  VCops is not a packaging of data such as vCenter. It is just all counters.

  For the standard edition, you have one day 180, retention, cleaned every 7 days.

  Retention of businesses is higher, I think that 900 days by default.

  Also of deleted items, as VMs deleted, deleted the hosts, clusters, etc., are cleaned after 7 days.

  Yes. We found in vcOps alert management configuration is cumbersome. The virtual appliance provided by PSO the process a bit easier with a front-end user interface, but really, it should be as easy as configuring alerts in the user interface of vSphere

  No addition of a second vCenter does not replace the first. Not sure why it happened with mine. the second time, it worked fine. So I think I did something wrong.

  I need to change my vCenter server admin password that I use to connect to the client to vCenter with too.

  The vCenter server is a Windows 2008 virtual machine, which has a SQL Server Remote Database - SQL DB and the server use the same name of user and password as vVenter-, so it connects using Windows credentials.

  What would be the best method to change these? I guess I'll need to stop the services on both servers vCenter, change the password of the service use and then change the passwords on both Windows servers, and then restart the services? Or am I missing something obvious?

• How to change info by VCenter VDR 1.2 device

  We recently raised a new VCenter and before you take one down, I want to be able to change the setting of "VCenter Server or ESX Host" in my camera VDR.

  It seems that all I can do is change the references, not the vCenter server where it points. I use the 1.2.0.1131 version. Even return to the Getting Started Wizard"I cannot change the host to vCenter.

  If this is not possible (I'm guessing THAT VDR uses SQL attached to the former vCenter?) then I can remove my volume, and then create a new data recovery device or I'm better to start from scratch?

  Can someone help me how I can change the labels used in check form as I want to change "Primary file" to "Upload File" that I have disabled the secondary file option and I want to make it more user-friendly.

  The part that does not work is the line set mySlugframe.   I'm changing the size of the label that appears on the tilelist components. I add items to the list dynamically, so I tried to create a label component and change its style and add it with the image, but the style is to have no effect on the appearance of the text. Here is the code I use.

  I don't think he wants to set the format for the label component.  He wants a tilelist style component.

  Yes, just cick on the HOST, choose disconnect, then remove.  The virtual machine is running.  The host 'Add' return with FULL domain name

  I have a report that I'm generation based on a query and it works fine. I wanted to add the totals and so I went the REPORT ATTRIBUTES and select SUM in the column. It gives me the total, but it says "report Total: ' and I wanted to know if there was a way in APEX to customize which. Even if it was just to say 'Total '.

  On the report attributes page, scroll down the page until the Break formatting. The first parameter is 'Show this text when you print the report of money' - put total here

So what I wear today in VMware connection will have to be changed during our next passwrord change management.

  After change password user vCenter, and then update the connection inside VoP credentials. It s important that you change Don t and the existing connection, delete and create a new. Then, you will lose all of your historical data.

  I import a csv file that contains sitecode vcenter, sitename, platform.

  Currently, the VM vCenter is named as the name of windows, but to reorganize and standardize the names of data center/vcenter/cluster SSO, I want to change it with a powercli script...

  For the datacenter and group names, I found everything I need, but for the display name, nothing... I spent all morning for this google...

  The final result should look like this:

  -> Sitename-vCenter

  -> SiteCode-platform for the data center

  -> Sitecode-platform for the Cluster

  Naming Convention is not yet validated, but it should look like this...

  And to be honest, I have no idea what the impact is when you do a 'Rename' from there
