  What I would like most particularly to reproduce is the ability to click on a thumbnail, which would bring the image enlarged, but with the original window remain behind, grayed out. I guess it's something I can do with behaviors, but it doesn't seem to be a behavior that is concerned with that, at least among the behaviors dreamweaver CS 3 comes with. I guess a behavior that would give me the effect I want exists on the dreamweaver Exchange, but I couldn't find one. Can I even assuming I could achieve what I'm looking for using a behavior?

  The effect you're aiming for is one of the known currently in vogue as a viewer.

  There is no Dreamweaver behavior built in for that. You will need to get the 3 third-party solutions such as jQuery.

• Find and replace using behaviors

  I used search and replace in CS3 to add HTML code that includes a behavior of DW. The behavior opens a popup message when clicked.
  
  Find and replace works and adding the behavior code correctly. However, when I save the page and then click on the link to test the behavior, the popup does not appear.
  
  The only way I can get the behavior to work properly must complete the find and replace, double-click to open the behavior of the Tag group, close the behavior and then save the page again.

• Use of contribute

  I am a beginner in a school and we have Studio 8. I tried to Dreamweaver and contribute, but when I go on tet connection in the places th Panel it says there is no files in the folder. I know that the address is working because I can test with the dreamweaver F12 key. I have this in the field "' http://localhost/wmsV3/ ' the result is 'impossible to find a page to the URL'." I tried with html and shtml. I can oly guess I have the wrong address BUT D8 put it there!
  
  The other question I have is Contribute can be used on his own knowledge of D8?

  When you click F12 in dreamweaver you get a view of the file system, for example, I get file:///D:/DW%20Websites/MyWebbie/index.html.

  If you want that it is directly linked to a URL like http://localhost/wmsV3/ , then you will need to set up a web server at localhost/wmsV3 to the directory on your file system.

  Contribute does not dreamweaver but you do not have to code the html to the top in a text editor any and define the boxes on the page by using the tags contributing knows. IE create a contribute template: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/contribute/articles/contingency_plan_05.html

  BTW, what is the method below?

• Not possible to add behaviors of platforms?

  Hello everyone, I'm Marcus and this is my first post here.

  I have created a platform and want to control the main slider platform using behaviors. But the option 'Add a parameter behavior' is not available in drop the slider and even though it is always possible to add behavior by clicking on the symbol of the gear, "apply to" parameter behavior adding shows 'None' and does not edit them.

  Any thoughts are appreciated.

  You can add behaviors to test platforms. You also shouldn't keyframe a Rig Widget cursor if published at FCPX - any action related to this slider will work in FCPX.

  How to move your 'problem' depends on what you want to do (if that is possible). What you trying to do?

• Working with DW instead of Contribute?

  We * re using DW CS6 and our customers use 6.5 contribute to update the content, and it has been working well for years. BUT Contribute does not work on Windows 10, so what do we do now that a client is upgraded to Win10?

  I'm afraid that the old days of autonomous software such as Contribute are above.  Modern web developers offer their customers a CMS (content management system) - an application server that is accessible from any computer with an internet connection.  Customers can change their site via the CMS portal in line or dash of no matter where they are.

• Models do not update children in Contribute

  As the title explains, the model files, that I update in Dreamweaver will not direct. I use Dreamweaver and Contribute CS5. So that the update is obvious, I have to go to each page in Contribute, the "Edit" page, click on "format > properties of the model > ok" and then publish the change. This seems to update the model, but for this page only. This seems hardly effective, since there are hundreds of pages on this Web site that use only a few models. How can I get these all update automatically as it should?

  The workflow:

  1. change the DW models locally

  2 save the models and leave DW update all child pages locally

  3. Select all the child pages has changed and upload them to the remote server

  4. to connect to the remote server via Contribute, go to the page you want to edit and click on edit and you should be editing the page to date, including any changes made to the model.

  Those are the steps that you follow?

• Can I use Spry tab panels to create a multi page form?

  I am trying to install a multi-page form and failed using PHP Sessions.

  Would it not possible to use the Spry tab panels in DW CS3 and divide the various sections of the form in the panels?  My thought is that the Form around the main tab Div element and the button send at the end of the form.  Would this work?

  If so, is there a way to have a button 'Next' to Active the next tab so that the user can easily tab by each form field and easily go to the next tab to help ease of use?

  But you don't need to use behaviors. Simply type in the link in Code view.

  Moreover, the tabs themselves are a way to browse between panels.

  Your links at the bottom of each panel will be "extra" ways to get around.

