• Using images in the custom Signature appearances

  Dear all,

  I'm looking to use our company logo as part of a custom in a signature appearance.

  When you use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC to create a custom appearance, I selects the option to use an imported graphic, and then click to import graphic files...

  The file picker account however the possibility to open a PDF file to use as an image in the logo. If it is possible for us to convert our image files to PDF format and import it like this, it's a bit complicated.  If I remember the older versions of Adobe Reader, it was possible to import logos that were in different formats (png, JPEG, BMP etc..)

  May I ask if there are plans to support the importer of images in formats other than PDF format?

  Hi Graham,

  Yes, you can use one of these formats file such as png, JPEG, BMP, etc, but you will have to choose the file format while browsing it so that it gets displayed for selection. Please refer to the screenshot.

  A lot of tutorials I get their images by integration practice at phone apps and put these images in the assets folder.

  I wonder - is it not OK to just use pictures and symbols in your Flash Pro library?

  I'm not referring to splashscreens and icons - rather the images that make up the functionality of the application.

  I thought that maybe something to do with providing many images for res' screen is different, but I plan on 640 x 960 and help design...

  Yes, it's ok and other than the possible benefits of Organization (and a slight delay when loading), there is no advantage using imported bitmaps vs. loading.

• Change the image on stage using images of the library

  I'm a newbie on Flash (with too much experience of Director) so I confused me.
  
  I have a dozen jpgs in the library, and I need to spend that one is on stage at any time via an actionscript.
  
  I learned how to do this with using loadMovie external jpg images, but cannot find a way to do the same thing when the images are inside the library.

  you will need to convert the images to the symbols, so, you can give them a link name... then use attachMovie to attach to the scene.

  out of the box, UT bed all it's files from /i/themes/theme_42/1.0/ as specified in the attribute "file prefix. If you download any additional files (which are stored in the database), you must reference them with #THEME_DB_IMAGES # tell APEX that it should not read from the file system and on the contrary always read from the DB repository.

  I have a problem with the newsletter I created it looks beautiful in dreamweaver and browser, but once I try to send by e-mail the images are broken. Can anyone help?

  If you use images in your newsletter, you will need to download the images to a Web server that you have access to. You will then have Absolute link the in your document by e-mail. "The link would be something like this: http://www.yourdomain.com/newsletter/images/myimage.jpg" width = "550" height = "170" alt = "Alt Description here" >

  If you think you can just insert them in your newsletter, and then copy and paste the HTML code, it doesn't work like that. Your images are broken because they aren't there for the newsletter access.

  My client would like to dynamic images up to 200 photos to my forms. It works very well. However, when I add images up to 35 images. I could not add images to shape more. Then I save data on the form. All the images and the data entered on the form are missing. I don't know why.

  If I add only 10 images - I can record data and images on the form. 15456 KB is the size of the pdf.  I was unable to add more photos or data on the form.

  There may be a problem the size of the pdf? How big can make a limited dynamic pdf?

  Can save us the information and images as much as we want?

  I spent two weeks to work and trying to figure out this problem. However, it is not successful.

  We create several systems online help for a series of Web-based applications and we use RoboHelp HTML 7. Currently, content in our support systems is essentially text - only descriptions and step by step instructions, we have a few images like logos and icons, but the majority is text.

  We are looking to makeover / the centralization of our process by including all the screen captures in the help system. However, concern has been raised regarding the addition of a lot of impact image files will be the speed and functionality of the help system.

  I use images, all the time. I've never known break my support system. And I used to have a TON of them. (I documented a lot of material - do you gobs and gobs of photographic images of various materials in different "pose").

  Of course, images likely to cause the overall size of the system helps inflate, but this should be a big problem.

  Today, I tend to use exclusively. PNG format for all my images.

  If you need to make a subject appear to be slim, you can drag the images inside drop-down hotspots DHTML (Dynamic HTML). That way they won't be visible unless the user really wants to see them.

• Broken links (image) in the electronic newsletter

  Hi I created a newsletter in British Colombia, using online Email marketing tools to be emailed to customers, but when I go to test that email (sent to my personal gmail account) the image has a broken link.

  I understand that the image must be a direct link, IE "www.yoursite.com/images/picture01.jpg" but I don't have a website to put this image.

  I assumed that by uploading the image in British Colombia (via insert image > IMAGE MANAGER > download files) my image has been stored somewhere in the Adobe "BC Cloud" thus, so the image could be drawn from this source automatically (READ: as if by magic, through the cloud system Adobe). If this is not the case, how can I find the exact address to my root of the image so that I can paste this address into the source image dialog box?

  In addition, I accidentally downloaded my image in the dialog manager image to the root folder and should be placed in the "images" folder, how do I move this image to this folder? (obviously drop and drag does not for me)

  The actual message means you need to move the mounted image - the small icon that is displayed after you double-click the .dmg - and put it in the trash.

  External DVD USB drives are cheap. Usually $20 for a good quality player. Just buy one of these at Best Buy or another store and use it to install Snow Leopard. Then you also have a drive for something else that you have on the disk.

  Try to set a better quality in the view drop-down list top right of the Viewer window.

  I've just upgraded my Aperture library to Photos and spent three weeks to download all my photos on the cloud.  Now that they are on the rise in the cloud, I was wondering if I can use iCloud to host images for posting on internet forums and others?  Many of them will not directly let you download a picture, a link just here where she is already hosted (using the [IMG] tags).  In the past I had used SmugMug for this, but it seems silly to pay two subscriptions for the pictures of clouds (my library is big enough I'll have to pay Apple a monthly fee for additional storage space).

  Shared albums use a different part of your library to iCloud iCloud. The storage of shared photos does not count against your iCloud subscription, but it is limited, see: iCloud: My Photo Stream and iCloud Photo Sharing limit

  Empty iPhoto trash removes only the versions in the trash, not the versions that you still have in your events.
