  -Exit the creative cloud by clicking the gear icon > select Exit

  -Now go to finder > go > go to folder

  -Then type ~/library/Application support/Adobe

  - Then open the OOBE folder

  -Delete the file Opm.db

  -Now go back a folder > delete OOBE and AAMupdater

  Hi I have a similar problem: I use a Belgian keyboard and the CAPS of SHIFT or alt + tilde do not work for me. I can configure default Hiragana in the locale, but it is not honored - lights in romaji and I have to click the icon pon :-(

  I feel bad: I bought the expensive 'Ultimate' version of Windows to use it for the Japanese language, then I discovered that Microsoft IME is unusable. I can't click an icon all five words, I need the default to work as configured and shortcuts too (and I'm not the only one, a lot of people write Japanese under Windows I guess)

  Research in other forums, this seems to be a known gene since Windows XPand still not been resolved in Windows 7? I hope it's in Windows 8.

  I'm ready to upgrade to 8 or modify registry settings, install additional DLLs or something else, but I feel it too bad if I install a linux to be able to do what I bought Ultimate for :-(((

• Where can I find the window that lets me select special characters as a vowel with an accent or a tilde above it?  Using indesign cs4

  I try to put a few Spanish words in a document and must be able to select vowels with accents or we the n with a tilde over it.  Where can I find this window that lets me select these special characters?

  You can use the glyphs Panel.

• Keyboard Focus & using the Tilde key

  My style of editing frequently involves using the hotkeys (SHIFT 1, 2, 3) to change the interface panels.  However, I've found that the development of offset and following this with the help of the tilde key to maximize the selected pane do not work.  The previously selected Panel always maximizes instead of the just-selected Panel.

  I'm doing something wrong or is - necessary to click with the mouse on the Panel wanted to ensure that, then using the tilde actually maximizes the Panel I want to maximize?

• Tilde key used to turn the model does not work

  I recently got a new mac with cc Adobe installed.

  In general when I want to turn a boss, I simply press the tilde key and manipulate the model, but on this new computer, it does not work. Instead, the entire shape moves, and I'm unable to move the model. Y at - it a setting or something that might have to be adjusted?

• Logic crashes using Alchemy

  Hi guys;

  I can open Alchemy and play the default patch. I noticed that there are no patches in my library.

  When I try to update the logical library hangs.

  When I try to choose something else in Alchemy GUI logic crashes.

  Any thoughts?

  Have you moved all the content of the logic to another drive in the past?

  If so, do you have using aliases?

  If Yes...

  move the contents of the external drive using symlink logic

  Otherwise... Try this...

  Make sure you have a full backup of your system drive job... and then..,.

  Logic Pro X to quit smoking

  Delete the following folder

  ~/Music/audio music Apps / (note this is found in the library user not the library system... where the Tilde (~) at the beginning of the path symbol)

  Empty the trash

  Restart the Mac.

  Launch of Logic Pro X so deleted folder will then be re-created... If it is not automatically re-created do it manually yourself via the finder using exactly the same name... Including caps and spaces as indicated above

  Test...

  Note: You may need to download the essence and Alchemy again using the Sound Library option in the menu bar of LPX...

• Tildes to appear in looking at the pictures on the desktop

  Hi - another quick question... I had a T3i and mostly used the telephoto 55-250, which is 3 1/2 years.  I started noticing when I looked at my pictures on my big screen there was always a 'tilde' darker at the top left of the photo... I never noticed until what I looked at the pictures on the desktop screen, so don't know if that's a problem with the camera or the lens itself.  I have a lens 75-300 also but haven't really checked yet to see if it shows up through a different lens.

  Most of the time, it's "croppable", but not something I want to do, and I also want to make sure that this is not a serious problem.

  What could cause this?  If it IS the LENS, what is the solution?

• search for file names with tilde character

  trying to locate all the file name containing the tilde (~) character. It is obviously special for the search as a search looking for files with this character corresponds to each file. I can't find the mechanism to quote the tilde so that Windows will search for files containing the tildes in name literally.

  You expect to be easy to find the answer, but then I found others asking the question. I can't find the answer.

• Windows Vista "Tilde" key does not not on laptop

  I have a HP Pavilion laptop. Last week everything worked well. I closed the computer and closed the screen. A week later, when I returned home and restart the computer my tilde on the keyboard key does not work.

