VCB Image files reside on the server

Hello

I just did a full VCB backup and restore for the first time. It went fairly well however the files are on the server?  How can I get rid of these besides just removing them. Is there a command?

Thank you

Graham

Once completed vcbmounter you have backup of virtual machine. To you, it's what you do with it. For example I run the batch file to save my VI where he calls another file of commands to "back up the virtual machine, pack files vm, move to the temporary data store, clean. This process is repeated for each virtual machine specified in the list.

Finally, I have some tape backup archives.

  • How to open the pdf file residing on the server to the client computer applications?

    Hi all
    The scenario is that I've developed a form using forms10g (9.0.4). I wrote the following lines in the module of the form, there is a button.in the code for this button.
    AppID: = DDE. App_Begin ("C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 5.0\Acrobat\Acrobat.exe C:\2dayDBA.pdf', DDE.") App_Mode_Maximized);
    ConvID: = DDE. Insider ("Acrobat", '2dayDBA.pdf');
    Now when I run the form and click the button, it opens the pdf "2dayDBA.pdf" file and it works fine.
    My problem is that when I deploy the same form on Oracle application server and copy the pdf files in the same location with acrobat reader installed at the same place and run the formula browser client and press
    the button, it does not open the pdf file and gives me the error "Exception no Oracle".

    someone has the solution for this. (don't forget I want to just open the pdf file of the client)
    its really urgent

    Kind regards

  • Personalized workspace, an image file to fit the area?

    iMac 27' OS Lion CS4 - I built a new custom workspace where I have about 10 pallets on the desktop, and unlike my old Mac G5 Tiger running constantly, when I open an image file, it occupies the entire screen (based on the original size) and occupies space as under the pallets. I would like for the image to open or if not open then when I hit cmd + 0 for "screen adjustment" while it occupies only the area of the screen which is free. help please.

    I just tried it on my iBook. The script works in Mac Photoshop. Just open your Photoshop folder in the Application folder, drop the script into Presets > Scripts > Scripts events only and then open Photoshop, open the Script event handler. The Windows and Mac versions work the same. Follow the settings in the example of Windows. Close and restart Photoshop, and it will work.

  • How to remove the pdf files created on the server using cfdocument pdf?

    I use < cfdocument format = "pdf"...

    to create a .pdf file dynamically generated and named and it works pretty well. Marine managers can easily send the pdf to ships in the fleets and planning forces in the shipyards. (Planning data changes almost every day). However I noticed that the pdf file remains on the server. Over time, this could become a problem with numbers. is there something I'm missing to remove these PDF files over time. Other that a manual check and delete. This Government server requires 4 connections and your right arm to put self to day, so something is needed.

    Using a task for this problem is something easy (and I think than a common to solve such problems).

    Just to give you an idea (or probably the whole solution, but it is not tested):

    <>
    Directory = "" #variables.strDirPath # ""
    name = "qDir.
    action = "LIST".
    Filter = "*.pdf" / >

  • HWO to remove the files reside in the File.applicationStorageDirectory?

    I created a saveLocally() method to temporarily store the images obtained from the server.

    saveLocally(fileName:String,_data:ByteArray):void
    {
    var file:File = File.applicationStorageDirectory.resolvePath (fileName);
    var fileStream:FileStream = new FileStream();
    fileStream.open (file, FileMode.WRITE);
    fileStream.writeBytes (data, 0, data.length);
    fileStream.close ();
    }

    These files are stored in the «...» C:\Documents and Data Store Data\ImageGallery\Local"

    After I closed my application files that are stored in the Local store directory are still available. But to remove these images when I clicked the close button.

    Thanks in advance...

    Hi Ma'ariv,

    Try to save the images in a file instead of save directly to Local storage directory in the path of 'C:\Documents and Data\ImageGallery\Local Data Store'.

    If you save them to a specific folder, you can point directly in this folder where images and you can easily remove the content with any problem for the other content in the Local repository.

    If you save images directly in your Local Store directory without any subdirectory then it will be difficult for you to remove all the images as you have other content in the Local store as well as your images so you can remove them both and you must point to the file of each image and remove the single image file.

    So to avoid this, you can store images in separate folder in your ApplicationStorage directory and delete the content (images) of the folder directly.

    So create a pictures folder in the Local store directory and point to this drectoy of Images in your code 'C:\Documents and Data Data\ImageGallery\LocalImages\image1.png Store\'

    Change your code as below:

    Note: Here File.applicationStorageDirectory itself is the path--> "C:\Documents and Data\ImageGallery\Local Data Store"

    No need to use File.applicationStorageDirectory.resolvePath ("Local Store"); or File.applicationStorageDirectory.resolvePath ("ImageGallery");

    Try to use debugging as which way you actually get so you know what exactly happening...

    public void onclose (): void

    {

    Folder Images here is the new folder now where your images should be saved.

    var myFile:File = File.applicationStorageDirectory.resolvePath ("Images");

    If (MyFile.Exists)
    {
    myFile.deleteDirectory (true);
    }

    }

    Thank you

  • Get a preview of image files but not the other files

    In the Finder (or an alternative file manager) is there a way to show previews of image files, but not for the other files?

    With the image files, it will display a preview. With other types of file, a preview is useless and its best to see a standard icon indicating the file type.

    Any decent file on all Linux distributions browser lets you choose Preview vs standard icon based on case by case basis depending on the file type. I can't see how to proceed in the Finder (or the various alternatives as TotalFinder). How can I me Finder for this?

    The thumbnails, you mean? I don't think that there is a 'decent' solution for OS x. But then again, I don't know everything.

  • How/where are the financial reports stored on the file system of the server?

    We recently lost a large part of our reports on our server. We cannot understand what the restore directory location in order to get these reports back. Where is the default directory for 11.1.2.2 financial reports? And in what format the reports are being saved?

