  I am trying to use an image that I have (photo) as a fill. I copied on my workspace, added to the color chart, but when I fill the area to a new object, the image is tiled. Is it possible that I can fill the area unless it is tiled?

  Well, you use this clipping paths, no model fills. You simply take the wrong approach. You do not 'fill' objects, you tell the program what parts to hide / not print. This is how it works. Then place the image on the canvas noramlly, put your paths above it, select the two options, right click and chose to create a clipping mask.

  I installed Photoshop CC 2014.2 (version 2014.2.0), but I am unable to get new scripts to fill pattern to work or even appear in the user interface.   I confirmed that the corresponding presets exist in the 2014 CC Photoshop > Presets > Deco folder:

  

  I tried to reset the Photoshop preferences; and while everything was reset, the missing presets did not always appear.

  I created a character style to set the color for text, color only.  When I apply it to a set of characters, it also changed the font face and size of 36 to 12.  Paragraph styles have the same problem.  If you want it to be 36 points, applying it replaces about half of the desired size.  This is a bug in CS6 (v13 & 13.0.6) and now in the current version 20141014.r.257 on Mac 64-bit both 10.9 and 10.10.

  

  

  

  Thanks, Gaetano, in your instructions, define you the font and size family.  I want my character style to work on any font family and size.  I discovered that the character styles work only as replacements on a paragraph with no other replacement style. Reviews for my average screenshot that I didn't put all information from the police. When you apply a character style to a block of characters having replacements, you get one more on the character style.  By clicking the first icon (arrow), removes all replacements and applies the style of character, which causes the font family and size change noted in my 3rd default screenshot.  Myriad Pro Regular 12pt seems to be the default font and therefore the police that you get when you remove all replacements in order to apply the character style.

  By creating multiple paragraph style and remove all replacements in the text for each, I've been able to apply the character with just the color style.

  In conclusion, character styles are working but cannot be applied to the text block that contains the default text or a style paragraph and no substitutions.

  You should be able to use for a CD cover, as long as the distribution does not exceed 500 000. Good idea to add a photo with all other credit and credit. You could always get the extended license for $79 and be safe.

  The license is once again because the image is only allowed by the customer. For example if I was a web designer and I used a licensed image for a website customer and then wanted to use the image in another project for another customer should be a new license for this customer.

  I'm trying to understand the best way to prepare for the recovery of a failure in the drive for a MacBook Pro.

  I do not understand the nuances of the time Machine - I know from personal experience that it is a recovery tool great when your existing drive is intact and you're just trying to restore a file.  But what happens if the drive has a hardware failure and needs to be replaced?

  Is there an advantage to take periodic images of Macintosh HD for quick recovery (and then using the incremental backups Time Machine to catch up to the current position).  Or Time Machine may facilitate a recovery in case of failure of the disc just as easily/quickly that will give it to have a separate image backup?

  YES!.  If you have a clone boot disk, you can either connect it to a MBP or Exchange it with the internal HDD failed and be back in business quickly.  Time machine, as good as is, can take several hours to restore your system, depending on the amount of data.

  After a lot of research because my brain would allow, I discovered that I can't let ONE client to use a single image and that if I wanted to do several customers use this same image I have to redownload the image (the license) or a licence.

  My question is: If I had to get a license on an image how many of my clients would be able to use this image even on their Web site? And all the images offer an extended license?

  An extended license, you cannot use the image for the benefit of several clients.  You will need to license for each customer that you want to use the image for the image.

  The Standard license allows you to use the image for a marketing presentation, promotional or internal or the purposes of decoration, so it should be good providing you comply with the license terms and restrictions.

  Permissions, the other is the hardware problem causing slow import and the card cannot be read by your operating system.