  I checked the driver and everything was fine. I ran a check for malware and came up with nothing. I tried using a different user profile and it still didn't work.

  All other work except this key keyboard key. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  The issue could be with the keyboard. Try to connect another keyboard USB (if available) and check if the key works in it.

  If the keyboard is the problem, you need to replace in order to get this to work. You can also try blowing air through fan or something similar to blow off the dust in the keys, cause of dust inside the keys have this problem.

  While OS reinstall too much trouble, if this isn't the hardware problem. I encountered this problem once. But the key doesn't work is not is "Alt".

• No special character tilde

  I looked around and I can't.  Has anyone found?

  Tilde is the ~ character (7th hex and dec 126)

  I use it in one of my passwords.  I guess it's high time to change this password.

  Oh, I am answering my own question.

  The problem I had is that the Visual is not going for the tilde character.

  The first box in the Symbol dialog box shows a tilde with a straight underneath so I didn't try.

  It turns out it's the tilde character.

  

  I wonder if the straight line is supposed to be a selection indicator.  Note that the box is a slightly different color.  Because it is not possible to move the cursor I could not test this theory.

• A key will work not (tilde), but only in one of my Windows 7 profiles

  I am running Windows 7 Home Premium (x 64) Service Pack 1 (build 7601).  My history of update said that everything has been installed.

  The tilde / single quote left-button (just below ESC on my keyboard) does not work in my regular profile - won't work in any program at all.

  But it works in the other profiles that I put in place.

  I tried three keyboards; It is not the keyboard.  I tried both wireless and USB.

  I tried to remove the device drivers by using Device Manager, and then restart.  Did not help.

  Any help?

  1. I tried to use the instructions in the link you provided 'fix a corrupted user profile' which specifically stated that the profile contains settings "funds of screen, screen savers, pointer preferences, sound settings and other features" would be transferred to my new profile if I followed the instructions.  However, none of my desktop settings imported into the new profile, such as the wallpaper, the items on my desk and the changes in my menu start.  So, I tried a different approach (described below) first and foremost try to rebuild my profile.

  2. at the end of the day, I found the problem, it's * not * a corrupt user profile. The problem was a setting in the control panel / region and languages / keyboards and languages.  (I went to this setting as a general search on the internet revealed that the community of players has had some problems with the tilde/grave key.)

  Under the button 'Change keyboard', I did the following.

  one) by the suggestion players, under 'Général' community, removed keyboard "Us - International", leaving only "keyboard = US" and "Other = Correction of ink" (this last I learned is for my tablet of entry).  This change has not fixed my problem himself, even after a reboot.  But I left it like that. Then next...

  (b) under 'Advanced settings key' to 'To the English', I used "Change Key Sequence," uncheck "Enable Key Sequence, which had been fixed for 'Ctrl-Shift' + 'Serious'.  However, neither this change has fixed my problem himself, even after a reboot.  Then I tried then...

  (c) under 'Advanced settings key' for "Between the input languages", I used 'Change key Sequence' to change the "switch Keyboard Layout" of "Accent Grave (') to"All Unassigned".»  [I left ' switch an input language "to"Left Alt + shift."]  THIS CHANGE CORRECTS MY PROBLEM.

  I would like to mention that the manufacturer of keyboard for my Unified Wireless keyboard and mouse was kind kindness to send me a whole new set, in the hope that it could solve my problem, even if it was not a hardware problem.

  The data is stored correctly, as shown in the PICTURE, even if you really do not have the data expected if I'm only guessing.

  The problem is most likely with the police. Your command prompt is implemented with code 850 (WE8PC850), but the police page seems to be in the code page 437 (US8PC437). You should change the font to a non-raster font or change page codes and NLS_LANG to the code page 437.

  Note, do not define NLS_LANG in system properties, because it affects so Oracle Forms. Set only in the command prompt given.

• Why the version of Acrobat Reader DC doe put a tilde when I hit shift and insert to paste something?

  This new version of Acrobat Reader DC sucks.  I used to be able to press SHIFT and enter to paste the characters in my PDF files.  Now, when I press shift and insert, it puts a tilde (~).   I tried to uninstall it, but I can't find versions older web site.   How can I fix it?  Where can I get an older version of Adobe?
