  Good evening
  I have a question about Oracle database Resource Management (DRM) for Oracle Database 10 g. I had an incident which, in a development/UAT environment (different instances, same box, don't ask), a developer wrote a wrong SQL statement that consumed 99% of the CPU. Currently, there is no limit of resources on two cases of db, and the developers don't want limits. However, my manager wants a method to prevent something like this does not happen. If I use the Oracle database resources management, create a consumer group (called "DevEnv") at 40% CPU usage, what will happen if a user of DevEnv runs a bad SQL statement that normally consumes 90% CPU again?   If you talk about the control of database (http), once to create the DB control repository (which should be on the UNIX server), and then use the URL and the Port number that you learned at the end of the installation to access it from the Windows machine. This should be in the format:

  My application of the CIM team asked DBA to create new function and run it. Function must use the database link for remote database data. So I need to create a new database to their licensing link. Cause we guess we'll experience the performance issue after the user performs this function, or another question and errors may occur. So we want to know when and who use this feature that connects to a remote database through the new database connection in advance. And I also need to know when and which connect to the remote database using this new database link. We have no idea to get this information?  Can anyone recommend how do? Thank you very much.

  Check what business purpose, it will solve.  If the function is so safe, why everyone will use. Only admin people should access.

  All of these additional controls of this kind must be avoided as much as possible to improve the overall performance of the application.

  Amina,

  You have two choices. First choice, that's what you do, but your syntax is off. It should be:

  REPLICAT load6
  Sh@docqvoice_db username, PASSWORD sh
  ASSUMETARGETDEFS
  CARD sh.products, sh.products of the TARGET.

  Second choice is to create a view on the source using the link from the target database and map display just as in:

  REPLICAT load6
  Username, PASSWORD sh
  ASSUMETARGETDEFS
  CARD sh.products, sh.view_on_products of the TARGET.

  because there is no general rule to that: as stated it depends on table and index layout if the optimizer decides to go to index or not.

  I'm working on a BPM application using Oracle BPM 11.1.1.5.0 and JDeveloper 11.1.1.5.0.
  
  In my database, I have two tables, loan and guarantee that are related by a field named employeeID (PK on loan) and FK in warranty.
  Each line can have several lines of guarantee.
  
  At this point, I'm doing an entry form for the user to insert data in the two tables.
  
  I did successfully before with a single table that has no relations.
  
  The way I'm doing here is, after the creation of the database successfully adapter, a type of LoanCollection is created in the types module, which can be used to create business objects and data objects of.
  
  The problem is when I create an object of type loanCollection process data and then create a UI generated automatically on that basis, only the fields in the primary table (the Table of loan) appear in the form.
  On the other hand, if I create a business object based on the LoanSchema, the form for all of the two tables is created automatically (the loan as a form, the guarantee in a table), but then, when I try to access it in the section processing service mission which calls the database adapter, I have no access to such.
  In fact, the only type which can be used in the service task is the process based on the loanCollection data object.
  
  To summorize, I have to use the type of business for my UI object to include all the fields in both tables, so I have to use the data object from the collection process in the transformation of service task dialog box.
  And I can't find a way to map to another.

  Try to follow these steps.

  1. create a new module in your catalogue our BPM project management section
  2. in this new module create 3 Business Objects - (LoanBusinessObject, GuaranteeBusinessObject and GuaranteeArrayBusinessObject)
  3. Add the attributes appropriate to the LoanBusinessObject and the GuaranteeBusinessObject so that they mimic your database tables, then to the GuaranteeArrayBusinessObject add an array of type attribute GuraranteeBusinessObject
  4. now you need to create two process data objects, type loanProcessObject LoanBusinessObject and type guaranteesProcessObject GuaranteeArrayBusinessObject
  5. as inputs to your human task adds the loanProcessObject and guaranteesProcessObject, these should now be available in your data controls and can be used to auto generate the form
  6. in your dbadapter you'll then use XSL Transformation and use for each so that it will write the data to the ready table and all the line items of warranty for the warranty table.

  This laptop may have problems. am scaning now using an ESET online scanner to see what is happening.

  Hey, the people of Teststand.  What is the best way in 2014 Teststand to do this?  I'll implement test DUT 4 in parallel using the model of batch processing.  The test sequence is in two parts.  2 DUT at a time can run part 1.  While 2 DUT are testing part 1, I want to than the other 2 DUT to test of part 2.  Then when they are done part 2, wait for part 1 slots become available and then run part 1.  And these DUT who had run part 1 all first then work part 2.
