Resound LiNX2 961 - to broadcast or not...?

I get my new (first time) the LiNX² 961 hearing next week and do my homework. Those of you with loss simple age-related hearing (moderate loss to gradually of frequencies) can help me wrap my head around a fundamental question continuously. When, if ever, I would want to broadcast?

For example, my wife and I love action films, but when the TV volume is lower I continue to ask what someone said. What is resolved by setting up a TV unit Stream 2 as a solution to have to increase the volume to hear the conversations and then lower the volume for high action scenes, top, down, up, down? Or my hearing aids that will correct without the need of flow?

The context of the question includes where I sometimes wear a headset or headphones to listen to the audio stream without disturbing others nearby, such as watching a Netflix movie, while my wife is reading. It seemed that interested only in spreading to this end, rather than to address any age-related hearing loss. I don't know the streaming is used for other purposes.

How the rest of you will find streaming useful or important?

I have the TV streamer that sells sounding, and it works extremely well. The sound quality is like putting on a very expensive pair of studio headphones... the voices are clear, the soundtrack is rich and sound, and you get this feeling "That I heard this in the middle of my head". On my TV installation, the 'Chamber' volume-level from the TV speakers is always controlled by the remote, while the volume of the thing resonate TV is controlled on my iPhone. For example, your spouse may set its own level of comfort (strong, soft, silent, whatever) and it is not related to the volume you hear in your AP. And sound level the same goes for the AP: you can cut your AP and it does not affect anyone who has another ability to hear the TV.

Now on your iPhone, you don't have to go to the 'all around' affecting "TV-mini mic" in order to hear the TV thing, but it's just a button, so no big deal.

Also, I need is no longer the subtitles on TV, which makes me a most popular guy.

Resound LiNX2 Firmware 961

I will get my first pair of hearing aids,² 961 LiNX RIE, 20 Sept. Pending this installation, I did my homework, including by participating in these forums of Apple on this topic. Firmware seems to be a recurring topic here I'm worried.

It seems that there is always a period to shake, with a lot of messages on the Bluetooth connectivity issues with updates of firmware sometimes correcting a problem. While only cautiously optimistic, I want to be proactive in avoiding problems for my first experience of hearing aid in getting firmware updates as quickly as possible. Who needs to address my concern that, with regularly updated iOS updated to Apple (the last being downloaded 9.3.5 recently), connectivity can glitch again until an updated required corresponding firmware applies to my hearing aid (or vice versa).

I don't expect my audiologist to warn me when a new firmware is available. I also searched sounding site and do not see the links to all the pages that show the current version of the firmware, or all the instructions telling me how to check if my hearing aids have this latest version of the firmware. (Yes, I will ask my audiologist which version I get in the original timeline.)

I look forward to the improvements to the web site and possible Smart app where it just would not confirm if my hearing aids are up to date, but it is also possible to download and apply updates firmware for hearing aids via the Bluetooth connection, rather than an appointment to audiologist. In the meantime, I'm looking for a way to get automatically notified (perhaps a list of electronic distribution to consumers and professionals) when firmware updates are ready to apply, with confirmation what version of iOS is required for compatibility with this firmware.

This looks like a "problem of sound" - they will be able to tell you how to check the firmware version, how to use their app and if they support the user after the updated and changes or additions to their software.

I suggest you seek their support site, forums, or use their contact information as a last resort. They know more about all the things you want instead of Apple users who help out here.

In regard to updates to iOS, look in "" settings > iTunes and app store ", uncheck"Updates"to stop the automatic updates of operating system." You can do the same for apps if you want to really too much manual control over them. You should read the release notes and comments to work if the updates will change anything that you depend on.

P.S., wait and see if others can help here too

Directed broadcasting does not

I am trying to configure broadcasting to another network segment. He has worked in the past, but since modernize us technologies (from unix to Windows platforms), it does not work.

Basically, I want the UDP traffic on port 3000 which comes from the IP 172.20.1.4/16 to be received by the host 192.168.25.107. The two are connected directly to a router in 1941.

You're definitely on the right track, and most of your config is ok. To support what you are trying to do with directed broadcast, you need three things in your config:

(1) you need the ip forward-Protocol udp 3000

(2) you need the IP helper to pass emissions

(3) you need the ip directed broadcast to allow the transfer of emissions.

The biggest problem is that your support address is on the wrong interface and it specifies the wrong address. Support address is configured on the interface where the emissions will be from. In your case, it would be Gig0/0 and not Gig0/0/0. Support address also specifies when the broadcast would be passed and in your case, that would be 192.168.25.255. If solve you the problem, then directed broadcast should work.

I see you have some ip directed broadcast to the configured Gig0/0. You don't need it there. It does no harm to have it, but it isn't good either. directed broadcast is needed only on interfaces that will receive the directed broadcast and must transfer the package as a local broadcast.

