak of. I inserted a photo of what part I mean. If you see where hand TI score, well there is a CAP that screws on to protect the lens inside. I need this screw on the lid.

I pray that you can tell me where I can find a. I need it as soon as possible. I'm going on vacation Dec. 19th and need a recovery. Thank you
