Using a Google search engine on the Web site

I have a Google search on a Web site, that I'm working on.

For some reason, it works on all pages, except the online store.

Check out www.scomputing.com and then try to use the search engine in the 'shop '.

I copied and pasted the coding of the index page to the online store and it still does not work.

Am I missing something?

To add to the response of Brégent, 77 of the line of your T3 index file.

Results.html' id ="CST-search-box" > ".

Replace:

Results.html' id ="CST-search-box" > ".

Another solution - make another copy of results.html and place it in the folder with all the files CSS and JS support q3 and keep line 77 "such what."

  • How do to block the Google search engine returns the results of the advertising?

I use currently Google as my search engine, and whenever I use it I get a rash of crap advertising unwanted at the head (top) of the search results. I know that I can update my preferences 'interests' in Google for 'target' ads, but I want to get rid of these pesky nuisances altogether.

Anyone got any suggestions outside of switch to a different search engine?

    Thank you

Adblock Plus removes these ads. However, you must open its settings and both make sure that you are subscribed to a filter (simple list, that's what I use) and uncheck the "allow non intrusive advertisements.

How can I do that when I search with my address bar he ALWAYS uses that Google, no matter which search engine is selected in the search bar? It used to be like that, but a recent update of Firefox it changed. • Using CF to save Images for the Web site on Local hard drive

I would create a code to automatically download and save on my hard drive, once their names are returned from a query of database of jpeg images. Is it possible to do using CFMX 7?

For example, here are the steps that I needed to have done:

    1. go to the specific url for example. http://website.com
2 query a database to get a list of the names of image such as image1.jpg, image2.jpg, image3.jpg
3 copy the images from the site (since I know the root of the directory where the images are stored) on a local hard drive.

I don't have ftp access on the site, just a list of names of the image. Users will have windows xp as the operating system. Because there will be more than 100 images, I don't want to have users asked to record the images every time.

In fact, I was able to create a work-around. I created a page that dynamically displays all the images that are returned in the query. These images were then automatically placed in the Cache of IE were I managed to consume them. Thanks for the other option, if!

  • In the google search engine lack of research (and other) bar

A number of search engines have disappeared. I guess I can add those that I added in the past, but Google is missing and I don't know how to add.

Try to restore default search engines by selecting "Manage search engines" in the drop-down list beside the search on the address and then bar by clicking on "Restore Defaults", it will attempt to restore the default value of Google search engine to the list. You should now be able to choose Google as search engine, even if it can remove those that you added previously.

There is a hidden preference that you can edit to make it use Browse of Google search of name that has been used in Firefox 3.6

    1. Type of topic: config in the address bar and press on enter
    2. Accept the warning message that appears, you will be taken to a list of preferences
    3. Locate the preference keyword. URL, double-click it and change its value on the link below

    http://www.Google.com/search?ie=UTF-8 & oe = UTF - 8 & SourceId = navclient & gfns = 1 & q =

If after changing the preference it is still using Yahoo, there will be an add-on that is the cause. Check for modules of Yahoo and if not necessary to uninstall them. This looks like a problem possibly caused by malicious software on your pc. Please go to firefox > addons > extensions and remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, the things that you have not installed intentionally, I don't know what purpose they serve, etc.). also, go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and run a full scan of your system with the security software you have in place and various other tools such as the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.

  • New tab uses Yahoo as search engine - how to use Google?

I changed my default Google search engine; I use version 35. When I opened a new tab and type in the search I get results in a Yahoo Search page. How can I change this so that Google is the default search for the new tab search engine.

Thank you someone to help with this.

You probably have some adware or toolbar that has changed the page used for a newtab.

The addon installs, modifies settings and to uninstall. But you may need to remove the adware or which could change the settings again.
BUT Note If you are using Firefox (American) addon resets to Yahoo as en-US search engine and you will need to manually select the Google later.

Whatever the selected search engine to be used for the search toolbar must be used in other research including the address bar Firefox and the new tab.

  • use a search engine in the address bar

    Hello

for one or two years, firefox has had an update to change the search parameters.
Before that happened, we used to use the address bar of google-search and use of the search bar for individual searches like imdb or in some cases use of keywoards for individual research via the address bar. The 'new' - versions of firefox (I guess it was the update 23 FF and all the following versions) replaces the browser.search.defaultsearchengine whenever you change the engine in the search bar. In this way, the two bars of Act quite the same when it comes down to research. It took some time for the (German) supportpages update to this new behavior, but now that this has happened, there is still no clue how to change it back to the old settings, where the search bar is the search and address bar only led to a search via google, when it was necessary.
So how can pick us up with a search engine in the adressbar again without going through the embarrassment of having to choose the search bar engine?
I couldn't find useful information or plugins and 'Smart search' and 'Keywords' are no option for us.

I would really appreciate help with this.

    Thanks in advance
