  If that AVCHD you can probably import directly into iMovie, no need for converters either.

  I found my answer!  Director of HP has been replaced by the HP solutions Center - which I installed it and it works.  However, I prefer the interface on the HP Director than the Solution Center.

  You can open a file and search for files, but you can not search drive user and get list
  of it. Single file - open - browse, this type of dialog box.

These videos have been transferred from VHS to DVD (something that I did in the neck and was able to edit the videos to make them better) but now with my new Setup, when I receive the DVD in my computer to capture and then try to edit it, I get a message that among other things readings : "Unsupported video format". Before, I used Windows XP and Nero Vision and never had a problem of capture or change from a House on a CD or a camcorder DVD.
