VCP on VI3 Mock Exam?

I took the Mock Exam and I was wondering if it is a useful study guide? Is anyone else now to a site like the Mock Exam for VCP Cert?

Welcome to the forums - it's better sampling of questions and will give you a good feel for the types of questions you will get however, it shouldn't be your only source of study - if you took using class install VMware and OCnfigure of the student as a study guide manual - you can gte more than information in PDF located here - http://www.vmware.com/support/pubs/vi_pages/vi_pubs_35u2.html - some of the key files are Guide ESX of Server Configuration 3, guide to management resources and the Configuration Maximums for VMware Infrastructure 3 and if possible get the hands on experience.

  • VCP510 review - what score to aim on mock exam

    Hi all

I'm studying for my review of VCP510. I wonder what score I should aim to achieve on vSphere 5 Mock Exam under VMwares Mylearn page before that I'm in good shape to pass the exam.

    Thanks in advance

    100%

But it's just a simulated exam... Real Madrid has other criteria of pass (well described in the management plan).

  • Mock exam - cannot take the test more than once?

I don't seem to be able to repeat the mock exam. This is normal or I broke it?

I am aware that I shouldn't use it as a barometer for my preparation for the real thing, but each learning resource helps.

You should be able to consider several times (up to 100 times I think it's) with the same myLearn login, as long as you are unable to it - there is something funny on the myLearn site that you re - take if you stop. They HAD set the pass mark for the examination of the model at 100%, if you had only a problem of recovery it if you scored 100% - you did not you? The pass mark has shown that 100%?

I wonder if you have taken it earlier when the pass mark was lower, cos if this is the case and that you spent there, which would explain the problem now...

Nothing prevents you to create another connection myLearn and try again...

  • Mock exams VCP

In mylearn.vmware.com, there are 100 fake review attempts available.

I want to say, repeat the questions I tried 10 attempts.

VCP questions are similar in strength? or can one of these questions pop in the real test?

    Does anyone has experiences?

    Please advice.

    Thank you

  • How accurate is the VCP4 Mock Exam

I just take the test simulated on the VMware Web site and got a 79.27%, which I suppose would be a pass mark on the real exam.  The questions were quite similar to what has been described in this forum, so I wonder how close the simulated exam is in the real test of VCP4.  If someone had the simulated both review real and can provide feedback, I'd appreciate it.

    Thank you!

I took to VCP410 yesterday.  My general feeling is that if you took the first simulated examination time and made 100% you probobaly has studied with the depth and the width required to pass the real exam.

The problem is now that you took the review simulated once, you have muddied the waters a bit, you inevitably will memorize questions / answers when taking up the simulated exam, so 100% now means a little less than in your first attempt.

When I took the Sham for the first time I did a 85%... I took it up until I was sure that I understand what I missed on every single question I missed (see below PDF files).  I don't know how it helped me in retrospect... except that he made me hit the hardest PDF files.

My advice to you is to study all the product PDF guides... I felt as if the test was really written pdf guides.  Also - I set up a laboratory and install everything what you can - HA, DRS, FT, RDM (physical and virtual), cluster-in-a-box, cluster virt:physical, boot from san.  Lab time is probobaly the best thing you can do to prepare.  Always I'll be honest, if all you have ever did was the labs and didn't study PDF files, I think it would be hard to get a passing grade.

I don't like tests, simulation, and practical tests on the blog of Simon Long for a particular use... set your brain to 'test mode '... I would say that a lot of them take an hour or two before you sit down to your review, just to get your mind in the way of critical thinking and the recall of quick information.

    Good luck

  • Mock exam passage

Hi, I took the test simulated a couple of times and marked respectively 80 and 86%, it is still marked as a failure then what is the rate of success in the examination of the model?  What score should I aim for on a regular basis before that I think sitting the real thing?

    See you soon

The pass mark for simulated exam is 100%

  • Mock Exam

I noticed that there is more wrong with the simulated exam questions. Who can I speak to this topic? Also, I hope that the review will not reflect these same bad questions. I got a 69 on my first attempt, and I'm rather nervous about to re-take the test.

You can contact me about the review of the model.  And Yes, the issues of the review of the model would not in the real test.

  • Yet certified?

A deceased VCP, VCP-101V is still considered a VCP? Or do need re - up to VCP - 310?

The FAQ entry on will expire the VI3 VCP certification? implies that he is still good, but it is titled VI3 and VCP-101V based ESX 2.5 / VC 1.x.

    Thank you

Yes you still Collect but a PCV on ESX2/VC1.not VI - 3 - become a VCP on VI - 3 you will need to take the VCP-310 exam and VI-4 where you will need to sit for VCP VI-4 signs and symptoms.  Being a VCP on ESX2/VC1.x you do not have to attend another class

    Certification requirements

There are a number of paths to VI3 VCP certification. 1.) If you are currently a PCV on 2, you must take the new VCP on VI3 certification exam. Your VCP on 2 certification will not expire, but we encourage VCPs to stay updated. (2.) all candidates had to be either authorized VMware VI3: install and set up, or if eligible the VI3: deploy, secure and analyze the course. We also offer the class of Fast Track, a 5-day intensive class that covers materials both the install and configure and the courses DSA. This class also meets the requirements of certification and a voucher for the exam is included in the price of the class.

  • VCP4 exam schedule

Last Monday, I passed the the VCP310 exam, and I have a few questions about myLearn and the VCP410 exam.

    1. how long does usually for myLearn account reflect that you have completed and passed a test?

    2. can I register for the VCP410 and although my myLearn account does not reflect again that I am a VCP on VI3?

Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you!

    Hello Aizret,

Currently, the VCP certification does not appear on your myLearn transcript. Also, you can register and take exam VCP410 anytime you want. The same is true of the VCP310. It's just that you don't technically received no certification until you have taken the official class. Or, in your case, you have until December to take the VCP410 class without having to take a class.

    I hope this helps.

Don't forget to mark this "correct" answer or 'useful', if you found it useful (you'll also points).

  • Pending confirmation - VCP

I took the VI3 ESX v3.0 and Virtual Center 2.0, but I took the Vi3 ESX v3.5 and Vcenter server 2.5 test.   I hope it's ok because the test is still called vi3.    However, I took the VMware training, but under a permeable employers email address and don't remember anything fill about my training when I did the test.   I took the test the first week of May and that you have not heard anything.    What is my next step?

    Thank you

    Dave

What you have said, you have certainly meets the requirements of "VCP on VI3" - congratulations. Training on 3.0 or 3.5 is sufficient, regardless if you have taken the exam on 3.0 or 3.5.

I would like to send an email to [email protected] with as much information as you can about your course attend, and review your booking - they should be able to confirm things.
