Practice exams VCP-3

Can someone tell me where I can take (or download) the practice (mock) exams?  I was under the impression that they were on the VMware website, but have not been able to pull them up via research.

  • Recommendation of lab exam VCP 550

    Hello

    I have a server on which I have installed ESXi and I am planing Practice exam vcp 5.5.

    Where is the best: create 2 vm with ESXi on that physical server, or just a vm with ESXi?

    What are your recommendations?

    In order to be able to try the most high-availability features you need a minimum of 2 servers ESXi, then I recommend you create two nested ESXi hosts to practice. With such a configuration, you should consider configuring vCenter Server on the physical instance of ESXi.

  • Practice exams for 3.5

    What tests did you use to prepare for VCP? Not interested in "brain shocks", just have a lot of questions on my brain.

    Also, watch out for informal practice tests (Test King and others)-they may contain questions that have no right answer for the way they are worded, sometimes up to 25 - 30% of their questions can be like that, even though many of them are undervalued real exam of brain!

  • Practice exam... Examples of scenarios to practice

    I did some research but couldn't find an answer to what I was looking for. I've never taken a before laboratory examination, and I'm looking for what kind of expected. I would like to find examples of scenarios that I can practice in my lab. I found this preparation guideand wonder if it's a good base on what to expect in the review. I'm certainly not looking for the real exam questions. I'm simply looking for scripts that I can practice. Almost all of the guides I've read say "lab time". In fact, Duncan Epping was kind enough to say twice! I would like real-world practice scenarios if I can. Thank you

  • How exam VCP can be changed after releasing the vSphere 5.1?

    Hi all

    I am preparing to review the VCP of vSphere 5.0, and now vSphere 5.1 came out, so I have a few questions on the possible evolution of the review of the VCP in near future:

    -Do you know or can you guess when the knowledge/skills based on vSphere 5.1 will be tested on the exam?

    -Exam based on vSphere 5.1 will be a separate with its own code review, or the current review of the VCP5 is updated to include the content of vSphere 5.1?

    -If the VCP5.1 exam (based on vSphere 5.1) will be a separate consideration, it will replace the current VCP 5.0 review? or the two exams for vSphere 5.0 and 5.1 coexist at the same time?

    I have invested in current VCP5 exam, so I just want to know if I take VCP5 review the earlier to avoid the review update/update/change? or don't have to hurry because vSphere 5.1 will not affect the current review of the VCP5?

    Thank you very much for the advice,

    Minh

    This question comes up every time VMware a minor version of vSphere, and the answer is that PCV tests are independent of minor versions. VCP510 is the exam for VCP for vSphere 5, not 5.0 or 5.1.

    The certification team go through each of the questions in the pool for the review and ensure that each item is valid for all minor versions. Unless VMware publishes a new examination plan that specifically call 5.1, you can continue your preparations you are today.

  • Confirmation of CRS # class training to take exame VCP - how long is good for?

    I took a VMware vSphere 4 class of Global Knowledge in Nov 2009.  I received my VCP Confirmation # that would allow me to take the VCP exam when the class was completed.  For various reasons, I was not immediately able to continue the review.  Looking to get back on the right track with this.

    How long are good VCP confirmation numbers for what is being called to take the VCP exam?

    Anyone know?

    There is no time limit that I know of take the training class and pass the exam. You can take the exam as long as as it is offered. I actually had my first VCP test more than a year after the training.

    As you can see in http://mylearn.vmware.com/mgrReg/plan.cfm?plan=12457&ui=www VMware also supports training more into account. If you for example has trained VI3 and now want to take the exam, you will need to only the "What's New" upgrade instead of the whole training course.

  • Exam VCP - is it too late?

    OK, first of all I must say that I took the course VI3 install and set up early 2008 - so I left TI has little time for the exam!  It's a long story but anyway, my life is in order now and I started the study of my lecture notes but I have a bit worrying niggling at the back of my mind:

    • The review I'm booked to Pearson is "VCP310: VMware Certified Professional on VI3"-will be this issues include on VI 3.5? If Yes, where can I get the hardware to review if my notes relate only to VI3

    • I approach a deadline for certification because I took the course if long ago?  My review is reserved for November 12, but I want to know that if I didn't I have time for granted!  I saw some people saying that the VCP VI3 takes his retirement at the end of this year is that true?

    • Is there a different review for VI3 / VI3.5 and not the course you attended make the difference! ??

    Help, please

    He should know literature official abount ESX 3.5, VC 2.5 (and plugins), VCB 1.5.

  • Mock exams VCP

    In mylearn.vmware.com, there are 100 fake review attempts available.

    I want to say, repeat the questions I tried 10 attempts.

    VCP questions are similar in strength? or can one of these questions pop in the real test?

    Does anyone has experiences?

    Please advice.

  • Exam VCP Discount

    Hello community,

    I studied for my VCP4 exam. I can't take the required class yet, so I'll take 1 review.

    My question about the delivery of the review has a few parts.

    Anyone know where I can get a discount code?

    Does anyone know if there are discounts offered to college students?

    -I am enrolled in the school and the Director of computer program isn't 100% on if school was in VMware

    Education program. She thinks that they are as they are part of the Alliance of EMC training and VMware made visit prior and ignored the stuff off. She is looking for that matter for me but it's the half fall and with its teaching classes and others can bet him in time is limited.

