  As you don't declare that you tried, I am unable to say where you went wrong. Here is a method to promote the accounts without going through the various GUI screens:
  1 restart in SafeMode with network.
  2. log on as an administrator.
  3. click on start.
  4. type the three letters cmd in the search box.
  5. press on Ctrl + Shift + Enter
  6. click on "run as Administrator".
  7. type the following commands and press ENTER after each:
  NET user
  (This will show you all existing accounts)
  net localgroup administrators 'xxxx '.
  (This will encourage user xxxx to Administrator status. Replace xxxx with the correct name account).

  • Blank tab = > subject: empty
  • Built-in Firefox homepage = > topic: welcome
  • Any other page = > full URL of the page

  Then tab or click this form field and you can test using Ctrl + t.

  Custom new tab

  It is easy to enter your favourite homepage address. If you check either of the boxes, the expansion will set the focus in the page as well, for example, the cursor will be in the Google search box. (See third screenshot attached). I had to leave Firefox and start it up again before new custom tab started working, but this may have been due to tests so many extensions back to back.

  I can assure you that I unchecked the "always show icons, never thumbnails" option in the Folder Options under control panel (photo).

  I tried new mouse on my computer, and now my computer will not recognize the original mouse as a Microsoft mouse. The keyboard and the mouse still work, but I can't change the buttons of the mouse for left-handed people my family before I had no problem doing this.   Just a comment in passing.  You can only change the region 5 times, so when you did this last change it won't let you make another.  Be sure to choose the correct region.
