Version of Dreamweaver Cloud crashes at launch, the Mountain Lion 10.8.2.

Few of my apps Cloud Creative crash on launch after upgarding to Mountain Lion. I was able to set InDesign and Muse.
I am atill trying to get Dreamweaver working again. I tried to remove all kinds of files of pref, set of Java, by running some kind of script Terminal, repair permissions... nothing works.

Any ideas on how I might be able to solve this problem? THX!

I recommend doing a clean uninstall, if you have not already, then re - install and update.

By a 'clean' uninstall, I mean:

  1. Uninstall using the uninstaller (in/Applications/Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 / folder).
  2. After the uninstall is complete, check in / applications. If the folder Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 persists, drag it to the trash.
  3. Empty the trash, to make sure that nothing remains of Dreamweaver.

Then open Adobe Application Manager (or go to creative.adobe.com/apps) to start the process of download/installation of Dreamweaver again.

After installation, check if you can open the application.

If you can, then go ahead and select help > updates (or just the section "Updates" of Adobe Application Manager) to install the latest updates.

    You should have a complete backup of your system before performing an upgrade. Given that, we risk minimum trying to El Capitan before adopting it. Instead of spending $20 on the Mountain Lion, when El Capitan is much higher.

    There are not many apps running in Cougar and El Capitan.

  • Director of HP with the Mountain Lion

    I recently bought a new MacBook Pro running Mountain Lion, and although I have no problem using my MFP HP LaserJet Pro M1212n impression, I can not install HP Director, so can not scan, etc..     Great to hear that the issue of AirPrint been resolved now!

    By your description, it seems more likely that only the printer has been installed and not the HP software.

    Try the following steps to install the Lion software and check if this may work:

    1. Go to System Preferences< print="" &="" scan="" and="" remove="" the="" current="">
    2. Go to System Preferences > security & privacy. Modify the security settings to allow to install all software (you may need to click the lock icon to allow changes).
    3. Download and install the software 10.7 below:

    4. After completing the installation I highly recommend allows you to change the default security settings...

    Now try to use the HP scanning application in the folder of Laserjet Application\HP.
    Although it was not tested and not for the OS, so it may work or may not be not and cannot be stable as expected, I personally have it stable software on ML with very satisfactory results...

    1 Sucessfully installed and ran CC with PS, Lightroom etc in OS x 10.8

    2 cloning the drive since I am move to a new SSD

    3 CC or any of the applications Adobe has not released more

    4 removed all adobe with the application "Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool" applications

    After creating a new user and then by moving my settings files in file by file and loging out between I finally found the one who kills the CC. I use OSX https://github.com/mathiasbynens/dotfilesbootstrap config.

    I suppose that the comment should have warned me, but I'm not running Adobe Illustrator CS5, a TI does not say "blocks all Adobe applications.

  • Adobe Creative Cloud crashes immediately launch, does not work on a new iMac 5K / Yosemite.

    Adobe Creative Cloud installation (/ Applications/Utilities/Adobe Creative Cloud/ACC/Creative Cloud.app) is immediately blocked the launch, so I can't install CC on a new iMac 5K Yosemite running. Launch the application to fetch the rest of accidents programs CC, saying 'Creative cloud close unexpectedly.'

    I have an old Photoshop CS3 install, install a newish Lightroom and now I need to install the first of my Adobe ID work. I think that this may be the crux of the problem. If the Cleaner CC app worked as advertised, I could delete the old installation of Photoshop and simply use the new Photoshop CC and everything would be cool, but the CC Cleaner does not work. It seems that it works, but the problem persists. In fact, Adobe support told me via twitter that the Adobe installer fundamentally does not work on Mac migrated (new Mac when old data has been put in place backups). They called cela a conflict of BONES, but I pointed out than any other works, so there is a conflict of good enough Adobe.

    It seems to be a permissions issue, and Adobe thinks it's a permissions problem blocking VAC applet, but I fixed permissions HD and made repair disk, run Adobe CC Cleaner several times, tried to install CC in another account administrator on the machine, tried to install CC of root and all this repeated after reinstalling OS X via restart with Cmd + R , always ends with the same result: creative cloud close unexpectedly.

    They suggested that install on a clean drive, one that has not been migrated. To do this, I guess I to bring it to Apple, since I have neither a Yosemite install disc, or a drive to put a thumb

    I found an article entitled "CC applications close immediately after the launch", but this trick does not work because the Creative Cloud applet is the application can't launch.

    OK, thanks for the update KBaird.  I'm curious about the results, but the option you have chosen is probably the fastest.

    In general, I recommend only migration of documents and settings and reinstall all applications directly.  Sometimes the migration can occur successfully more often if they lead difficult to solve errors regarding Adobe Creative applications.

  • Creative Suite CS6 Apps break to launch with the Mountain Lion

    It seems that there is a compatibility problem running OS Lion mountain with Adobe Creative Suite Apps. Most crash on launch. Lightroom also seems to work and Photoshop and Bridge. Dreamweaver CS6 breaks down and I use this program all the time. I think I should go back to Lion. Does anyone else have this problem?

