  You can change the print settings on the scale of gray and the quality of the project from normal to reduce ink consumption. Page 36 of the user manual shows how to change the print settings in the solution Center. Ink is also used by the printer for other tasks beyond printing. It is also used to clean and maintain the printhead. The time between jobs sent to the printer can actually too affect ink levels. Here a link to a document on the use of ink in the printer.   I have a portable Satellite Pro M10, which has a black screen, i.e. the backlight does not work. There is an image on the screen, but it is very dark. When you connect an external monitor, I get a normal picture on this screen.

  Information from other messages here, I conclude that there is a problem with the backlight of the lcd screen or the inverter. I checked all connections, but it does not solve the problem. If I bring the laptop to a service center how much it will cost about for repair? The thing is 2-3 years, so if it is very expensive I could better get a new laptop.

  I agree with Tobi. You sounds description as a faulty FL inverter.
  This part is placed behind the LCD screen under the lid.
  As mentioned this part isn t very expensive and you could order the partner of Toshiba service in your country. But be aware that if you have no experience of replacement if you ask technicians for assistance.

  I'm not sure if the laptop software needs a patch, or if the 4 GB card is not fully compatible with SD cards standards, however it was purchased from reputable suppliers.

  I think that it s nothing wrong with the software, but the SD card is simply not compatible 100%.
  In recent times, the SD card sizes are rising rapidly.
  I think that the card reader and the software were not intended to manage this big SD card like this.

  How to buy an external SD card reader?
  These devices are not very expensive and I think the new generation should be able to also handle 4 GB SD cards.

  One day I swithched turn it on and the LCD display seems negative like a photographic negative.
  It is very dark, but the colors are there just upside? I connected to an external monitor to the rear exit and it worked well.

  The backlight of the screen seems to be bright enough so I guess that it may need a replacement LCD screen.

  If you are a lucky man, you won't need to replace the LCD view screen but only the inverter FL. The screen is more expensive laptop parts and it would be very unfortunate if the LCD would malfunction.

  To me, it sounds like a fault of FL-inverter and this part is not very expensive.
  I guess to contact the technician to change this part if you have no experience.

  Using an old computer as a spare and it has windows installed and am running out of my router, but if I can get it only updated to vista or something more recent would be great for the children.  I looked, and from what I understand, ME and 98 no longer in the system, and not a lot you can do about them.  Am I stuck with windows me on this computer for ever?

  Most older computers have not the modern requirements of material in support of Vista or Windows 7.

  And it becomes very expensive try to upgrade.

  An alternative best cheap and reliable (don't forget your motherboard is nearly 10 years old), is to buy a new computer with Vista or Windows7 pre-installed, Windows 7 preference, as is the latest operating system and an improvement over Vista.

  The XL 60 to print more pages than the 60 ink cartridge.

  While the HP black cartridge 60 provide ~ 200 pages, 60 XL provide ~ 600 pages.

  You get the Apple logo only when it is loaded with the blob first software on the hard disk. If the player answered (isn't Cold Stone-death).

  The next major hurdle is the initialization of the file system and mount the boot disk to read files and load up to Mac OS. If you get a bar that takes minutes (rather than in seconds) to progress your player if directory damage and could not be mounted. The minutes are taken to the equivalent of disk utility 'first aid '.

  IF the boot drive can be mounted after one pass of the repair, the boot continues.

  If this is not the case, your Mac will automatically stop.

  So the answer is, you have serious Corruption of directory on the boot drive, and it must be repaired before proceeding. You can hold the R command at startup to get utilities and try to run disk utility and repair.

  If repairable, you can proceed. If not, you need a new external drive and install a new copy of Mac OS on it. Or the Genius Bar to your Apple store can do for you. If you have a backup of trust, you can erase the disc instead, but this erases ALL the files and is not a good idea. A new external drive is not very expensive.

  This question has been asked and answered a number of times, but nothing new.  I'm under El Capitan and I am looking for a low cost or free app which allows you to create simple databases.  My library of books becomes too big for a worksheet and I have other genealogy stuff I want to catalog in a database.  Recommendations for a simple application database of low cost?

  I'm scared of databases tend to do not come cheaply, with the exception of LibreOffice and similar - although I found the database module it very awkward and difficult to use. However it's free, you might feel that it was worth looking at. For serious use, the only real choice is Filemaker Pro, but it's very expensive.

  I get my new (first time) the LiNX² 961 hearing next week and do my homework. Those of you with loss simple age-related hearing (moderate loss to gradually of frequencies) can help me wrap my head around a fundamental question continuously. When, if ever, I would want to broadcast?

  For example, my wife and I love action films, but when the TV volume is lower I continue to ask what someone said.  What is resolved by setting up a TV unit Stream 2 as a solution to have to increase the volume to hear the conversations and then lower the volume for high action scenes, top, down, up, down? Or my hearing aids that will correct without the need of flow?

  The context of the question includes where I sometimes wear a headset or headphones to listen to the audio stream without disturbing others nearby, such as watching a Netflix movie, while my wife is reading.  It seemed that interested only in spreading to this end, rather than to address any age-related hearing loss.  I don't know the streaming is used for other purposes.

  I have the TV streamer that sells sounding, and it works extremely well.  The sound quality is like putting on a very expensive pair of studio headphones... the voices are clear, the soundtrack is rich and sound, and you get this feeling "That I heard this in the middle of my head".  On my TV installation, the 'Chamber' volume-level from the TV speakers is always controlled by the remote, while the volume of the thing resonate TV is controlled on my iPhone.  For example, your spouse may set its own level of comfort (strong, soft, silent, whatever) and it is not related to the volume you hear in your AP. And sound level the same goes for the AP: you can cut your AP and it does not affect anyone who has another ability to hear the TV.

  Now on your iPhone, you don't have to go to the 'all around' affecting "TV-mini mic" in order to hear the TV thing, but it's just a button, so no big deal.

  Also, I need is no longer the subtitles on TV, which makes me a most popular guy.

I also want to save precious space on my MacBook Pro SSD, this is why I need this feature of "cold storage" in the cloud.

  Your only choice is only Wi - Fi or Wi - Fi more cell. The Minis are cheaper than 9.7 "screens and big enough for Safari IMO. You can buy a Wi - Fi only iPad Mini, cheaper units and then use the Hotspot of your phone (if your operator allows) to connect the iPad to cell phone, the least expensive way to do what you want.
