VERY slow mouse on my computer 9

I have been using the same computer to Core i7-920 for four years now.  Since I upgraded to VM Workstation 7 to 9, the mouse is very slow.  I have to double, triple and sometimes quadruple click here to get an answer.  There are times when there are 30 second delay between clicking and something happens.  This occurs on the virtual machine that I've had for a while and the new virtual machine that just places I.  I bought a new, faster, internal hard drive for the virtual machine on and which did not help.  It's to the point where using VM Workstation costs me more time than it saves.  Any suggestions?

The log file contains a large number of waiting times for the floppy drive, inputs on updates to automated tools as well as automatic snapshots. Please check the VMs and disable 'Connect to light' for the drive diskette and CD-ROM, and then in the 'Options' tab value "VMware Tools" updates 'Manually update' and 'Snapshots' set "Just power off" (unless it's something you want or need).

Our guys 'IT' knows all the fancy words for all the 'IT' stuff he does, but he has the patience to follow through and fix things until they are really fixed, it starts simply, then vibrates on a list of things to do after his departure... and it is overpriced, even if he was as good as he thinks he's.  But I have no say in this.  I'm not the admin PC I don't think, but I can run & install programs on the PC.  We use TrendMicro, which I'm not thrilled since I just cleaned my PC my 3rd year Trojan horse was not detected by T.M. but was detected by other things, such as MSE and MalwareBytes.  Where should I start, how to get it all cleaned up, & what should I do to keep it?

This problem is only firefox problem.

This problem apears when the part of the firefox window shows on the second monitor (or even 50 pixels)

Hey, I had the same problem and I solved it:
    1. - in the Firefox menu, display the Tools/Options.
    2. - unselect the checkbox "use hardware acceleration when available.
This should work better now. Apparently the hardware acceleration makes the problems only when the windows of Firefox appears in a non-primary screen (don't know why). Yes, I have an idea.

  • Computer is very slow and IE does not work all the time.

I bought a computer from my old employeer.  He is doing all sorts of things, or should I say not to do all sorts of things.  It is very slow and IE does not work all the time.  They have questions arise and ask if the administrator oks things and other things like that.  It came with any disks.  I would like to wipe, clean and load a new disc, but I don't know where to find the disc or if I can do it.   Can someone please?

    Hello

Proceed as follows to contribute to these two questions. You can probably buy the disks of Vista machine to system or get
the former employer to do it for you if necessary.

Try these and it can also be a good idea to update your main drivers later. The General corruption can also play a
role in this issue. And even the TCP/IP stack might need to be refreshed.

What antivirus/antispyware/security products do you have on the machine? Be one you ALREADY had on this
machine, including those you have uninstalled (they leave leftovers behind which can cause strange problems).

If no joy there's something blocking perhaps.

Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - IE with no Addons - what works best?

IE - Tools - Internet Options - Advanced - tab click on restore, and then click Reset - apply / OK

IE - Tools - Internet Options - Security tab - click on reset all default areas - apply / OK

Close and restart IE or IE with no addons

    not better?

IE - tools - manage Addons (for sure disable SSV2 if it is there, it is no longer necessary but Java always install
"(and it causes problems - you never update Java to go back in and turn it off again)." Search for other possible problems.

Windows Defender - tools - software explore - look for problems with programs that do not look right. Permit
are usually OK and "unauthorized" are not always bad. If in doubt about a program to ask about it here.

Could be that a BHO - BHOremover - free - standalone program, needs no installation, download and run - not all
are bad, but some can cause your question (toolbars are BHO).

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

How to install a device driver in Vista Device Manager
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-Device-Manager-install-driver.html

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
Updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it will not install the drivers that will be generally
older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it), then
get new manually if you wish.

  • Very slow ARD mouse movements

When checking my jobs local (same LAN) in ARD in macOS Sierra the mouse movement is very slow, are not smooth at all and the STI jumping cursor.

This was never the case with ARD in the previous versions of OS X as El Capitan. I use the exact same settings and configuration. Control ARD clients so got very boring now under Sierra.

Any ideas or others facing the same behavior?

    Thanks for your comments.

I'm really the only one having trouble with the mouse under ARD here?

I have a LAN local 1GbE very significant without bottleneck and change the color in ARD in black and white Mode has no influence at all for the risk mouse movement.

  • Computer is very slow with El Capitan

After the recent upgrade to El captain, my Macbook pro (13-inch, mid 2012) became very slow.

Starting, restarting, Safari, open programs... Wheel of Rainbow all the time.

If someone could help, I would be very much appreciated!

    Thank you!
