• Very strange problem with quick mask

  Hoping someone can help me with a very strange problem that just started to happen when I enter the quick mask in PS CS5. Let me guide you through the problem.

  (1) I opened my image in PS, go in the Mode mask quick and 'paint' my image in translucent red with a brush (100% of opacity, brush, etc. normal mode).

  

  (2) once I fully painted my picture in translucent red, I leave the Quick Mask mode and the area outside the translucent red is selected. I hit M for the marquee tool, right-click on the picture I have just painted and choose 'Select inverse', which then selects everything within the translucent red area (note that I made this a million times over the years).

  

  (3) my image is now selected. In general, what I do now is cut (cmd + x) that selected the image and paste it into another canvas, generally where is my biggest project. Whenever I did it, the image cuts and fits exactly as it is seen and leaves an empty space in the original image. However, when I cut it now, it seems to cut a transparent version, leaving behind a transparent 'ghost' of the original image.

  

  (4) then when I paste the image cut in a new canvas, it is transparent as a default value.

  

  I checked the transparency of all the paintings, and they are set to 100%. As I already said, I cut from images of no solid media using the quick mask all the time and it's never happened before. In fact, I made this weekend and it has only just begun in the last hour, so I think I clearly something clicked or activated a parameter without realizing account!

  In considering this explanation, I hope someone knows what is causing my pictures to cut and paste transparent after that I used the quick mask. It certainly is driving me crazy!

  In your first screenshot the color of foreground in the Toolbox is not 100% black (RGB 0,0,0)

  Until you try the quick mask, press D to set the foreground on black (RGB 0,0,0)

• Very strange problem of EA7500

  I just bought a router EA7500 Max Stream, but I'm having a strange problem. I run the present in the living room with an access point on the floor for the whole House has a unique SSID. • A very strange problem with DVD player (some DVD play not)

  Hello everyone.

  I bought a laptop Dell Inspiron 3543 2 months ago. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product, but I have a problem with the DVD player. When I insert some DVD discs, the driver reads some DVDs but not others. After trying to play DVDs, I see that the DVD player play about half of the DVD I'm looking for. Although I can guarantee, I didn't send my laptop to the service because I can't work even a day without my cell phone. So, in order to solve the problem, I bought a DVD player new, original Dell (the same model of dvd player, which is Panasonic Matshita DVD +-RW UJ8E2). Today I started using my new DVD player, but it also has the same problem as my old DVD drive or it also does not play some DVD.

  To make the issue even more strange, here are some details:

  -My dvd drives have no problem and I have tried many original DVDs (especially the original films). And all the dvd disks that do not play on my computer play on other computers with no problems. There is no problem with the disks.

  -Certainly no problem with the "DVD region Code". I use original DVDs with region code 2, which is the area code for my country.

  -All my drivers, the operating system and the dvd drive drivers are up to date. When I look at my DVD drive properties, it is written that "the dvd drive works properly.

  -When I insert a DVD disc, if my DVD player he plays, he plays each time. But if my dvd player does not play a dvd, and then he never plays it. So, there is a consistency in the dvd disc set to play or not. When a DVD disc does not play, my DVD player rolls the drive some time and then the DVD done pretending as if there is no disc in the drive.

  -Both my old and newly purchased DVD drives have exactly the same problem, so I think that there's no problem like a lens dirty. I also think that there is no mechanical problem with one of my DVD drives because my newly purchased, original DVD player also has the same problem.

  Today, I received my dvd player third, new, Chinese, not original from a seller of spare part. He plays all DVDs with no problems. :)

  If in the future someone always has the same problem as me and read this Web page to find a solution, you know where is the problem.

• I am having a very strange problem with WMP 12 in WINDOWS 7

  Hello. I could use some help. A bit of background. HP can not solve the problem (I have a contract with the manufacturing service). I used this drive for 2 years without a lot of questions. I have more than 400 albums in my library.

  I got a new CD, sealed in its original packaging. The 1st thing I always do when adding new items to my library's copy of the disc. After that I tear to the library. Then I play WMP 12 on my desk. Everything was going well until the runway 13, when, after 00:28 seconds, he stopped play. I think a lot I have to send this back CD. Then after still ongoing at 01:16 he started playing again!

  I thought it was a little weird, I played both the original and the copy in my drive, they played very well. On my laptop, I played the original, he played without a break. I ripped the album to WMP 11 on my laptop and then saved on a flash drive. I used the flash drive to load the album to my office (WMP 12). He stopped playing exactly like the CD! Then I played the music taken from my Amazon music player and it plays very well.

  Please help, I know it seems trivial, but it drives me crazy (OCD, what can I say?).

  I read your Q When you first published and have waited to see if anyone has offered anything. Silence came the strong response! It is as you say - a strange. Track is playing well in one system and not another, etc.

  The only suggestion I can think of is open the file in an editor such as "Audacity" and that might give you a clue as to if there is a mistake that he stops playing and also a way to re - store version of wav music file seamlessly. It depends on how your OCD is ready to take you...!  :-) - you may need to download install and learn how use Audacity if you are not already using it or something similar.

• A very strange problem 'link '...