    VMworld Discount - I sent an email to [email protected] and asked the question if someone who has attended VMworld U.S. and cannot attend VMworld Europe could take advantage of the Conference discount codes. The answer I got was beautiful but simply said I can't give you a good, only those that are reserved for the Conference.

    -My VMware gives if suggestion to $90 discount to pass the exam so that at the Conference, why not not extends the offer for those who attended the Conference, after that it's over?

    -Example - $90 discount if yo take a conference after the two conferences were held usually by OCT changed discount save $ 50 until the next Conference.

    I have responded to the Certification team with my question of school and am awaiting a response. I think it would be a good advantage for the community if discounts have been extended as to myself there are probably those who wish to take the examination, but is not ready at the Conference. And having to pay out of pocket for it, help the economies.

    So any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you all,.

    Luigi

    The only one of your questions, I can answer authorititavely is about a discount code for the VCP4 exam - as a VCI, I have a 10% discount code that I can give to any student, I train on a formal course of VMware. Discounts are normally only associated with the training and VMworld events in my experience.

    To be honest, I don't think that regular examination fees are as expensive when even - he compares to the cost of other providers certification exams.

  • Exam VCP - chance to consider issues and go back?

    I recently attended a review of CCNA in a view pearson test center and I was a little shocked to realize that I could not go back to the questions to check/change my answers after moving on to the next question!

    Is the the same Collect?  Can I go back and review and edit questions or just do only once the question?

    Thank you

    No, it's not the same. You can review or go backwards when you think that you made a mistake. You can also mark questions for review, I usually use for the questions that I'm not sure.

  • question of the practical exam 1Z0-047 - CONNECT BY PRIOR

    Hello
    Please see the question by clicking on the link:

    http://S10.postimg.org/58ph01n5l/1z0_047_connectby.PNG

    I échinés on it (well, for a few minutes or more) because I don't think that the answers are correct.
    Option 3 is almost correct, except that in my mind the CONNECT BY PRIOR is backwards.
    Option 4 is almost correct, except it takes LEVEL < = 5 rather than LEVEL < 5.

    In the end, I chose option 3 because it is more certain that the LEVEL should be < = 5 I had CONNECT it BEFORE the wrong way round.

    Now, it so is that I chose the "correct" answer but I am mistaken on option 3? Option 3 is really correct?
    My reasoning is this: we want the ancestors of Peter. This means that Peter's parents. CONNECTION BY ParentID = PRIOR PersonID will begin at the root (Peter Clark), and the next record found (using this SQL) will have ParentID = PersonId of pre-registration, namely, of Peter Clark PersonID. In other words, Peter Clark will be parent of the next record. But we are looking for ancestors of Peter Clark; Ancestors of Peter Clark are the parents of Peter Clark. Peter Clark cannot be the parent of the ancestor (or ancestors).

    I'm here or not?

    Thank you
    Jason

    I agree with you. The connection is evil around all 4 options.
    I set up a test with grandparents etc and connect ParentId = PersonId prior only got the start record.
    Connect prior ParentId = PersonId gives the correct descent.

    create table gr (parentid integer, personID integer, name varchar2(30));
    insert into gr values (null,1,'GGG');
    insert into gr values (1,2,'GGF');
    insert into gr values (null,3,'GGM');
    insert into gr values (2,4,'GF');
    insert into gr values (4,5,'F');
    insert into gr values (5,6,'Peter');
    select * from gr order by parentid, personid;

      PARENTID   PERSONID NAME
    ---------- ---------- ------------------------------
             1          2 GGF
             2          4 GF
             3          4 GF
             4          5 F
             5          6 Peter
                        1 GGG
                        3 GGM

    select level, gr.* from GR where level <= 5
    start with name = 'Peter'
    connect by ParentId = Prior PersonId
    Order Siblings by name;

    Output has only Peter:

         LEVEL   PARENTID   PERSONID NAME
    ---------- ---------- ---------- ------------------------------
             1          5          6 Peter

    1 row selected.

    The reverse

    select level, gr.* from GR where level <= 5
    start with name = 'Peter'
    connect by Prior ParentId = PersonId
    Order Siblings by name;

         LEVEL   PARENTID   PERSONID NAME
    ---------- ---------- ---------- ------------------------------
             1          5          6 Peter
             2          4          5 F
             3          2          4 GF
             4          1          2 GGF
             5                     1 GGG
             3          3          4 GF
             4                     3 GGM

    7 rows selected.

  • Exam VCP - please advise

    I took my VCP410 last weekend and did not... I hate to admit that it is embarrassing to say the least.

    A friend went at the same time, and we have attracted 2 totally different tests... If I had traced one he did I probably wouldn't be having this conversation right now...

    So I'm cramming this week, via PDF after PDF and going through the book of Scott Lowes... But what am I really ready? I had the 4.0 document configs Max down and he could repeat in my sleep... Unfortunately, only one or two questions were of the... But do I have to have documents 4.1 / spec / Max of stored? Or version 4.0? There are some differences between the two, and if they update the review in real time, I need to know what to expect.

    Or are they avoiding questions such as "what is the maximum logical processors on a host computer?" or "what is the number max vCPU by heart?

    In fact, the answers might be different for 4.0, 4.0 Update 1 and 4.1... I don't know who prepare to...

    All advice appreciated.

    It is about the case in the short term.  As we are going forward and everyone is studying using 4.1 materials, we are likely to include questions focused on 4.1 when we need to revise or replace questions, as long as the topic is already covered on the plan of action of one.  We will cover still not topics (such as storage IOCTRL) who are not on the plan of action.
