114 the desire: my HP Envy 114 sometimes works, sometimes doesn't work with WIFI - it of maddening! Help!

Hello!  Help

I use an Apple IMac with my desire.  Since the day that I bought it, it is quite tempremental. Sometimes the wifi works, sometimes it doesn't... often I have to go through the procedure of the full wizard and re-install the password of our wifi (which is a mile long, so it's not phone). Wifi works throughout the House and is strong, so is not the issue. the little blue light flashes and turns off right now, and disconnect, restart it, nothing seems to make it work

then, suddenly, if he decides-it can print a page.

It has been 18 months since I bought it and I just want to scream. I have wasted hours and hours of my day coaxing to work!

I've never managed to get the scanner to work, either...

Can someone please help! I use Mac - OSX 10.95 products

I think to have a USB port and attach it and done with this wifi - but what is the point of having this beautiful instrument, if it never works?

is there a problem?  can it be restarted and keep the wifi settings? How stay blue and not turn on and turn off that darn light?

Help!

Hey @janinedigi,

Welcome to the Forum from HP Support. I hope you enjoy your experience here.

I understand that you experience an unstable WiFi connection when you use your HP ENVY 114 e-all-in-one printer.  I would like to help.

When users report this kind of problem, I generally recommend from scratch with the installation program. Namely, start this process of restoring factory default values * of your printer.  Here's how:

* Note that this step resets the setting up your printer wireless, address ePrint and other custom print settings. If you have created a custom address @hpeprint.com it is permanently erased. For more information about custom addresses ePrint, click here.

  • In the front panel of your printer, press Setup key wrench
  • Touch tools
  • Support on restore defaults.

Then fix permissions of the disc on your Mac - click here for instructions.

Once you complete these steps, you will need to re-enable wireless and Web services (if you are a user of ePrint).  Before doing this, click here for extensive troubleshooting and configuration steps for the question says that you are a statement.  Work your way through the Solutions in the order presented.

Please let me know the result of your troubleshooting by responding to this post.  If I helped you to solve the problem, feel free to say "You rock!" by clicking the "Thumbs Up" icon below and by clicking to accept this solution.

Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support.  Have a great day!