    Thank you all for the helpful answers. The problem was in fact a police problem. Apparently, the Library-Fonts folder contained bad fonts. I just took out them and CS6 now works perfectly.

  • Skype crashes on the Mountain Lion Developer Preview

    I upgraded my iMac to Mountain Lion overview of developers and Skype crashes. The audio parameters are constantly and errors in the display and I can't seem to let him use my headset USB most of the time. Generally, it crashes when making an outgoing call.

    I use Skype all day and had to set up another computer just so that I can make and receive calls. Very frustrating!

    Everyone has similar problems or have a fix?

    I hope that they fix on the next generation.

  • AE CS6 updater crashing into the Mountain Lion

    Hello

    Have used CS6 AE 11.0.2.11 on Mountain Lion.

    Yesterday, I received a message telling me that an update was available, but when trying to install message was that she had not and that I should try again later.

    So I tried it again today and it has gotten insofar as a message telling me to close "Daemon crash Adobe" - which of course I can't find to close.

    So finally had to force quit the installer.

    I am able to continue to use 11.0.2.11, but I feel uncomfortable with these unresolved issues.

    Restart your computer to make sure that all processes as the demon of the accident have stopped smoking. Don't start any application other than Adobe Bridge. In Adobe Bridge, choose Help > updates.

  • The Mountain Lion as a guest install fails - ml 10.8.2 host, Fusion 5.02

    I tried to install a guest Cougar in Fusion 5.02 without great success.  Setup is starting to show the apple logo and icon driven for several minutes, then the screen doesn't tilt a grey 'none' sign (circle with a diagonal line) with animated icon and stay that way indefinitely.  I tried with 1 core, core 2 and core 4 and with everything from 2 to 8 GB of ram.

    I also tried with and without graphic acceleration.

    The host operating system is 10.8.2, running on a macbook pro w/retina / 2.6GHz i7 / 16 GB of RAM.

    Someone has any advice on where to go from here?

    Hi Jason and welcome on VMware communities!

    The symptoms you describe indicate that media that you install from are maybe faulty or poorly prepared.  What is the source media that you use?  Mount the media on the host, launch the Terminal host and run diskutil list.  The output of diskutil list should include something very similar to this one:

    $ diskutil list Volumes/Mac\ OS\. Install\ ESD.
    / dev/disk3
    #: NAME SIZE TYPE IDENTIFIER
    0: Apple_partition_scheme * disk3 4.8 GB
    1: Apple_partition_map disk3s1 30.7 KB
    2: Apple_HFS Mac OS X install ESD 4.8 GB disk3s2

    Yes, you can try to install photoshop CS5 on Mountain Lion, it should settle down and work properly.

  • Dreamweaver CS6 unable to launch the Application Manager because of a removed when Creative Cloud membership was cancelled, so cannot launch CS6. Application Manager new download I tried but he wants me to re-register. Maybe I need to old mana application

    I have a Dreamweaver CS6 which was installed stand-alone version on my Mac (OS 10.10.1) for a couple of years now and has worked well. Last year, I joined the creative cloud and got a single subscription to Dreamweaver CC. A week hardly, after 1 year, I cancelled the subscription. I wanted to go back to my old Dreamweaver CS6, but when I launched DW CS6 it grew up the account manager and he wanted me to activate my subscription again. So, through a long process to Adobe customer service, I deleted the application manager. But when I went to the DW CS6 launch, he said that the account manager was missing and impossible to verify the serial number. Then I reinstalled the new account manager to have the same problem occur.  I need to reinstall an OLDER version of the account manager so that it does not have to register again for the subscription of the CC? Is it still possible? Bottom line: how to launch my old DW CS6 stand-alone version without running account manager problems?

  • Creative cloud crashes at launch. Impossible to uninstall, impossible to reinstall, impossible to open my apps (they will plant also launch). I'm COMPLETELY BLOCKED.

    See the title. Everything worked fine until today and I have not recently installed new software or new hardware bizarre. I however had a power failure that restarted my PC, and that's when it started happening. If something must be corrupted.

    I'm on Windows 8.1 64 bit, everything is up-to-date. Uninstall of gives me this and does nothing:

    I already tried all the obvious things to do including:

    • Reset whenever I tried something
    • Running everything as administrator when I try something just to be sure
    • Using CCleaner to clean the registry and different system caches
    • Download the creative cloud set - Up.exe from various places across Adobe.com
    • Looking for these weird "AdobeFnt.lst" files and delete them (they do not exist
    • Manually delete the folder Cloud Creative

    WELL, , I found OUT what WAS going ON.

    It turns out that my C:/Users / * user/AppData/Local/folder name Temp suddenly all the approvals cleared. I had to manually to appropriate this new (right click on the folder, Security tab, advanced, etc..)

    After doing this, the installer CC started working.

    It is by far one of the strangest problems I ever. I have no idea why the permissions on this specific folder would disappear suddenly, but good. There you go.
