validation of microsoft operating system

I ran several programs recommended by majorgeeks.com to eliminate malware, etc. from my computer and now I get the message that my os does not pass the validation and can be counterfeited. He spent the validation, since I bought the computer, several years ago.

I clicked on the link in the notification and went to the site of validation, but it will not always validate. I have not a validation code with my computer because I bought it refurbished, so what do I do now?

To analyze and solve problems for Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag (download and save to the desktop -http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 ) tool
Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the button continue, which will produce the report.
To copy the report in your response, click the button copy in the tool (ignore the error at this stage), and then paste (using r-click and paste or Ctrl + V) in your response.

  • You can grab a copy of the Original Microsoft operating system?

HI: My Dell Dimension 3000 had Windows XP Home on my hard drive and it destroys itself.  I bought a new hard drive and he would reinstall from the restore disc.  Unfortunately as it was for many years the restoration dischas moved.  I still have the COA on the side of the machine.  I was wondering if there was a way to get a copy of the Microsoft operating system.  Dell is not any help at all, and "You can call me Bob," says hes sorry I have problems, but this computer is no longer supported.  If I was filthy rich instead of being on disability, I got a new computer.  Thanks for any help.

I received a call from someone who said they were working on behalf of Microsoft operating systems, they told me they had my error reports and that the operating system is currently infected. After saying the first man, I didn't know who he was, or why he was called, he put his superior, she continued to soft sell and finally after their phone numbers: 1-88-408-4118 bearing the name of John Clark, ext. 105. They said they were working out of THE Cal. and gave another number which seems to me to be false. I finally told them I do not trust them and would give no information, they were trying to make me give them access to my computer. Latest phone # was 760-269-3834.

They told me that my computer would crash, I needed this update, when I asked that if a cost is associated with she said yes 99.00 a year. I told him I have to reconfigure my hard drive with the disk that I had if that is needed. Please tell me that's not microsoft do bussiness in this way.

  • Have a PC desktop, Compaq Presario 5WV270 without an operating system. I need XP Pro for this device.

Running the software of HAM that requires WIN XP Pro SP3 32.  My understanding of several years that these units need their own flavor of Microsoft operating systems.  Where can I find a decent XP Pro?

    K1ger, welcome to the forum.

Here is the product to the computer specification page:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c00009542

The original operating system was Windows Millennium.  Windows XP requires a minimum of 1 GB of memory to operate properly.  The motherboard supports a maximum of 768 MB memory.  Therefore, I do not recommend installing XP.  A new computer may be your best option.

  • XP pro will not validate: upgrade Windows 7 tells me that I need a valid operating system to install

Can anyone shed a light on my dilemma please?

I have a legitimate Windows XP pro (OEM version), purchased copy in good faith of Amazon.co.uk in March 2005. Everything I've done is update the motherboard on several occasions. The drive never left my possession, but which would have been, I activated XP pro 20 times! This time around (Christmas) I've updated the motherboard once more and now I was rejected validation by Microsoft.

Yesterday (December 28), I received a phone call from Microsoft (possibly in India) informing me that they refuse to validate due to the fact that I broke the rules of my license.

I was told that I GOT to upgrade to Windows 7!

Reluctantly, it seems, I have no choice I'm not familiar with any other operating system.

The only problem is now, it seems that I am not authorized to upgrade to Windows 7, I have not an operating system valid in order to allow the upgrade to run?

Is this really the case? I buy the complete package as opposed to the upgrade?

    Can anyone help please?

    Dave :-(

Probably motherboard changes have invalidated your xp license. An OEM license is not transferable to a new motherboard.  (a new motherboard is considered a new computer)

You need a full commercial license in your situation. An upgrade license requires an activated license of qualification.

Thank you for getting back to us with additional information.

If you have another computer with Windows 7 or Vista installed, you can create Windows 8 DVD installation of this system. But you need to get the product key Windows 8 of the manufacturer of the computer. Please refer to this link and create a DVD of Windows 8.

  • Is there a way I can use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint on an Android operating system?

Is there a way I can use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint on an Android operating system?

    Hi DavidBuzzer,

It is not possible to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint in Android operating system.

However, you can use your favorite search engine & download any third-party software that could serve the purpose.

Note: Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

  • Free download updated for microsoft word on windows xp & professional operating system windows xp

My daughter has trouble to download its pdf files of the College.  They come out in jibberish. I spoke with the tech IT to his school and it helped me to update my adobe reader software, but it still did not help. He said that I probably need an update to microsoft word. My computer will display currently dates of my microsoft word 98-2002. The tech said IT most of the professors send their files in doc.x (whatever it is).  I noticed that you have free updates for word 2010 microsoff on your wessite.  This fix my problem and show the PDFs in English? My operating system is windows XP Professional.  If it will correct what free download should I use?

    Hello Tereasamiller,

This thread has been created in the Forum update of Windows XP; the Microsoft moderation team has moved this thread on the Forum of Windows XP programs.

Alternatively you can also go here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/391736 and see if that helps with your problem. This seems to be a problem with the program Adobe Reader.

The Docx the Tech mentioned is the extension of the files Microsoft Office Word 2010 document. They may have been mentioning this to let you know that your daughter may need Office 2010 to view these files sent by the teacher.

  • Error - the computer is running an operating system Microsoft Dynamics CRM does not support for the installation of the Extension of reporting Dynamics CRM 2011.

Original title: Dynamics CRM 2011 Extension of reporting facility.

    Nice day

Asked me to install this program called Extension Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 report Authoring on one of our PC network operations.  The computer is a Dell OptiPlex 960 under Windows XP SP3.  When attempting to install the program, you get the following error message:

The computer is running an operating system Microsoft Dynamics CRM does not support.  To install this product, you need to upgrade your computer to an operating system supported.  For a complete list of supported operating systems, see the documentation for Microsoft Dynamics CRM (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=181018)
For additional detals see logfile C:\Documents and Settings\bcodom\Application Data\Microsoft\MSCRM\Logs\BIDSExtensionsSetup.log

Now, normally, I just coordinates with the end-user to him upgrade to Windows 7, however, after watching on the download page of this application (http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=13818), I noticed that Windows XP is one of the supported operating systems that can be installed on.  In addition, after looking around on the Technet documentation, I was not given a definitive answer on whether or not this application is not supported on Windows XP.

So, my question is creation of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 report Extension works on Windows XP SP3, or do we let us upgrade this computer to Windows 7?  Thank you!
