  My serial number for adobe photoshop elements 12 and first 12 items does not work.  On adobe.com, it shows that I received the serial number is associated with adobe photoshop elements 9 and first elements 9.  I bought these products in the past, but recently upgraded to 12 items.  Can I use the Organizer in photoshop, but could not open the editor of photoshop.

  Unfortunately, if you have never installed it, adobe has no record of your serial number. Serial numbers for the products are sold in large batches, and the buyer (Epson, in your case) is responsible for them. You must get in touch with Epson.

  If you have installed and registered PSE 6, go to adobe.com and search on the right side of My Adobe page. By working through the links you should be able find the record of the serial number that you have registered.

  Hi, I bought the education edition of Adobe Photoshop CS6 extended on Amazon (I think) a couple of years.

  I recently did a reset of my PC, so everything is erased and the operating system is reinstalled. Now when I insert the CD it asks me the serial number or else I can use it only for 30 days.

  It is, I can't find my serial number; I have the CD and the box, but the box has a sticker that says PRODUCT CODE: is not the serial number. Also, I can't find my e-mail account that I've linked this photoshop, I honestly do not remember after these years.

  What should I do?

  Note: I am a studentand I know I had to show my eligibility when I first bought it so if I can verify somehow that I am the pupil with the info you have on your servers, is possible for me to reactivate my Photoshop?

  Hi Jeff Wright, I all do it according to your instructions. uninstalled, run CC Cleaner, started again and use a new download for the

  new install of Photoshop 10. By installing, put in s/n, without any problem, so that Photoshop complete 10 installed.

  After rebooting open Photoshop and I see first? Screen to install the registry key. And put it in, always the message.

  that s/n is not longer valid. Indeed, slowly, I lose interest on the program. I'm only a user that they will work with it without much

  problems. Adobe come no feedback or help, I have to communicate with the community. Now go get another araoun program and buy

  not more than one Adobe product.

  What are the blocker of Adobe which affects the serial number validation processes.

  Follow the procedure below:

  • Remove all entries that has name of adobe. Then close the Textedit, it will Autosave.
  • Make sure that there is no entry of Adobe on the inside.
  • Then copy and paste the Hosts file in folder etc.
  • We replace the modified hosts file that we had copied on the desktop with the original Hosts file inside the folder etc.
  • When you are prompted, the authentication by password Mac,
  • Be sure to select the option Replace ...
  • Once you have replaced the Hosts file, double click on it again and check if the Hosts file is free of Adobe entries.

  Then try to activate the CS 6 apps using the serial number, it shud work.
