Using the API of the IOM tcResultSet

Hello
I'm trying to use the tcResultSet class. Simply using "import Thor.API.tcResultSet;" did not work.
I found the documentation (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B32479_01/doc.903/b32449/chapter1.htm) who says:
Set CLIENT_CLASS = < fully qualified name of your custom class to the client API >.

I'm not sure what value I put here. In fact, I do not know if what I do will help me to access the interface from the result set.
Appreciate any suggestions.
Thank you.

When you perform one of the API which returns a value of type tcResultSet, you can then access this resultset by something like the following:

tcUserOperationsIntf userIntf = (tcUserOperationsIntf) tcUtilityFactory.getUtility ("Thor.API.Operations.tcUserOperationsIntf");
UserHash Hashtable = new Hashtable();
userHash.put ("ID Users.User", );
tcResultSet userSet = userIntf.findUsers (userHash);
for (int i = 0; i)<>
userSet.goToRow (i);
userSet.getStringValue ("the Users.First name");
userSet.getStringValue ("the Users.Last name");
}

You will need java experience to do this kind of things.

    Thank you
    PT

    When you're in approvals, there is no form of process data. Process form data would come only when approvals are completed. If you want to read data from the child form of the DataSet (i.e. the form object as in OIM9.x) you can use the RequestService on the id of the request and read the data. Or another approach would be to the child the dataset data value in the payload of the request and read the XML payload in the composite.
    Let me know if you need more information about the second approach. As for the first approach, search through the forums here and you should find my previous posting on how to reach child dataset values using the ask service API.

    You can do it in both directions.
    1. you can use adapter pre-population.
    2. you can use the API.

  • IOM Login authentication fails when the IOM API call

    Hello

    We have a small custom application written to make the update of some attributes of the user on OIM. This app works great on the development system, as well as the test system. The test system is a single instance, while IOM in a production environment is clustered. Quick response will be very useful.

  • How to get the IOM Director of resources in the SOA

    Hi Experts,

    I use IAM_11.1.2.1.0 and SOASuite_11.1.1.6.0, I develop a Composite of SOA, have first approved is Manager of lime and second approves is Administrator of the resource. My problem is that I can't load form to the administrator of the resource role.

    Can someone help me to understand. In R1, we use java code to make this type of operation, in the case of R2 what process. If one that solves this problem please help.

    Thank you

    Tamim Khan

    The resource administrator has nothing to do with the payload.  Usually everything you have found is the name of the resource in the application.  You will need to use the IOM APIs to retrieve information about the resource using the tcObjectOperationsIntf.  It might be especially in the catalog entry although if you completed the approval value.

  • Peovisioning attribute to multiple values in a table SQL using the GTC in detail

    I have a recon trust implemented Sun LDAP for IOM followed to auto put into service at table 'MyUser' to SQL using GTC. It works great so far.

    Now the difficult part of the requirements. I have a multivalued attribute called "AppRoles" associated with Sun's LDAP user. I would like access to this attribute to the 'MyUserToRole' of SQL table (this is a picture of detail table Master "MyUser"). What should be the best approach to this task?

    Thank you!
    Kabi

    For the look-up:
    Once you run Trusted Recon, all your AppRoles are inserted in this research and the different lines for different users. Use the IOM API for this. A basic structure could be as follows:

    Code - Decode
    User01 - Role01, Role02
    User02 - Role02, Role03, Roel04
    User03 - Role08, Role12

    In this way all the roles are stored in this research. Bu the only problem with it could be the change in the look upwards manually which could be tolerated as there are glitches with almost all of the solutions implemented.
    --------------------

    For the field of the UDF
    Yes, their would be a limitation in the text box and it is * 200 * characters. So if that's the case then you should go for the look-up which has no such restrictions at least for your condition.

  • How to use the API of the IOM in Self Service identity custom region

    Hi all

    I developed a custom in Self Service identity using this guide area: customization of the Interface - 11 g Release 2 (11.1.2.1.0)

    Inside this area, I have a simple form that allows the creation of users. This form uses the API of the IOM, in particular the following line:

    UserManager usermgr = Platform.getService(UserManager.class);

    The error I got is:

    < error > < oracle.iam.platform.utils.SpringBeanFactory > < BEA-000000 > < parsin instantiation Spring Bean Factory Failed.IOExceptiong XML document resource path of class [META-INF/iam-spring-config. I use it because I think that I am inside the ISS. For this reason I don't want to use the client method to retrieve the UserManager (which obviously works):

            String ctxFactory = "weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory";
            String serverURL = "t3://" + HOSTNAME + ":" + PORT;

            Hashtable env = new Hashtable();
            env.put(OIMClient.JAVA_NAMING_FACTORY_INITIAL, ctxFactory);
            env.put(OIMClient.JAVA_NAMING_PROVIDER_URL, serverURL);

            OIMClient oimClient = new OIMClient(env);
            try {
                oimClient.login(OIM_USERNAME, OIM_PASSWORD.toCharArray());
            } catch(LoginException e) {
                e.printStackTrace();
            }
            UserManager usermgr = client.getService(UserManager.class);

    It is possible to use the UserManager methods in this case?

    Thanks in advance for your help.