AP1231G SSID broadcasts do not [config posted]

I recently bought a set of access points AP1231G that have been pre-configured as root and nonroot bridges. Initially, I couldn't have a SSID will be displayed, thinking that I may have missed something that has been preconfigured I wiped the config and started from scratch. I went through several guides configuration to enable WPA with open authentication, but have had no success with the SSID is broadcast, and still less connecting to the AP.

WRT610N v2 broadcasts do not 5 Ghz

I just bought a refurbished certified router. The model is WRT610N-RM. Where is what I did:

1 downloaded new firmware on the site using old router, and then disconnected. Connected a lan cable to the new router. The router power. Held down reset until light flashes. Visited the browser and type 192.168.1.1. Entered the password into the router and put firmware updated.

2 5 Ghz settings: go to wireless menu. Selected 'Manual' mode is 'mixed' (if I chose N only for 5 Ghz, so it won't save my setting for internet security. Instead it will be 'disable' do anything'. The rest was by default. SSID is enabled. Then I put in place the 2.5 Ghz.

I have 3 other computers with Wireless N card. Others have a G, but when I saw available networks, I see that the ssid of 2.4 Ghz I tried to restart and unplug power for 10 seconds, but no chance to see the 5 Ghz range. What should I do? Help, please. Thank you.

You can listen to only the 5 GHz band with a 5 GHz-band radio. Don't have two adapters. You won't see any network on the band 5 GHz with these cards.

WiFi does not work if the SSID is not broadcast by router

I have a new 55HX929 and tried to connect to my wifi with its built-in wireless adapter. I do not broadcast my network SSID the router for security and privacy. The searched TV network, does not, and then it asks to enter the SSID. Then, it saves the information and trying to connect but fails. If I enable SSID broadcast on the router and then the tv connects fine but I don't have to do. My tivo with its usb wireless adapter works fine with the SSID broadcasts do not when I configure the network settings. On the same stand as the TV with the power of the signal fine. I am currently using a wireless connected to the ethernet jack TV bridge to work around the problem, but it's a waste when the tv should work with a standard network configuration.

Reading sortiesdvd.com, people have the same problem with NX720 and Sony Google Internet tv. So it seems to be a common problem with Sony games.

I tried online support chat, and they were not able to help. Everything they told me to do was reset the router and tv which does not help. I don't think they understood that a SSID came from how they responded to my questions.

Can we get a fix for this?

Get my F4580 to connect to my network that is not broadcasting its SSID

I am a user of Apple's Mac, I try to connect my Deskjet F4580 to connect to my wireless network.

I use a Belkin Pre N1 Wireless router, which is configured to not broadcast the SSID is.

I tried to enter the SSID manually on the Setup for the F4580, but he can't see it. I don't want to start broadcasting the SSID because of security concerns.

Broadcast your SSID. Not to broadcast is not a security measure. Not at all. It is free on the internet that can read your SSID that you stream or not. Read more here.

Use WPA or WPA2 (not WEP, which can also be broken with freeware) encryption with a password strong and enjoy more security and less hassle you have now.

I just receive my MBA a few weeks ago to Apple and noticed my Razor mouse worked only with BluTooth but not when it is plugged into a usb port. Other mouse usb and external drives readers work well. Razor support told me the plug-and-play subsystem has screwed up, and errors have been associated with Automator.

I have only a local account and I have not linked to the iCloud account.

I don't want to reinstall my laptop because I have 300 GB of data on it, as well as some programs that I installed.

I think that a package is not properly installed or missing, but my OSX knowledge is poor, because I have just started using a Mac!

Computer laptop everything suddenly does not "see" my wireless router, use to work properly

I have a HP laptop and it has implemented a wireless network a wireless d-Link N router. Everything worked well for about 3 months. Now, he can not connect. Running the troubleshooting application to choose a connection - all my neighbors show up, but not that of my house. The router is also new (he and laptop were Christmas gifts). It used to work fine with Windows 7 one and now nothing... I can't it appears in the list of wireless connections.
My laptop 5 years running XP is in line with this router and it works fine - so I don't think that it is the router that is the problem.

Thank you for your message. Check with your D-Link documentation and settings to make sure that the SSID broadcast has not been disabled. This would prevent you from being able to see the wireless network. Please let us know if it did or did not help to solve your problem.

BBM receiving broadcasts people that I deleted.

so I now BBM app for my iphone, as last blackberry user I already had my Blackberry ID so I logged in and all my old contacts reappear. I deleted the people I wanted more and thought nothing of that later, I received yet their broadcasts, broadcasting messagewould pop up on my phone notification Center, but when I drag the open message and see, that of not in my cats and broadcasting is not in my cats...

Actually, Yes, I believe you can (if you are likely going to hit on the condition that you will have to add, as the ID has changed they won't have your new ID on their list). It's easy enough, but with more than 100 contacts, you're not likely to enjoy.

If you go this route, you must Access a BlackBerry with an active BlackBerry data plan.

