Using Forms Builder 11 with CCP?

Hi guys,.

I would like to test how to use CCP inside my Forms Builder, I found some information on google, but all I found is for the Web Interface, JDev or developer of forms.

And if I try to import oracle.forms into my java project, the import cannot be resolved.

Should I install Java importer? http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/forms/javaimporter-130505.PDF

This document talks about forms developer, it is the same thing as Forms Builder?

Thanks for your help.

OK, you want to make/build Java code?

I do not know Eclipse, but what I can tell, is that you must add the file /forms/java/frmall.jar for libraries to the project.

  • Problems connecting to 10g DB with the form builder

    Hey!
    I'm down low, and I am a student of ICT of the low countries. I am currently working on an assignment I need to build forms.

    Now, I installed Oracle 10 g DB Express edition, but I can't seem to connect to my DB. I think it's a naming problem, but I don't know what the name could be except "XE" because that's what he says in "Home > Administration > on the database ' NAME: XE :)

    While trying to create a form master / detail (with the wizard of data block), I was required to connect to the DB once I clicked on browse to the Table or view. I entered my login and password and registrant "XE" as database. I got the following error: "ORA-12154: TNS: could not resolve the connect identifier specified." Now I guess it's a problem with my name in the database because I tried to run the DB, but he pointed out that it was already running. Any ideas?

    I'm kind new to work with databases in this way and this assignment should be made as soon as possible - and my knowledge of Oracle Forms leaves to be desired in general - so any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance,

    Assuming Forms version 10 g, in the database field enter ""/xe "."

  • JavaBeans and oracle form builder

    Hello world
    I want to learn more about the oracle java library especially frmall.jar, I want to learn more about interactivity with the form builder and java, I searched on the internet and saw some very simple examples.
    any body know where I can download a reference on oracle form builder and java book?
    Thank you

    It is not a huge amount of documentation on that, but there are some.

    One of the best sites non-Oracle Forms Java Bean and pluggable Java components is: Oracle Forms PJCs/Java Beans

    Hope this helps,

  • How to use the Muse Widgets with Dreamweaver presentations

    I've been building websites with Dreamweaver for years

    -are particularly interested in some of the Widgets Muse and you're wondering how to integrate to existing sites built with DW?

    Please notify

    WillzShire

    Although it is possible to export the model Muse in Dreamweaver, I would advise not to do. At this stage of his development, Muse is very suited for the HTML/CSS illiterate. But once you want to create interactivity as a contact form, you will need to encode the file using the likes of Dreamweaver. Once you have worked on the file in Dreamweaver, you cannot return to the use of Muse for changes.

    With the foregoing in mind, if you have a knowledge of HTML/CSS, there should be no reason to use the Muse; all of the widgets used in Muse are available for Dreamweaver, but in another format.

  • 'The applet bad class name' exception when you try to save functional forms/EBS test with Oracle Open Script 12.2.0.1 in JRE 1.6.0_45

    Hello

    I have a problem when you try to save functional forms/EBS test with OpenScript in 12.2.0.1 and also 12.1.0.2 version.

    The problem has been verified in two environments:

    1. Windows XP 32-bit, Internet Explorer 7, 1.6.0_45 JRE.

    2. Windows 7 32 bit, Internet Explorer 8, 1.6.0_45 JRE.

    The exception that I can see in the Java Console is:

    I think that I already tried all possible combinations with options and preferences of OpenScript.

    I also reinstalled several times to JRE.

    What is interesting is that everything works fine when I use the 1.6.0_38 JRE. However, all versions up to it give me the above exception.

    Could you please give me some advice what I can do or check? Maybe you can provide me with some information about the things that have changed in JRE 1.6 update 38 which can affect the load java applets by OpenScript?

    Everything I could find in the release notes was that some security problems have been repaired.

    Thanks in advance for any help.

    Because of security changes introduced in JRE, use NO build longer than 38 for JRE 6 (1.6.0_38) and does not exceed the 11 for JRE (1.7.0_11) 7.

    I think you're just double click on the deployer of Exception and not running the same command prompt. Below is the syntax that we use everything using the deployer of Exception on your machine (s).

  • FRM-10256: user is not allowed to run the Menu form builder

    Hello world
    I created a menu which I changed to use the roles so that each user uses his credentials to connect. I attributed all of the roles of each option on my menu, but when I use one of the users I get error FRM-10256. I try using the same user, but with the user name and the password on the target of the shortcut menu and works pretty well, but if I delete the user name and password, then I get the error. I use Forms 6i and Oracle database 10g.

    Then just choose the tab Tools-Preferences-Access option will give me an option to ask users to type their credentials

    No Forms Builder users to run applications. They call the compiled version of the form (fmx file, assuming you run Forms 6i in client/server mode).
    When they run a form, the user will be asked automatically a user name and password. This is what a user names a shape:

    ifrun60.exe Module=myform.fmx

    Specifies whether to open and save modules in the file system or to the database.

    Use the file system, not the database.

  • need username and password for form builder 6i

    I downloaded the zip file of form builder 6i. But what is the name of user name, password, and database? IAM unable to connect to my database. I tried with scott, Tiger and my tns entry in the field of database as well as with the system/admin also... I got this error... "ORA 12154.TNS could not resolve service name". Thanks for giving me the username, password and the name of the database...