• Contribute CS4 takes forever to start

  I recently installed Contribute CS4 and it takes forever to start, if it starts up at all (the small color wheel keeps spinning and spinning). Is this normal (I hope that no.. lol)? If this is not the case, what could be the problem and how can I fix this? Thanks in advance!

  Please try to update to Contribute. You can use bridge to Contribute update. Simply run Bridge and then click on help-> updates. Then, install all updates in Contribute. This should help.

• Contribute and non-files

  I prepare a site using DW8 and contribute 3.11, which has a .shtml page that incorporates a file included (another html page) server-side.
  How Contribute does not find this page to allow the user to change it? They just type in the address?

  It is very useful. Other people told me that the editing files without a "Chief" was a problem in Contribute.
  The stylesheet not related is not a problem for me because it is purely text being modified (if it was, I guess I could use a design-TIME style sheet), although I note the disadvantage that the include files are completely editable by users. The only way around this problem would be to use a separate cms system that would then avoid using Contribute in the first place.
  For me, the problem with Contribute is that it's an exclusive approach - narrow you what people can change to what they can. Other CMS systems (the simplest at least) insert tags to tell what you can change. This seems a much simpler procedure.
  I think that the way forward is to use CMS systems hosted - then I dropped Contribute. I never held onto something that had to be installed on a client computer in any case.

• Cannot remove pieces of contours without changing their shape

But I need then to cut a bit of the way. for example to shorten two verticle lines in order to meet the clear gray shape in the middle). I try to use the pathfinder (draw a shape on the offending line and remove it using the 'less front') but this makes all form a full path as in the second example on the left.

  Seeing this, I tried to develop it in order to remove the vertical lines, but the top would then become a gross join instead of a sharp point.

  I also tried to use the gum, but what makes high evil turn.

  I want to change the line without the join goes haywire. I know it's going to be very simple, but I can't work on the answer.

  Is it possible to transform what was once a path in just a form of basis vectors that works on the pathfinder?

  

  Hi, once again.

  Here's a little more information. There are several ways to do your job. Here is a simple way to create a mirror image of right.

  Create a path and copy it. Let the selected copy. In the dialog box change, ICT transformation such benchmark indicated below (highlighted). Click Flip Horizontal.

  

  Here is the result. Endpoints are automatically perfectly aligned, but did not join.

  

  Drag the white arrow to select the two points. Join the selected angle (Ctrl + J).  The result is lower.

  

  To shorten the bottom, select shape corners (highlighted) and use the arrow to the top-keys (or drag with SHIFT pressed) to put them where you want.

  

  At this point, do what Jacob has suggested and adjust the point taste the angle limit.

  Regarding your bottom-right image, which looks like mutiple paths or more than one anchor to the upper joint.

  I agree. Try to align endpoints of edges can be difficult to do it manually. I suspect that your strokes are hide a slight delay. Leading to unexpected behavior when you join them. The above procedure will be elimate that. And using Ctrl + will contribute anyway.

  For future use, the fastest way I know not to remove a segment of a closed path is to click anywhere on the segment with the Add Anchor Point tool (shortcut "+") and press DELETE.

• Missing directory path

• Not able to move the navigation toolbar buttons.

  Buttons toolbar navigation like the previous, next, Reload, Stop, home etc. are spread over the entire toolbar. Earlier, they used to be contributed. • Siri now unable to identify songs on iPhone 6 after recent iOS updated

  I use my iPhone to listen to music while I switch, using the bluetooth connection.  Been doing this for years and it's very convenient.   While a song is being played, I could hold the home button to launch Siri and ask, "what song is this?  Siri told me the name of the song and the artist.  Big star and stop me from trying to read the screen of the phone while driving.  After the recent update, Siri now says: "Sorry, I can't identify the music when you're connected to Bluetooth."   Why not?? He worked for several years and now suddenly stopped working after the recent update.  Please fix this!

  I have the same problem and I haven't even installed SHAZAM.  When it was installed, I had this problem so I removed the Shazam application. Now after the last updated iOS to level, Siri "locally plays" identification of song has stopped working again. SHAZAM app is not yet installed, but Siri has lost a lot of use to me.

  IT seems trivial to check to see if the music player plays music and report what he is playing. If the music player is not in the list, then listen to external sounds to identify what's playing.

  The current approach fails all sorts of criteria of respect for the user: it's unexpected behavior, it is not easy to use and it is not an intuitive feature. It is also an unnecessary restriction of very useful behavior. I rarely use the Siri song identification function for something else.
