My son and I built a computer. Is there a version of windows OS can we boot the new computer with and upgrade an older computer that we have. Or if we build another computer after this one? We want to use Win 7.
Hi Bill,

Tecra M2: Installing a clean version of Win XP Pro
I have a tecra M2, and due to the number of updates and SP2 version I would like to format, install a clean version of windows xp pro and then install all programs and drivers toshiba.
I am looking for guidance in which order I should install them, one I did, then I would like to use sysprep and creat a new ghost image.
Hello
Why did you install the clean version of Win XP? I m sure you have the cd to recover.
I would recommend using the recovery CD. There is already a ghost image and all Toshiba drivers and utilities are preinstalled. This OS has been tested and it works correctly.
But to install the drivers correctly, please follow the order on the Toshiba driver download area.Good bye

Purchase complete Spanish versions of Win 7 by a mission to Ecuador
A mission to Ecuador (http://www.fundacion-fushenfu-ecu.org/eng.htm) purchased four computers with Spanish versions of Win 7 Home edition for students at their school. Win 7 has proved to be illegal (pirated) versions. The mission now wants to replace the Win 7 systems with legal versions. What is bureaucratic and inexpensive way to replace systems?

Installation to Pre-service Pack version of win xp on the hard drives of high capacity
Hello! I have a version of win xp professional - it's the version before he had services packs! I want to install a new HD 1 TB as disk 0 and want to put my xp pro on it, however, the large capacity disks (more than 137MB if memory serves) are not supported by versions of xp before service pack 2. How can I format my new HD and install xp pro and still have the capacity to 1 TB? The HD I replace a service pack 3 on it. Is it possible that I can transfer the pro/sp3 of xp on the new HD or is there some files that I can wear over my installation of xp pro/sp3? Thanks for your help!

This means that Microsoft disables this button so it can't bemore used. Please, in the future, never publish your key like this. But leaving that aside for the moment, to answer your question, ifIt is a key to the retail sale, Yes, you can use it on another computer. I installed windows 7. In the old version of win xp, I got an anti virus, but I cannot replace it in the windows.old folder
You cannot extract a whole program from the Windows.old folder, it is used to recover individual files.
You must reinstall the antivirus from the original media. Most AV programs can be downloaded from the Web
Consider installing Microsoft's Security Essentials Antivirus program. It is clean, simple and free.

I would like to know if it is possible to change my version of WIN of Premiere Pro CS4 for Mac.
Thank you for any information.
N ° platform Swaps apply only to the last version that was CS6. Apart it's a moot point - CS4 is not compatible with the current versions of Mac OS X, anyway.

How to activate a degraded version of Win XP?
I have a version to reinstall Windows 7 Pro, and a Win XP Pro installation disc. I also have a product for Windows 7 Pro activation key, but it won't work with the XP installation. If I try to phone (automated system) activation or activation online by using my key of Win 7, or come back as valid activations. How can I activate? Is there another phone number where I can actually talk to a person and not an automated system?
Hello
try to see here, that might help you:
http://www.Microsoft.com/OEM/en/licensing/sblicensing/pages/downgrade_rights.aspx
If you want to downgrade from WINDOWS 7 Pro in WinXP Pro - you can use any installation CD in WinXP Pro with the product key (CD with the product key can be used on another computer) and install it.
The activation , you have to do by phone , if the product key is already used. If this isn't the case, you can do the activation online via Internet.
(The productkey must be to Windows XP Professional, that you can not use the product key of Windows 7 and try using with WinXP Pro)

Is it possible to download an OEM version of win 7 home?
Here's the bottom line. The system not supplied with recovery CD or a partition recovery and user (my cousin) did not even though the system itself. Windows should now be reinstalled (virus) but I can't find an OEM version that will work with the key on the COA sticker on the system from a trustworthy source. I know experiences from the past that some version will not accept the OEM on the COA key and I am looking for one that will. I have already contacted the manufacturer and they have / provide no CD of restoration for this model.
Thank you for your time.
Commercial version will work with your OEM product key
