Version 38.0.1 of Firefox will not restore a previous session by using Tab Mix Plus; all other versions prior to version 38.0 work.
I installed all versions of Firefox to version 31.0 38.0 and the only one that does not restore a previous session using session Tab Mix Plus restore feature was version 38.0 or 38.0.1 (latest version).
I think I saw something about this on their support forum, the other day, and the suggestion was to try the current development version:
- Forum: http://tmp.garyr.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=2
- versions: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/tab-mix-plus/versions/
However, you can start a new thread with your specific symptoms to see if you get different advice.

However, the system restore will not restore the system at any time I choose. What is the solution?
OK you have an ETHERNET cable? (cable for PC to the Modem)
What OS do you have?Heres to help, you need to an ethernet cable, or adapter wireless XBOX 360.
With the ethernet cable, connect one end on the XBOX and one end to your laptop.
You go to control panel > network and Internet > network and sharing Center > change the adapter settings. Then you select your wireless network and your local network. Then you right click and press 'CONNECTION of BRIDGE' (requires administrator privileges). After that your DONE! Just check if it works on your XBOX 360! -

I'm newbie/PC illiterate
THANKS Mozilla AND VOLUNTEER FOR the EXISTINGPrivate browsing mode is designed to keep not take of your browsing history. This allows users to browse the internet without their history to be saved on his computer. For this reason, you cannot restore a session that was made in private browsing mode, the session is permanently deleted from the closing of Firefox.
If you want to have the ability to restore previous sessions, please use Firefox in normal browse mode.

How can I stop firefox trying to restore my previous sessions
Since I updated to firefox 20.0 I had a problem with firefox. Whenever I start firefox I get a message saying that it is so embarrassing to try but not to restore my previous session and it gives me the opportunity to be close the page and go to the home screen, or to restore my previous session. My preferences has the show my home page selected, every time I close Firefox, I close the page by pressing the red x, and then I put the firefox icon or the tab of firefox at the top of my screen and select Exit. I have reset firefox twice and that no longer works.
A possible cause can be that you first close all Firefox Windows and then close the Firefox application.
Some noted that closing of Firefox (Firefox > Quit) while the browser window is always open works for them.

https://support.Mozilla.org/he/questions/985552#question-reply
I tried everything I could find online. Uninstall and reinstall. tried even completely uninstall, leaving the data in my profile (I save him in chrome).
Nothing has worked. the firefox.exe process appears in the Manager of tasks for 3 seconds and disappeared.
Finally I downgrade to FF26 - an unofficial version on the web and not my locale.
You must provide an option to download the old versions.

There is no trace of the previous session, to the title of the menu bar. I know it's common, I hope someone has a new response.
Thank youThe xtra74pv.default file is the Firefox profile folder, if the file is in the right place and needed to be moved.
If you have an older version of the sessionstore.js file from before the crash then you need to replace the current sessionstore.js with the old copy to see if brings back the lost tabs.

AAMATAYA, although I use windows 7, I was able to restore all of my previous tabs in my last session after using the back button (I had done a search on google for some answers; that's how I got to this post), return to my home page, and then clicking the button again to restore previous Session.
It seems that every once in a while, after the update, any similar oddity occurs with firefox.

I have no problem with one of my printers when printing 11.7 before or IE 6.0.2800.1106 but cannot print from Firefox 3.6.13 (or earlier).
When you try to print to the HP PSC 750 inkjet printer, a "Print" dialog box appears, showing the title: xyz and a progress meter showing 100%, but it's be covered almost immediately by a second dialog box stating "an unknown error has occurred while printing" and, even if the continuous printer saying 'impression', no printing is taking place. When you try to print to the Brother HL-5240 laser printer, printing will take place, but all formatting is lost and what comes out is a block of text unintelligible running.
What can / should I do to get Firefox to print correctly on my two printers?
1. print.print_printer reappears after printing something. This pref is the last printer used, so when you reset the prefs it does not appear until you print something.
2. that your problem with printer HP reappeared quickly, try a new profile.
http://KB.mozillazine.org/Creating_a_new_Firefox_profile_on_Windows3. with regard to the preferences for the old printers, if reset you these Pref they don't come back (assuming that you do not select accidentally printers or printer drivers are uninstalled).

Firefox will not open a bookmark in a new tab even if it is located in the tools to do this.
I had problems yesterday and "Norton" connected to my machine. Today, when I click on a bookmark, it opens in the same tab.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode without failure.

Firefox 15 not restore tabs.
In short, Firefox 15 not restore my last session. I put it in my options to restore the last session, but this is not the case. Before the update, it worked, and now it does not work on both of my computers.
Found out the real reason why it didn't work: the add-on Super tab Mode caused pages to not load.

How to restore a previous session if this option is not highlighted in the history menu?
When I was leaving Firefox the last time, Adobe flash has attempted to open a tab to download something, so I forced to leave. Now, I just opened Firefox and there not restore my previous session as he usually does, and this option is not available in the menu background. I looked in the profiles folder in the Finder, but I don't think that there is no .bak file to before I restarted today. I had a lot of very important tabs at this session and I really need it back!
Try to restore a previous version of the sessionstore.js file in the folder of Firefox via time Machine profile.
You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:
