  The HFM readme 9.2.1, it shows that HFM works with Excel 2007. However, support matrices do not show Office/Excel 2007 as supported. We are experiencing a problem using excel 2007 with Web Forms. We strive export form data to excel, change, then reupload online and it does not work. It of course works with excel 2003. Someone at - he heard of this problem or know a solution to make it work with 9.2.1 and office 2007?

  We had a similar problem and support informed us that the problem was that they know and that it has been resolved in version 11 of HFM. Unfortunately, the problem will not be changed in version 9.x.

  We are upgrading to Office 2007 and Excel Addin that we use for 2003. We have a Planning / Essbase 64 bit environment working on 11.1.1.3
  Now, when I look for the customer of Essbase to 11.1.1.3 compatible with office 2007, I can't find in Oracle e-delivery site. Is there any place I can get it?
  
  In addition, ours is a 64-bit environment and our users desktops are 32-bit. So this fine if I install the 32-bit client? Don't know what type of bit of current great complement?

  The 11.1.1.3 Excel add-in is supported on Excel 2007 - no matter that it is 64-bit or 32-bit operating systems. Excel 2007 is still a 32-bit application. If you are also using SmartView research support.oracle.com for updates for SmartView because it is updated fully supporting the work on 64-bit operating systems.

  Office 2010 64 bit is NOT supported. Office 2010 32-bit is supported for SmartView - Excel 2010 32-bit add-in have not tried but I think it should work also.

• Excel 2007 to carry forward when called LabVIEW v9 in Windows 7

  I'm building a dual system using LabView and Excel 2007 v9, Windows 7.  The original system used Windows XP, Excel 2007, and LabView v8.6.  The problem is that the original system has been able to bring forward to Excel when it is called LabVIEW by using the node property - application-> visible.  This new configuration is running Excel, loads the data, run macros, but does not Excel forward.  The icon flashes in the bar of tasks Win7 and when selected displays at the top of LabView.  If I reduce the window of Labview, Excel is here.  This brings me to the conclusion that Excel is visible, as requested but will not come forward until this that selected in the taskbar.  The only differences, not to mention the versions, is used the extension .xls in model of original system files was performed in Excel in compatibility mode.  At the request of customers, the new system uses on model files Excel .xlsm extension.  I tried to use application.visible = True in the macro as well.  Could be a setting in Labview?  Could be a setting in Excel? Could be .xls vs. .xlsm? Or a problem with Windows 7 and the latest version of Labview.

  I just use something like this in any place where I normally just would make excel visible. Works for me on Win7 x 64 even though I don't really know why.

  On Windows XP, I never had no problem with just using the visible property, with a change unique windowstate or even without one.

• TDMS Excel Add-in does not limit new line Excel 2007 support

  First stop, I want to say that format TDM/PTM is really useful. It allows you to perform all sorts of things that would be a real pain if you've tried to do with spreadsheets, delimited by tabs. You can format data in spreadsheets excel for analysis with separate tabs and the names of channel on the columns and the whole nine yards. You can even throw error messages in the properties that appear on the first tab.

  The problem occurs when the user works with very large files. Excel 2003 and earlier versions of Excel have limits of 65 536 rows by 256 columns. Until the latest version of the Excel Add-in, CT if you tried to import files in addition to this he would lift an error and does not create any file at all. It is important now to a file and that you specify the index, which is so much better.

  Excel 2007 supports 1 048 576 lines by 16 384 columns! This is really useful. But the current version of the TDM Excel Add-In does not support the limit of the new line. Is there a way we can get a version of this for 2007 that supports the new limits of the line? It would be cool if the add-in could automatically detect the version and to modify the limits of import accordingly but it is perhaps too much. Has anyone else experience these problems?

  My client would like to file long record time at 200 Hz throughout the day. Lines of data per file is 720 000. Yes, that's a lot, but excel takes care of everything. The importer TDMS impossible. Of course there are workarounds and we will have to use one if a new version of the Add - in Excel TDM will not soon made. Y at - it a new version coming soon? Please say Yes.

  Mystery solved. Completely uninstalling and reinstalling the add-in, do the same thing on a computer to co-workers and to come with the same limited import I scratch my head a bit. It turns out that my network administrators put all suites MS Office in the entire company to operate in 'compatibility' default Mode, so they would save default 2003 versions. When Excel is running in compatibility mode and the user tries to import large tdms, the behavior I described occurs.

  It's a bit complicated to explain, but here go us. I have excel 2007 and since we moved to this new version when I am selecting a column and then run the search function in this column of the cell that has the information I'm looking for is almost in the same color as the column of highloghted all that makes it VERY difficult to see. How can I change the color of the column selected to be darker so then white blood cells stand out? Hope that makes sense. Thank you

• Excel 2007 in Windows 7 does not allow to drag a program maxaminzed to a second screen.

  I like the fact that in Windows 7, you can move a screen expanded to another monitor without having to minimize it first.  I found it works wthl all programs except Excel.  Fixes for this?