    "ORA 12154.TNS could not resolve service name".

    This isn't a matter of user name / it's a configuration problem.

    Do you have what database (and version) installed? Did you run the Net Assistent Configuration to configure your SQLNET. ORA and TNSNAMES. ORA files? Are you able to connect to the database using SQL * more? If so, copy the files sqlnet.ora and tnsnames.ora from your database directory in your repertoire of forms of Oracle (ORACLE of HOME%\Network\Admin %).

    How to get running with WebUtil 1.06 included with Oracle Developer Suite 10.1.2.0.2 on a win32 platform
    Solution
    Assuming a new 'Complete' installation of Oracle Developer Suite 10.1.2.0.2,
    Here are the steps to get a shape of small test running, using WebUtil 1.06.

    Note: Oracle_Home is used as an alias for your real oDS ORACLE_HOME.
    Feel free to copy this note to a text editor and do a find/replace on
    Oracle_Home with your real value (no slash). Then, it is easy to
    copy and paste the actual orders to be run from the copy of the memo.

    (* 1) * download http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/jacob-project/jacob_18.zip
    and extract to a temporary staging area. Do not attempt to use 1.7 or 1.9.

    (* 2) * copy or move jacob.jar and jacob.dll
    C:\webutile is the folder where you extracted Jacob and ends in ...\jacob_18
    CD C:\webutile
    Copy jacob.jar Oracle_Home\forms\java\.
    Copy jacob.dll Oracle_Home\forms\webutil\.
    Staging of Jacob is no longer needed and can be deleted.

    (* 3) * sign frmwebutil.jar and jacob.jar
    Open a DOS command prompt.
    Add Oracle_Home\jdk\bin in the path:
    set PATH=Oracle_Home\jdk\bin;%PATH%
    Sign files and check the result of success:
    Oracle_Home\forms\webutil\sign_webutil Oracle_Home\forms\java\frmwebutil.jar
    Oracle_Home\forms\webutil\sign_webutil Oracle_Home\forms\java\jacob.jar

    (* 4) * If you already have a pattern in your RDBMS that contains stored WebUtil code,.
    You can skip this step. Otherwise,.
    Create a schema for the stored code WebUtil and privileges to
    Sign in and create a stored package. Name of the schema "WEBUTIL" is recommended
    for no reason other than consistency based on users.
    Open Oracle_Home\forms\create_webutil_db.sql in a text editor and remove or comment
    the declaration of EXIT, in order to see if the objects have been created witout
    errors.
    Launch SQL * more like SYSTEM and the issue:
    Webutil IDENTIFIED BY password CREATE a USER
    DEFAULT TABLESPACE users
    TEMPORARY TABLESPACE temp;
    /
    GRANT CONNECT, CREATE PROCEDURE, CREATE SYNONYM TO webutil PUBLIC;
    /

    CONNECT webutil/webutil@rcci
    @Oracle_Home\forms\create_webutil_db.sql
    -Inspect SQL * Plus output for errors, and then
    CREATE a PUBLIC SYNONYM webutil_db FOR webutil.webutil_db;
    /

    Reconnect as SYSTEM and the question:
    Grant execute on webutil_db to public;

    /

    (* 5) * Edit Oracle_Home\forms\server\default.env and add Oracle_Home\jdk\jre\lib\rt.jar
    to the CLASSPATH entry.

    (* 6) * add edit Oracle_Home\forms\server\formsweb.cfg default insde:
    archive_jini = frmall_jinit.jar, frmwebutil.jar, Jacob.jar
    Archive = frmall.jar
    also add:
    webutil
    WebUtilLogging = off

    Archive = frmwebutil.jar, f90all.jar
    lookAndFeel = oracle

    (* 7) * Oracle_Home\forms\server\webutil.cfg edit and add:
    Transfer.Database.Enabled = True
    Transfer.appsrv.Enabled = True

    (* 8) * start the OC4J instance

    (* 9) * start Forms Builder and connect to a schema in the RDBMS used in step (4).
    Webutil.PLL open, make a 'compile ALL' (shift-control-K) and generate PLX (Ctrl-T).
    It is important to generate the PLX, in order to avoid the FRM-40039 indicated in Note 303682.1
    If the PLX is not generated, the library Webutil.pll must be fixed with
    path information full access to all who wish to make use of WebUtil. This is NOT recommended.

    (* 10) * create a new WBF.
    Open Webutil.olb and subclass (not copy) the Webutil opposes the shape.
    There is no need to subclass the WebutilConfig object.
    Attach the Webutil.pll library and remove the path.
    Add a logon trigger IT with code
    NULL;
    to avoid having to connect to a RDBMS (optional).
    Create a new button on a new canvas, with the code
    show_webutil_information (TRUE);
    in a trigger WHEN BUTTON PRESSED.
    Compile the FMB to FMX, after doing a compilation-All (shift-control-K).

    (* 11) * under Edit-> preferences-> Runtime in the form designer, click the "Reset to Default" If
    the "Application Server URL" is empty.
    Then add '? config = webutil' at the end, if you end up with a URL of the form
    : http://application-tier server: port/forms/frmservlet? config = webutil

    (* 12) * run your form

    Note: If you want to use Jacob and you can configure jacob too, if you follow the above mentioned instructions.
