Values of context menu

Lets say I have a button that opens a context menu with 2 levels:

Fruits > Apple

Banana

Melon

Vegetables > carrot

Potato

Tomato

Is it possible to get these two values? I mean, to receive information if we have selected the fruit or vegetables and also what kind of fruits/vegetables.

Thanks in advance.

Hello

You can use the property creturn to encode a value that allows you to determine the two values, such as;

var selection = app.popUpMenuEx)

{cName: "Fruit",}

{oSubMenu: [{cName: 'Apple', return: 'Fruit, Apple'}, {cName: "Banana", return: 'Fruit, banana'}, {cName: "Melon", return: "Fruits, Melon"}]},

{cName: "Vegetables",}

({oSubMenu: [{cName: "Carrot", return: "Vegetables, carrot"}, {cName: 'Potato', return: 'Vegetables, potatoes'}, {cName: "Tomato", return: 'Vegetables, tomato'}]});

If (selection! = null)

{

var selection = choice.split(",");

App.Alert ("you selected the------" "+ selection [1] +"------"the \ menu item" "+ selection [0] +" \ "");

}

Is not ideal that you efficiently code menu structure twice (and I assume that you will never use a comma in a menu item name).

I currently have this game to show me all the neede resources to complete everything, I want to implement in order to choose a pop up of a building of character, etc. and have it show me how it is necessary for this.

    HI Black Jack,

    What would be in the context menu, where the popup would be and where the data would be displayed.

  • Want to auto fill a context menu

    Hello! I'm looking for a way to auto fill a context menu with the data of a column on a separate sheet. On sheet 1, I have a bunch of product names in column A (with their prices and taxes from columns B.). On the sheet 2, column A, I would choose the products required for this project in a context menu (drop-down) which includes all items on sheet 1, column A.

    I have a lot of products listed in sheet 1, column A, so it is not practical for each context menu manually. I also need to add more products to sheet 1, column a quite regularly, so need it to update automatically. I can't for the life of understand me. Any help would be much appreciated.

    I'm using 3.6.2 for Mac numbers.

    Hi Liz,

    We do not have the feature of auto filling of the popups at this time. In other words, we don't have popups that will update when a column is revised.

    It may be that you work hard for you to complete your pop-up windows. If you have a column of items, select and change the format of "popup" each of these cells is a popup with all values in your column. You can copy and paste them to your other journal and he use it.

    A while back I developed an applescript script to automate this process, but it is still a process that must be run-it introduces himself. Let me know if you are interested and I'll see if I can dig it up.

Which is frustrating, because the spell checker find new words and typos, but I can't do anything with them, because the context menu of the client program gets in the way.

    Is it possible to replace the integrated right-click to say, left click spell check menu or a button on the main browser?

    Hello sachss, you can turn off the ability for Web sites to replace the context menu in the Explorer - enter Subject: config in the bar firefox address (confirm the message information where it appears) & search for the preference named dom.event.contextmenu.enabled. Double-click it and change its value to false.

  • context menu

    Hello

    I'm trying to create a menu popup that popsup on a right click on a Panel.

    I created the menu in the editor IUR

    I checked the .h file associated with the file .uir that I found here:

    #define POPUPMENU 1
    #define POPUPMENU_TEST1 2 / * callback function: PopUpMenuCB * /.
    #define POPUPMENU_TEST2 3 / * callback function: PopUpMenuCB * /.

    I load the menu and get a value valid in "PopUpMenuHandle".

    PopUpMenuHandle = LoadMenuBar(0,"MyUIR.uir",POPUPMENU);

    When later I try to run the menu of

    RunPopupMenu (PopUpMenuHandle, POPUPMENU, 0, 30, 60, 0, 0, 0, 0);

    I get a runtime error-40 "the id passed was not a valid menu code."

    If I pass the panelhandle where I call RunPopupMenu() the result is the same

    Thanks in advance

    In the menu editor, you set the constant prefix in the CONTEXT menu, ok.

