Version of the image - size PSE8

I often save different versions of the same image sizes. When you view different versions of an image in PSE8

Organizer, is not readilly apparent which version of size I look at you.  Is there a simple combination of keys to reveal the size of the image?

View the properties: window menu/properties

and choose the first icon on the left. Dimension is just under the ribs.

This error is new, an image which i does there is half an hour was created in the full size, when I export now, his is reduced by half (orginal: 5184 x 3456, jpg. 1707 x 2560). The size of the results is not exactly half, nearby.  Half would be 1728 x 2592 and yours is 1707 x 2560.

Is the problem that you are original are offline and you export from previews smart?   You say Original under the histogram?

Check the dimensions of the photo in Loupe by pressing the i (eye) button until you see the dimensions.  Having only a glimpse smart does not change dimensions.

    Try a Reset of preferences:

A dialog box "Remove the Photoshop settings file" will appear. Click 'Yes' and see if that helps.

  • Inaccessible parts of the image size dialog box

We have PS CS3 10.0.1 on two machines here.  Twice now when the person on the other machine has tried to change the size of the image of a picture, she works on, the image size dialog box came with the read-only pixel dimensions and size and resolution locked together so that she can change the size, but not the number of pixels, i.e., by increasing the resolution reduced size.  If she emails the file for me, when I open the image size dialogue box is normal and I can change the size, leave the same resolution and thus to increase the total number of pixels.

Any idea what's going on here?

It couldn't be as simple as accidentally as unchecking the checkbox Check [] resampling could it?

  • Why the image size is smaller when going from RAW to Photoshop

My computer has dropped recently and I had to reboot Photoshop CS2 worm 9 and I had to download Camera Raw plugin version 3.7. Now when I

process a Raw file, which is normally an image of 54 x 36 inches, now, I'm getting a picture of 16.2x10.8. I can't find why it is to reduce the size of the file. Any ideas?   Help

    Thank you

    Don Spears

The 'size' of an image is a combination of its dimensions and its resolution. While the dimensions may change, the chances are that your resolution was changed as well. The largest dimension is prolly at 72 DPI (pixel pre inch), and the smallest dimension is prolly more at 300 PPI. Camera Raw has the ability to change that, but also to change the pixel dimensions, check what is the PPI to your second image. If it's more like 300PPI so you just a different ratio. If it is 72 DPI then you did something to downsample the image.

  • Reduce the image size after scanning

I have a problem, identify ways to reduce an image in size so it's pretty small to put in my remote (it's the words that I am allergic to penicillin in many different languages, preceded by the corresponding indicator).  I can crop the image so it shows just the words and the flag, but then I want to re-size (but this is grayed out in the list). I am at a loss. I've never had an all-in-one before so am probably being a bit thick I know, but you would appreciate the help.

    Thank you. AnneF

What model is your all-in-one?  What program you use to edit or print the image?

How can I reduce the size of the photos when they are sent with Windows Mail?  I know that I can reduce the size by selecting the image directly and by inserting in emails, but I want to send several photos in an email.   Thank you!

Open Windows Photo Gallery > you can select one image at a time > click email at the top > select your image size > click on attach > repeat the same procedure in the following image and so forth

When in fact all the photos you've selected and resized will be attached to the same e-mail in Windows Mail. For the benefits of others looking for answers, please mark as answer suggestion if it solves your problem.

  • Photoshop CS6: Change the default resolution for the 'Document size' in the Image Size dialog box?

I have a Canon EOS 40 d, Photoshop CS6 and Adobe Bridge CS6.  I shot everything in RAW.

When it's time to change the images, I start by opening in RAW using Adobe Bridge.  When I finished to make adjustments, I click the button open an Image that contains the image to Photoshop.  When I put them to the top of the dialog box size of the Image, the size of the Document is still 240 DPI.

Is it possible to change this default?  If so, how?

Click on the text in blue at the bottom of the Camera raw window and change the ppi there.