    EN reports can be found in the file system of the operating system (o/s), but the EMP workspace hierarchy (folders, tree, etc.) are stored in the database of repository Hyperion bi +.

    On the system of operating system files, the reports are stored in RM1 folder under folder "C:\oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\ReportingAnalysis\data\RM1\root".

    The names of the reports placed here are UUID (identifiers of long - not the actual names).

    For example:

    When a report is created with the name 'My report' in Studio Financial Reporting, by connecting to the EMP workspace will be available in the name of financial reports/folder where it was saved.

    the actual report will be stored in a subfolder of the RM1\root folder on the file system.

    The file name will be a unique identifier (not the real name of the report is 'my report')

    It will be generated 'on the fly' based on various things such as the date and time on the server (i.e. 0000012f5af72b1a-0000-ec71-c0a8006c.00000130510b77bb-0000-5133-c0a8006c.1)

    The meta-data for this report ('My report', that is in the folder in the workspace, the date of the change of the report, permissions on this report, etc) will be stored in the Hyperion bi + DB as an object in an encrypted table. Financial reporting knows what metadata in the Hyperion bi + DB which corresponds to the report, in the file 'RM1\root' because all rows in the table for that object in the Hyperion bi + PB related to 'My report' will be referenced using the UUID of the file (for example 0000012f5af72b1a-0000-ec71-c0a8006c.00000130510b77bb-0000-5133-c0a8006c.1)

    Note: The location of the folder of RM1 differs with each facility's operating system.

  • How to install the agent to see on the windows image and upload to the server of connection?

    Hello, I'm running a trial to test this Horizon view. If my employers like it, they will implement. I installed and configured: composer, connection and security server.

    I created a Win 7 64-bit image and made money for her. I'm trying to figure out how to install an agent to view on this subject and to transfer him to the connection to the server. I read textbooks online, but maybe my eyes are tired, I've missed that.  How should I proceed to the next level so I can launch and test on a Wyse client?

    At a high level you are installing the agent, stop the machine, create a snapshot, and then create your pool based on this snapshot.

  • Path of the Local computer to files published to the server

    I have run tests of accessibility and uses RH10 with RS9.

    How can I get the path to my published files from my local machine, when the location on the server is [C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe RoboHelp Server 9\robohelp\server]?

    I'm having trouble finding a path from my local computer because the published files are buried in the C:\Program files in the server. What I have to move these files, or is there a way to connect to these files in their current location?

    I always find the easiest way to do this is through the Web administrator. If you then connect, click the projects (3rd one down), select the area that you published to, click the HR project in the list and click the project view. Who opens your help which you can copy the URL.

  • Work on large files (TIFF) of the server in PS

    Often work us on large (50 MB + TIFF) files in Photoshop directly from our server, I just want to be sure that thos is not proceed with execution of our server or Photoshop...

    Ive always been advised to copy the file and working locally when working on large files is this best practice?

    Very appreciated

    This is the standard text often used for saving to a network (NOTE the part where he explains that normally, it works, but it is impossible to solve someone else on the network remotely, and that's why he didn't is not supported by Adobe):

    If you open files on a network, or saved on a network server, please cease and desist immediately in the case where you currently have problems with one or more files. On a network is not supported.

    See:

    http://kb2.Adobe.com/CPS/406/kb406793.html

    Copy the local file CLOSED your server hard disk, work on it, again to save it on your local hard drive, close it and copy the closed file on the server.

    Of course, the fact that Adobe does not support work on a network does not necessarily mean that it doesn't work.   It should be.

    Adobe position is that there are too many variables in a network environment for them to ensure that everything will work properly in all systems, particularly in view of the fact that that something will not work properly, it is probably the fault of the network, and Adobe has no way of troubleshooting of your network.

    If you are unable to work locally, you are yourself, and if something happens, you're on your own. If you work from a server, make sure that your network administrator is a competent professional.

    When problems arise, much valuable work can be lost.

  • How to download only files .html to the server

    How to select all the .html files in my local folder for uploading to the server. Now when I do a little frequent change that effects each .html page (I have use models) I all select them one at a time so as to not accidentally download large files not .html as movies. Thought it might be a way to tell Dreamweaver to download only the .html files.

    Instead of manually select the files that have changed, have you tried to use editing > select options in the files Panel?

    for example edit > Select recently modified or Edit > select new premises.

    Who will only select the files that you have changed (if .html so only those who will be selected), then click you Put.

    Fine on desktop, but off IT dept' manages the server PC with ZIP extreme to make them accessible. The server does not allow files with a backslash (\) in their. ID won't even open a file?

    Someone at - it similar problems? Can I change the way ID creates lock files? Or I need new servers?

    (The last of them was not really an option ;-)

    What operating system do you use? On my .idlk Windows system files, which are files of lock and appear in the same folder as the .innd file that they are locking, always start with a ~. Recovering files is stored in the directory of recovery, have no extension file on my system and start with DBTmp or DBSharing.

  • What are the files save to the server?

    Hello, I am currently evaluate the demo version of RoboHelp and have developed a sample project to WebHelp. My next step is to save the relevant files on one of our servers to see how it behaves, but I can't determine what files I need to save to the server. Can anyone help?

    Unless you have purchased the RoboEngine, there no reason to generate Webhelp Pro (exit on server dedicated to track usage, providing the natural language search, etc.). Webhelp is fine.

    The first user interface panel is where you set the start page and the default page to generate the output on your local machine. (I recommend that you change the default! SSL! path to a completely outside the HR Program Files directory.)

    The fourth user interface panel is where you set the directories of the server where you want to publish this same output. The beauty of the edition, is that HR will publish only the few files that have changed since the previous release, all the production each time (less network traffic).

    Good luck