  Excel 2007 has a few known issues with the Aero Snap features. You cannot drag or use the keyboard shortcuts for most of these options when Excel is maximized, you must click on the button restore everything first.

  However, if you have multiple monitors, you can still use the Windows key logo + SHIFT + left or right key arrow to move a window larger version of Excel to the other monitor.

• Windows 7 RTM search resulting Sharing Violation in Excel 2007

  I use Windows 7 RTM Ultamite 64 - bit (updated recently to Vista) with Office 2007 SP2. I do very frequent experience sharing Violations in Excel 2007 that disappear if I disable the search (for example using the indexer status gadget) and come back when I turn it back on. According to the gadget I find 6.1.7600.16385. FYI I have also Windows Defender (currently disabled) and Trend Micro WFBS 6.5, but these programs do not seem to be involved, based on the problem will disappear and return when I stop and start the search indexer.

  This problem occurs very frequently and has already caused losses of productivity.

  Here's a typical scenario:
  -Open an Excel file
  -changes in the leaves or in VBA (the problem occurs regardless of whether or not there are macros or if the file is in the format 2003/xls or xlsm xlss 2007)
  -Click Save
  -get the "Sharing Violation": your changes could not be saved in "" because of a Division. violation try saving to another file.
  - , then get: the file you are trying to open, "<########>", is in a different format than specified by the file extension. Check that the file is not corrupted and precedes by a trusted source before you open the file. Do you want to open it now?
  - , leave the Save as dialog box, save (sometimes works); then get:
  -Do you want to save changes to ''?
  -
  -get again save under and try and save it under another name or overwrite existing
  -Exit: errors were detected during the recording of "". Microsoft Office may be able to save the file by removing or repairing some features. To make the repairs in a new file, click on continue. To cancel saving the file, click Cancel.

  - or sometimes, instead of the above, I get a message that the file is damaged and cannot be repaired.

  Anyway, please provide a fix for this problem as soon as POSSIBLE.

  I contacted Trend Micro and they report that it is a known problem in the current version of the WFBS and they provide me with an update to try.

Happens in most cases, if the user does not have privileges right to my records when you download it creates / uses the _tmp in myfolders if who does not have the privileges him cause the question

  Hello, I have a Deskjet F380 and my printer does not print any Excel 2007 document but is printed earlier versions. When I save 2007 documents in an earlier version, it does still not print.

  On quick check to try change the PQ setting: in the print properties, check the "Print quality" setting If it is set to draft, select Normal or another setting that is currently assigned to, then try your print job.

• Excel 2007 for"PDF" Creat "" "

  In Excel 2007, whenever I use the option 'create pdf' in the addin (X) Acrobat PDFMaker Office COM, pdf file opens without errors, but when I come back in my workbook and you try to run a macro, my macros are disabled.

  The workbook is a xlsm file and in a trusted location with macros enabled.

  I thought that I would try to write the vba macro to perform the same step caution include a few lines "unprotecting" to see if I can work around this problem.

  Print the Acrobat PDF printer (using the print command) works fine, but it is not as fast as the option 'create pdf' and has no links.

  Does anyone have any suggestions?

  It should be mentioned that, following your previous advice, I thought to go a little further in implementing in place settings of Excel, Adobe Acrobat, by opening my Excel template (Book.xltm) and by analyzing the preferences there.  After doing this, I went into the registry and Alto! -they were there.  I was then able to add the DWORD DisableMacro you mentioned at the beginning.

  Here is my current registry, but I still have to test my macros.  I'll post some and let you know my progress.

• Import an Excel 2007 (.xlsx) on FDM 11.1.2

  I got a download of excel file (.xls Office 2003 format) that we used in the succesfully past and loaded 9.2 FDM and open in Office 2007, recorded the file in .xlsx Office 2007 format, attempted to load the file in FDM 11.1.2 and I got an error message. "Error: an error occurred importing the file."
  Detail: no [ups] don't rank file name! »
  
  Please note the following:
  * This file 2003 .xls version loads perfectly fine 9.2 of FDM and FDM 11.1.2
  * Save the file even in 2007 .xlsx and try to load it in 11.1.2 produce the above error
  * I verfied that the UPS named range exists in the .xlsx file, I'm loading in via FDM 11.1.2. Also as noted in the one ball the same file as .xls charge very well.
  
  Is that all that I'm missing? I looked the Readme of FDM 11.1.2 for all bugs and was not able to see anything that would avoid this charge.

• ADI not application model client when the publication to Excel 2007

  We have ADI 7.2.3.09.06 - 32 bit with Excel 2007 on a users select computer laptop. It is connect to Oracle 11i.
  
  When we publish reports to Excel, it will load Excel 2007 but open the model without applying the report that has been run. So all we see is the real model, not related to inside information.
  
  An interesting thing is when we publish to Excel, it will draw a "Report Wizard" telling us to drag the arrows to separate the title of the report, column header. ADI don't ask that with all other reports.

  So why it works on another computer that has the same configuration?