  • When exporting photos, lightroom saves several versions of the image on my destination folder

    Hello

I've been using lightroom for editing my pictures for about a year now.  First, I noticed the problem a few months ago, but did not bother to seek a solution so far.  Whenever I finish photo editing, I export it to my destination folder.  My problem is that when I go in the destination folder, I see several versions of the photo, even if I only export (save) once when I am fully satisfied with the modified final image.  For example, I'll see img_2222, img_2222-2, img_2222-3 and so on, sometimes up to 10 versions.  I also noticed that the images are a little different with the final image is the image with the largest number suffix (for example, img_2222-10).  I hope I am making sense here...

As you can imagine, it's frustrating, because I end up spending an absurd amount of time to delete the versions that I don't need.  Is there any solution for this?  I searched all the settings and don't see even an option where I can record all the steps of my editing process images...

    Help!

    Hi cindymaya,

Could you please share the version of Lightroom that you use?

Could you please share the Lightroom export settings by using a screenshot?

When you export an image, Lightroom displays the top progress bar left referring to the number of images that are exported.

This progress bar says exporting a photo when exporting?

suggest you try to export to a new empty folder, and then check if it exports several versions.

    Kind regards

  • Several State to display objects using a larger version of the images in a grid

    Hi friends

For my Ipad Folio built in ID, I have a page with a grid of small images. The goal is that the user should be able to type on the small image to see the full image. I'm designing it by object state Multi where in each small image would be the first State to an ESM with a button, tapped, it would show the next State in the form of a larger version of the same image. Each MSO has two images, a small picture in the grid and the second the larger version.
So what to do for well packaged images of grid, I can do it for one or two, but after that images and different States in different MSO buttons start lapping and cutting each other. You can see the screenshots attached here. The first is grid, and the second screenshot shows larger images overlapping.

Can anyone please suggest how to solve this problem, or do it in a different way. Thanks in advance.

which is the seat of office. You can access this url on your phone and see does not work. Here's how the site responds on my phone... ALSO, for some reason any address bar disappears into the landscape, but maybe it's something in iOS8.

    Hi Dave,.

The preview for the provisions of the device in Muse is only an approximation that is returned within a framework - it doesn't emulate a real browser of the unit and how the browser returns the site on a real device.

    Hope that explains the difference.

  • Logo with percentage compared to the image size

    Hello everyone

I would like to ask if there is a way to make a script that put a logo AND the size of this logo has a specific size of percentage (say 10%)

compared to that of the two axes of the image (lets say depending on the height of the image).

It's because I use for crop and crop my photos. At the end of installation, I run my batch of logo and of course each logo has different size

relative to the size of the photo...

    Thanks to you all

I would like to ask if there is a way to make a script that put a logo AND the size of this logo has a specific size per cent (say 10%) compared to that of the two axes of the image (lets say depending on the height of the image).

    Yes.

  • What is the image size always optimal for use in Premiere Pro?

I'm pretty new to Premiere Pro so please excuse any extreme stupidity.

I make a movie composed of various interview with. I intend to drop in stills (and possibly scanner and pan around on them). Still images come from various sources and will have been filmed on different formats.

I asked images high resolution, but asked what size I want the images she mm. Can someone advise?

The film will be shown on Vimeo and on a Web site, but it is also more extensive for projection high definition if necessary.  The movie is HD 1080 x 1920

    Any advice greatly appreciated.
    Thank you

Make sure that the person who provides still images is measured in PIXELS. Not MM, inch, DPI - but PIXELS no no. No other video issues.

Your 'canvas' in first 1920 x 1080 (HD 1080) pixels, it's the size minimum everything should always be to fill the frame without having to to scale upward (loss of quality). Of course, if the image is portrait style, then it will NOT fill the frame, but rather will be black on the sides, bottom replacement or as others have suggested. In this case, make sure the height is at least 1080 (width will be narrower than 1920).

You said you want to crop, like Ken Burns, so then you would like images greater than 1920 x 1080, such as the 3456 x 2304 proposed. Allows you to zoom in to a certain extent using pixels available in the image without actually upscaling the image at all. The more you want to zoom in, pixels more than you need to achieve this without degrading the quality of "blow up" the image.

    Good luck
