I edited my images on 5 Lightroom and export TIFF files after changing color ProPhoto RGB space. Then, I opened a picture at once and changed the settings of Photoshop CC ProPhoto RGB color (under the workspace). When I was editing on photoshop, I tried to export the image, but the colors seemed different, a bit washed out and blue, from the color of the workspace, I was on. I don't know how to solve this problem. Please notify.

• Integration between Lightroom and Photoshop broken

• Missing link between Lightroom and Photoshop

  For several weeks, these two programs worked very well and as it should be, I could edit a photo (from Lightroom3) in PhotoshopCS5.

  A few days ago I installed just Lightroom on my laptop and exported images and catalogue (for export in the catalogue). Has done a job on the laptop and imported pictures. After that, I started working on the updated desktop e new and imported the catalog of photos once again.

  Who worked as expected, but when I tried to change this in Photoshop and related options such as fusion HDR, panorama etc are grayed out. I can only get into photoshop as another application, but is not practicle for HDR workflow, etc. and for the economy in Lightroom.

  I tried to create an another catalog with a few photos, but the problem remains. Also a repair with the disc of Lightroom has not solved the problem.

  I opened a .dng image in LR and then opened it in the develop module.  I clicked on Crop Overlay and then on the "As Shot" (the lock is closed) menu drop-down and cropped to 11 x 17 and click 'Done '-.

  I click Ctrl-E and the image opens in the CC.  I click on the Image > Image size and the size of the Image is 13,288 inches on 20,533.

  Why change the size of the image?

  The size of the image has not changed. The number of pixels has not changed. Let me tell you. The number of pixels has not changed to a single pixel.

  The image is always format 11 x 17 (17 divided by 11 = 1.545 and 20.533 divided by 13.288 = 1.545)

  It should work. For a few intensive processor image adjustments, it may trolling, but take a cup of tea and coffee. Ditto on the generation of said images of 1:1 of the big RAW files. But I opened Lr CC right now on a 2009 Core Duo MBP 13 "and it works. Jackpot is important and this will be slower that say a high-end 15 "or iMac, retina, but for what?

  And BTW, the screen RESOLUTION is huge.

  Consider that a MBP 17 "has a resolution of 1920 x 1200. It is decidedly old school.

  12 "has a retina display, at the native resolution of 2304 x 1440 to 226 ppi. This is how many things on the screen. Almost as much as an ordinary 2.5 k iMac. Yes, the pictures would be smaller, but you just get the thing... which is easier because it is smaller. His retina at 15 "of your eyes, which means that it is as close as you can get before you see pixels. Then you'd see a ton in addition to your image at 1:1 without scrolling autour, and yet the menus and icons Lr would be regular size of Mac.   OK, I just discover another discussion that my problem was caused by Nikon Transfer.

  I had been using the version of Nikon Transfer, I had with my previous camera, which apparently corrupts a D7200 Nikon raw files.

  I have transferred my images (using Lightroom) and NEF files open fine in Lightroom and Photoshop.

  I am new to Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop elements 12 5.   I opened a Lightroom image in Photoshop elements 12 using Photo-> edit in-> PSE12.  I'm doing a change in PSE12 and then 'save '.  I understand that I'm supposed to replace the default file name.  But, when I go back to LR, my PSE changes are not saved.  What I am doing wrong?

  I noticed the same problem when I upgraded to items 12 in December. Also using LR on mac running 10.8.5 5.3. When using the backup command in PSE generally the saved file was not visible in LR. I posted in the forum then without any positive responses. As I worked the problem me without that I noticed that during the recording of the PSE if I used the command "Save as" instead of the command 'Save' and then answer Yes to replace the file existing changes would save to LR fail. I use this technique for the past 6 weeks or more and have not had any changes do not reach back to LR. I have no idea why this resolves the problem, as all said not teaching material to use the Save as command. I suspect that this is a bug in PSE12, but because it's 'only' items no one at adobe is paying attention. Anyway, try and see if it solves your problem. It worked for me even if I can't explain why.

According to Julieanne, you press ctrl-s to have the PS saves the HDR image and then it should show up in Lightroom. What I found is that hit crtrl-s record in a PSD file that automatically appear in Lightroom but Lightroom, but can not read. If I do a save as, and then select TIFF as the Lightroom extension will not automatically see the TIFF file. I need to synchronize the folder in order to have the Lightroom to import.

  Why is that Lightroom automatically see a PSD file (which is of no use), and see the TIFF file?

  Is there a setting in the PS that will change the preferences to save in TIFF format instead of a PSD file?

  Go to the LR preferences > external Edit tab and the change set the top pop-up at TIFF and you should be all.

  Hello:

  I'm interested in control/motion blur in photography, before Lightroom and Photoshop.  A lot of photo subjects (for example, the leaves, the cars, the waves) is moving.  I calculated the size of the pixel of a photo.  It is not only the information to pixels of the sensor.  For example, with a certain lens zoom and focus distance, each pixel represents a definable area of the image.  Then there is the printing area, which corresponds to the original area of the image.  There are a lot of variables to consider.  Movement both within and beyond each pixel affects the image.

  I'm interested in literature, documents or people who will guide me in the understanding of the control of movement/blur in the picture.  With this, my photos will be much better, and easier to modify.

  There are 3 variables to consider in digital photography;

  Shutter, f-stops and ISO speed. To reduce motion blur, the best way is to increase your shutter speed.

  Fly and get these pixels out of the autopsy table.

  Take photos, adjust certain variables, take a few pictures.

  Obsessed by a granular level will take you far actually take pictures, or at least all of the pictures that are going to feel proud of.

  We all want the excitement of taking a great photo.

  But they are ultimately dependent on more heart than cold logic.