    THEN press the button "Insert an element" and set it in this way:

    Name of constant = MENU

    The element name = Menu 1

    No reminder

    THEN, press the button "Insert a child element" and then set the element in this way:

    Constant name = TEST1

    Name of the item = Test 1

    No reminder

    After that, you can run RunPopupmMenu from POPUPMENU_MENU as the ID of the menu.

  • Option ' send to ' missing from the context menu

    guys,
    I use windows vista and have recently lost the option ' send to ' context menu. Help, please. Thank you.

    Mukul Modani,
    Looks like there is a problem with the registry entry for the menu "send to".

    Important: This document is to modify the Windows registry. Serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about the back upward, and restore the registry, review of the Microsoft article 332756 Knowledge Base (how to back up and restore the registry in Windows).

    Try these steps and see if it solves your problem:

    1. Click Start, and then type regedit.exe in the search field. When appears in regedit.exe, press enter or click on its icon.
    2. Provide consent or credentials appropriate to user account control if prompted.
    3. In the tree pane, navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFilesystemObjects\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers
    4. Open the subkey send to. If it does not exist, create it.
    5. In the subkey send worms, you will see a (default) string value. Ensure that it is set to {7BA4C740-9E81-11CF-99D3-00AA004AE837}.
    6. Log in and turn it on.

    If you are able to change the registry, I exported the correct values from the registry a new installation of Windows Vista that you can import. Simply download the following ZIP file, extract the content inside the file, double-click it and click 'Yes' to the guests.

  • Add the "Print Directory Listing" option to the context menu of Windows Explorer

    Get the error message when you try to use the "Print Directory Listing" solution found in:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/321379/en-us on my new Windows 7 system (from February 2010).

    Could create the context menu of Windows Explorer for the task, but selecting just results in the following error message:

    "This file doesn't have an associatd with her program to perform this action. Please install a program or... to create an association in the default programs control panel. »

    Wentback and checked my Regedit work.  Even deleted the new key and she recreated (just in case.)

    NOTE: I had successfully used the instructions in this article to add "Print Directory Listing features on Windows XP systems, so I reviewed these instructions to see differences and noticed that it * no. * 'associate' step for Vista/Win7 in the article, but this step still shown for XP.»

    And, there seems to be NO WAY to associate a program (in this case, a ".bat") with all of 'record' as target.  Only choices I see these in the 'control panel default programs ' are'. [extensions] "and the protocols.

    So I'm puzzled.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    SJ Pratt

    I just tried this with instructions to the http://support.microsoft.com/kb/321379/en-us link you provided and it worked fine.

    In view of the error you get here are my assumptions to what may be the problem.  Please try these out and answer:

    -Because it denounces, "file doesn't have an associated program.." I would make sure that when you created with Notepad the file .bat you na not to create a file called 'Printdir.bat.txt' or 'Printdir.bat.some_bad_extension '.  If your Windows Explorer settings are set to hide file extensions when you look at a file name, then maybe the REAL file extension you give the command file is being hidden on your part and Windows does not know how to open a file with the extension hidden type.  Make sure that you can see all the file extensions and make sure that the batch file is named with the .bat extension.

    -If you see very well all the file extensions in Windows Explorer and your file is called really Printdir.bat, make sure that you have saved in your root directory of Windows.  If you access %windir% you see Printdir.bat inside there?  If this isn't the case, put it there.  If you do, when you double-click the .bat file Windows run without error and print the dir?  If it works, you know that the batch file works correctly.

    -There's a typing error in the instructions for Vista/Windows 7, check that your registry entries look like this:

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell\Print directory Listing\command

    This shows the new key under shell called "Print Directory Listing" and inside this key/folder another folder/key named "command".

    To within the key/folder 'command', it takes only one entrance with the name of (by default).  Double-click (default) and make sure that its value data is set to:

    Printdir.bat %1

    -You shouldn't need step "the associate" in Windows 7.

    -You can add "Add Print Directory Listing to the context menu of Windows Explorer" for the title of your question so that others can find it.

  • Context menu to open a jpg file

    Until today, when I right click on a file in Windows Explorer .jpg, I'd get a menu 'Open with' and could choose the application appropriate for the tasks I need to do.  This capacity disappeared, without known reason.  I use several different applications for image files, so it is not a universal app, which can be defined as the default value.  I saw all kinds of messages on the registry change, but honestly, it was not so difficult to put in place the first time.  I can't find the 'simple' online fix.

