  You will eat less processing time if you do not use the buttons.  The only other way I can think of that you would not use the buttons would be to use an onEnterFrame routine to continually update the TextField to the current value.

  A variable binding cannot be used as this is why you must use years table. Check decompilation binary ADF: using oracle.jbo.domain.Array with ViewCriteria to see a solution.

  I'm having a problem strange setting variables in video clips of another (relative chronology). I run the following code from the clip relative to the target child clips it contains.

  I am trying to set variables in a movie clip targeted by the argument of 'clip' setVars service but they are drawn as undefined. However, works of fine function. I have also tried to manually set the variables in the clip and am still not able to change outside the setVars function.

  What I'm doing wrong here? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Hello!

  User1 is the owner of the table sometable.

  If only the User1 runs your form, there is no need to put the tableowner in front of the tablename parameter.

  If other users run your form, you must create a public or private (for each user) synonym of this table.
  After that, you don't need to use owner.tablename in your sql statement.

  But:
  You cannot use a variable for the user name without using dynamic sql
  as you do if you create a recordgroup.

  I am using Captivate 7.0.1.237 on Windows 7.

  I created a questionnaire that is customized with the last screen showing a message of congratulations and the total score. The total score is variable. The legend appears on the "Edit" mode. But when I publish it as a SWF, spacing stops to the variable.

  I inserted the variable using the accordion Format. What I tried:

  • The simultaneous use of smartshapes and text captions
  • Different browsers (FireFox 24, IE 11, Google Chrome 32)
  • Typed content in Notepad and copy it to the legend smartshape and text.
  • Typed content directly in the legend smartshape and text.

  I get the same result in each scenario.

• Can a Flash SWF embedded save and get a variable with the drive?

  My SWF content contains text in different languages.  The user selects a language and it appears.

  Is there a way to store this setting locally so that the correct language is displayed when the pdf file is reopened?

  I only need a two-letter string, such as "EN", "FR", "ZH", etc., and the SWF file takes care of the rest.

  I tried calling multimedia_saveSettingsString of SWF Actionscript, and I tried to set a global variable in Acrobat and local setPersistent using Actionscript and .js files. It works in Acrobat, but not the reader on a users system.

  I also tried to use a separate pdf form to store a global variable and then tried to get this variable using the SWF Actionscript.

  Could it be a problem with Acrobat properties or security settings?

  I'm not a virtuoso, would help the sample scripts.

  I have faced this kind of problem and solved using 'Public static var '.

  Just, you declare a public static variable in your class Popup. Then you can directly set the value to this variable as,

  ClassName.StaticVariableName = value;

  In your case,.

  say PopUp2.mxml or PopUp2.as

  OnItemSelectionChange (event): void

  PopUp2.m_iSelectedID = DatagridID.selectedItem.AccountID; It will change the value of this variable, even if the popup2 is open.

• Static variables in the Page of the OFA

  We have a requirement to show the popup message when changes are made in the page of the OFA. We use the static variable in the OPS page to store the initial values of some fields and whenever the popup needs to be shown, it compares the value of the static variable for the current value. If they are different then we are the message. It works perfectly fine when the page is accessed by the single user. But when several users access a single screen, it shows the message to a user even if the values are not changed by this user, but the other user has changed. My question is-
  
  1. do we need to use variables of session always for users multiple scenarios?
  2. How does the static variable in java? It is not unique to the session? If so, above the question shouldn't come.
  3. how to solve the problem above?

  I did not understand the part same page can be accessed by different users. In any OA framework Page, the same page is accessible by several users. If you think abt the same data updated at the same time, then search functionality of Version number of the object in the context of OSTEOARTHRITIS.

  All instances of the VO are unique for each session. So no need to worry about this side here.

  The code that you have attached should not report an error, so it seems that something has gone wrong with your installation of MathScript. My best guess is that it is the problem that is described in this knowledge base article. Your signature says that you use f3 patch, which is a good start. But the KB lists some other steps to take when you see errors about MathScript, impossible to compile. Can you try the procedure described in the article and let us know if that fixes the problem?

• Support of the shared Variables in the third part XP embedded based of PTC?

  I sent a request in an embedded XP touch function (third party). The application works very well, but hosted on a RT (sbRIO Board) shared variables are not getting updated in the app on PTC

  1. the PTC is part of the project as a Windows XP Embedded Touch Panel

  2 NI TPC Service has been installed on the PTC and the application can be deployed remotely from the PC development via ethernet. (Where network connections and communications are OK)

  3. using distributed in the development computer systems manager, I can see that the shared variables are getting updates on the network

  I think that the problem can be solved if the following programs are installed on the TPC

  A. Support for variables that are shared for XPembedded

  B. shared Variable engine

  I tried to install the support of variables shared Program Files > National Instruments > Labview 8.6 > PDA > utilities > Variables > x 86 - but I get an installation error "cannot find the application for the Pocket PC applications Manager.

  Shared variable engine was installed from the ve220 folder. The program is installing. But the engine Variable is not start Control Panel > administrative tools > Services, Xpe, the service is stopped and cannot be started. When I try to start the service, I get the following error on PTC

  "Cannot start Service engine of National Instruments Variable on the local computer."

  Error 1053. Service has failed to demand launch or timely control.

  Please suggest solutions to the addresses above or another of the following:

  1. support of variables shared for XP built-in PTC

  2 Installer engine Variable shared.

  Update for interested people working on XP Embedded PTC

  Just to ensure that shared Variables were indeed accessible to the TPC, I wanted to install Distributed Systems Manager 8.6 on the TPC. However given that the TPC was only 1 GB of DOM (disk on memory) and with all the software that I had tried, there remained only a few megabytes on the system. I had to add an another DOM of 2 GB.

  All products in the Installation went well, with the exception of the Logos NOR (Version 5.0). Logos OR installation has failed repeatedly.  I tried to install NI Logos separately, with the same results. Then I had this intuition that NI Logos had anything to do with the question.

  Then, I downloaded the new version of NI DSM 2009 SP1. Even if it were to settle on any fresh system without Labview, the installation would not proceed beyond the stage of configuration. I tried to install NI Logos of the folder on the download of new products separately and it worked magically!

  Once the new Logos (Ver 5.5) installed, the Shared Variable engine starts automatically and the shared Variables are finally unleashed - free stand up and shine! I thank Almighty God!

  On the lighter side, come to think of it - to run an application about 400 KB, we need NEITHER of Run Time, XP embedded, DSM, Logos...  (around 900 MB). Can make us everything simpler?  Invite your comments...

• Variables in the function MathScript ode solver

  I'm using LabView for awhile and I started using the text tools more. To solve a system of differential equations, there is this very elegant tool to do this in a MathScript node with the ode solve algorithms (for example, "ode_adams"). As the LabView help said, I've defined a function and registered as a ".m" file. I loaded this function in mathscript and solve differential equations.

  Both and so good, but my problem is that I can not all variables in the function. I can only put numbers in the function but not variables. Unfortunately I need to define the variables outside the function in the MathScript node.

  Does anyone have an idea how to manage the variables in this case?