(1) delete BBM from your iPhone

(2) you should have done a cleanup of security on the BlackBerry, is ready for a new BBID.

(3) sign-in at the BB with your BBID - ideally the BB OS and BBM are the latest versions.

(4) backup your BBM contacts on the micro-SD card list (could also backup via Desktop Manager - but certainly do to the microSD - what is more convenient. Make sure that the micro-SD card is not encrypted.

(5) make a cleaning of the device security - do NOT wipe the micro-SD card (or you just lost your backup BBM - the point of this exercise).

(6) create a new BBID on www.bbid.com or www.blackberry.com/bbid (or url should work)

(7) sign-in on the BB with the new BBID.

(8) restore BBM contacts from the microSD card

(9) maybe make a backup wireless in BBM (yet they have this feature) of your contacts

(10) some say at this stage, you need wiping the BB to release BBID since the blackberry... you can always do it later if your BBM contacts are empty on the iphone after installing.

(11) installation on the iPhone with your new BBID BBM (once again, if the contact list is not complete, then go back to the BB and do a security wipe). You may need to reinstall BBM on the iphone.

One last thing - realized I wasn't clear on the first part. If you do this, you will get all your contacts, but you their message you may be prompted to add, because of your change of BBID. It is pretty painless, but may be required for all contacts. (easier than adding them all manually, however).

OK, then's funny on your router as parameters not broadcasting is not the name of the network (SSID) or MAC filtering?

If not, we will run a Test on the printer's wireless network to do a self test and other wireless radio.

Styles of different notes in a single document - another approach

I'm working on a book that contains two types of notes:
- original notes of the author of a book - up to three on a spread, numbering restarts at each broadcast
- notes from the editor of the current edition - compatible numbering throughout history
I've prepared two different paragraph styles for them. The two types of notes may appear on a single page (some of them are even nested - comments from the editor of notes of the author, but we'll leave it for now).
I am aware that InDesign supports not multiple reference styles. I searched for the possible workaround on this forum and on the web, but could ' t find a satisfactory solution. Then I tryied on my own - my attempts are described below. It would be great if someone could suggest a better solution or fix my approach:
A. use standard notes feature for first style and anchored objects for the second:
That works very well with one exception - if there is more than one false note on a page (and oh yes, there are), they simply overlap rather than be stacked at the bottom of the main text block. I was hoping to solve that by using the wrap text property, however it has turned out that wrapping does not work between two anchored objects. Their adjustment position manually would be a pain in the case of any change.
B. let all notes as notes, but hiding their numbers
This one seemed smart enough, until I discovered this numbering does not work in the set of notes (each note is numbered '1'). InDesign seems to treat as separate stories, regardless of what the parameters of numbering of lists. AAARGH.
C. let all notes as notes, hiding their numbers, creating objects of the lively with reference numbers
This can actually work, but for me it is neither elegant nor reliable. For now I am stuck looking for a way to insert cross-references in the text of the notes automatically (there are about 250 notes, then that would be useful).
So that is where I am right now. All advice?

IMHO, the cooler is to make invisible the base (appeal and references) numbering notes replacing the note calls by a block of text, anchored with automatic numbering [2 = object styles styles para 2 + 2 lists numbering] and references the references on those paragraph styles 2 remark.

If you need a numbering on doc, easier, but if for example per page, just restart the 2 numbers per page for each page!

As the only 250 notes, do this manually! Not really need a script! It's very fast! (~ 1 hour to do!)

NOR-8452 Stream Mode more than 64 bit?

I I hava an ADC SPINNAKER which I want to read using the streams API for high (using the NOR-8452) conversion rate but want to read back all 7 channels ADC in a multiple of SPI read command. The maximum number of bits the stream API seems to bear is 64-bit, where I need to really read about 232 (7 x 32 + 8 for the read command). Is there a way to get around this?

I use the stream mode to detect a DRDY event, but once a single channel is read the output on the ADC chip is reset (so subsequent interruptions come from only on new data).

Else seems quite limited.

The payload you're trying to broadcast is not a standard for the SPI. We try to follow standards SPI and give you up to 64 bits to broadcast both. If you cannot split your readings at separate readings 64 bit, you will not be able to perform this operation with the 8452. If you had another interface, such as FPGAS, you my power to implement a protocol custom SPI on the FPGA. With 8452, however, you don't have these options.

I have a HF G40. Can I use the outputs on this camera livestream?

With my old camera i I could use the video output on it to connect to my laptop which is connected via fiber on the web. I used xsplit braodcaster as the software & just livestream via youtube. Is this possible with this device? There is a port mini hdmi & a video output on it. These can be used? There is also a micro usb port. I tried the usb port, but my computer does not recognize it. Has anyone tried this before? I love the photo, but my main use is livestreaming sports & need a device that can do it.

Live broadcast is not available via the USB port on your camcorder. While the HDMI streaming is not a supported feature, if you have a computer with a HDMI capture device, you can stream from this terminal.