    Thank you!

    Problem solved by a person post in the Forums of Vista, that what he said in this thread (Thread link: http://www.vistax64.com/general-discussion/202928-open-choose-default-program-error-vista-2.html#post939031 ):

    "PROBLEM SOLVED!"
    HOO HOO!

    I want to thank you once again BRINK for ideas on how to solve this problem.
    The next step below, this is how I solved this annoying problem:

    First of all, I came across this article on the Microsoft Web site by changing my google search to solve the problem. I started the google search with the following:

    'open with' lack of context menu

    Who brought results with the first being a microsoft link:

    Command 'Open with' missing from the context Menu

    Now the article didn't tell me exactly how to solve this problem, but it gave me an idea.
    He said look at the following reg key:

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Unknown\shell\openas\command

    And he said to watch the following default value:

    C:\%windir%\rundll32.exe shell32.dll, OpenAs_RunDLL %1

    After that, I noticed that the value was different, but then I noticed in watching the article says that this applies to Windows 95 and 98.
    I then looked at the same key on my laptop that is running Vista Ultimate 32 bit also and I noticed there are subfolders on my laptop that my office did not have.
    It should look like the following:

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Unknown
    \DefaultIcon
    \+Shell
    \+openas
    \COMMAND
    \+opendlg
    \COMMAND

    My office was only the DefaultIcon folder.
    Well I just copied the key from my laptop and voila... it worked.
    I thank the gods of the computer. This has really been bugging me. I know that some people would have just reconfigured or installed a new but I knew it was an easy fix. I thought it was a reg key or windows dll file, but I just need to find the location where he resided in. Luckily I came across this article which pointed me in the right direction. Now I feel like I accomplished something.

    Sorry if this is a bit long but I HATE it when I'm looking for answers in the forums and I see someone say they have solved their problem, but they either don't say anything about how they fixed or that they are so vague that they could didn't say anything.
    I hope this helps others if they have this problem.

    Thank you once again on BOARD! "

    That's all!

  • Options from the context menu and others endangered.

    When I right click on a file and want to create a shortcut on the desktop after moving the cursor on "send to", the "desktop (create shortcut)" is not there.

    When I run the Task Manager, 'Show processes from all users' is unchecked (there is a button for this). Is this normal or is - this effect malware or so? These are disappearances only two notables. I'm sure there are many others.
    If it's due to malware, how should I do?
    Thank you!

    If you look in 'C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo' is "desktop (create shortcut)" listed?

    If is not is it the default value to "C:\Users\Default\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo"? If it is there, just make a copy of one to the other.

    If it fails again, so if you create a new user account that has the option? If so copy it since. Or what can help more - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/45421-send-context-menu-remove-restore-default-items.html?filter [2] = context % 20Menu

    Not show what you mean exactly about "show processes from all users". On my task manager, it's there as a button, but you have to click on it (and then enter the administrators password) to have show all processes from all users.

    If you suspect you may have malware, update your Anti Virus package and run a full scan. Then download, install, update and run a scan complete with Malwarebytes(free), like a scanner at the request.

  • "Send to desktop" missing from the context menu of Explorer

    I have a new install of Windows 7 pro, but I worked with her for a few weeks for some programs to run. I just realized that I can't create a shortcut for the Office in the normal way, with a right click and "send to"---> desk. "Send to" is present in the first Panel to right click, but the "office" is missing from the Panel following if you selected "send to."

    I created another profile and the 'office' is, as appropriate, when above sequence is started.

    What could be wrong, or more importantly, how can it be corrected?

    I see another post in this group with instructions to create a new profile and copy that to her. I can do that, of course, but when I do there always seems to be something missing, so if there is one solution (other than a restaurant), I would be happy to hear about it.

    Thanks a lot for the suggestions, links, explanations, etc.

    If the component on the page sometimes is visible and sometimes will not depending on the condition or user action, you must use the visible property. Whether or not the component is visible only once (for example according to the privilege of the user or user type), you must use return ownership.