  Hey everybody,

  I came across a weird problem today. I was testing the links in my navigation bar on my computer (Chrome and firefox) on a basic site which has only three pages - index, a blog page and a section of the page. Loading the page index very well. And loading the next page I click very well, either the blog or article page; However, while in one of these two pages, I can no longer use the links in the nav bar as in the address bar, a prefix is added to the destination. Here is an example:

  When I load the index page cela its displayed in the address bar and everything works:... 20Pablo%203/index.html

  When I click on one of the other links, we will tell the blog page is displays and everything is fine... 20Pablo%203/blog/bloghome.html

  But while in the blog page and I click on the page of the article, it is displayed and not everything is beueno: 20Pablo % 203/blog/articles/articlehome.html

  He added the blog prefix of the previous directory. This problem now works vice versa if the I had to click on the link of the article first and then try to enter the page of the blog. It also effects the index page, if after going to the page of blog or article, I then tried to return to the index, it will take on the additional prefix blog or article and break the link.

• Very strange problem with my graphics card.

  Hello, I run Vista 64-bit.

  I have a pavillion desktop computer with which I mainly game and go to the web with. After a year of perfection, 20 days guaranteed since the computer goes through a horrible string of accidents. He started while going through the web, then ingame, for some time I couldn't even load past my password without crashing. After a while, I could finally access my desktop without the accident and run internet as well as a few other programs.

  Contact the manufacturer of your computer, ask them if your model is immune to nividia graphics card number, because this has happened to many new computers with graphics card NIVIDIA so some companies like sony said they have expanded their repair for 3 years after the warranty period. If the problem is caused by the graphic driver then repair and delivery costs will be covered by the manufacturer. If you still under warranty then definitely contact them. (you should be able to do online, if you have another pc)

  I've been busy with a problem on a C660-115 wireless, always without success.

  Windows 7 - 64 bit

  The case:
  -Laptop is connected to the power supply: Wifi works fine, no problem
  -Laptop power supply disconnected: Wifi does not work, although there sometimes seems to be a link with the router access point/wifi.
  No internet/network communication
  -Laptop computer connected to power--> wifi works, unplug the power--> after a 1/2 minute or two, no internet connection...

  I tried to find a new driver, but we already use it the latest version.
  Then I turned off the feature "this computer can switch of this device to save power", without success.

  Ideas anyone?

• Very strange problem with WRT160N

  For some reason, other devices (in this case, a laptop and Ipod) suddenly lost the ability to connect to the wireless router.

  They worked fine yesterday, but now they do not have.

  I tried to update the formware, I tried resetting the router a re-doing the settings, I tried power cycling the router, and none of it works.

  The laptop and Ipod can see the network but cannot connect to it. The laptop says the connection is strong, but it still fails to connect.

  I've had this router for almost four years and have never had this problem before, at least to that degree. Front, power cycling the router and/or re-start the laptop or PC still worked.

  What could be the problem?

• Very strange problem of leadership. List()

  I have a Java stored in the Oracle 11g DB procedure. What it does is to read the files in a Unix directory then turns and works with files. I use this exact way in other SPs of Java, but always to a different directory in Unix. This is the first time I'm having this problem.

  What is the problem is that on this directory List() returns only one (1) entry in the table that captures the results. This particular entry is a subdirectory.

  It is possible that it is more a question of a Java Unix, but I don't know that, and I want to diagnose what is happening. I worked with the DBA and he opened the permissions on this directory and all the files into it in the world, and yet this one entry - always the same - is returned.

  This isn't a filtering problem, as I have said that list() - without the filter passed in - always only returns this article. I checked the readability, that I was checking everything I could think, using canRead() on the directory and it returns true, in case anyone asks.

  If I run the code in a program that run from the Unix command prompt, it works fine. If I run the same MS Java in another directory to Unix, it works fine.

  If anyone can think of anything else to check, I would have a lot. Thank you

  As far as we know, that the procedure returns the correct results; We have no way of knowing what the results should be, or even what they are really since you don't post them.

  You make a lot of statements but have not posted anything to show that the statements are true even.

• Some very strange problems with zoom in/out effect on a still image

  I try to do the zoom and effects. I use these effects to animate still images.

  To make, I use the standard "Motion" effect. I just put a keyframe [at the beginning of my image] and set the scale to 100% (for example), then I do another keyframe [at the end of my image] and set scale here about 150%. It works, but the result is terrible.

  When I start to play my animated picture effects (zoom in/out) distort my image. I'm starting to see a few lines in the whole of my image and it irritates my eyes really. I've seen these awful zoom when I used Ulead or Sony Vegas.

  I think I did something wrong. Can you help me solve this problem ?

  This distortion appears also when trying to animate my image using which and YPostion of the "Motion" effect

  I guess someone can not understand me and I decided to attach some files here. First is an original image without distortion. Second is this image with distortion. And the third is just my setting of this effect of "Motion".

  In conclusion: "Scale to the size of the image" is disabled. The size of my image is 2816 x 2112.

  Create a new sequence with progressive settings and import are your photos or existing sequence.

• Very strange problem

  I hace been trying to get a stored procedure to work and it does not display the content, so I tried to make a request online
  hoping to understand what is happening. This isn't a cache problem and I was remove pages and put a new page on the site as you can see the WWWWWWWWWWWW make their appearance then TTTTTTTTTTTT is asked in the page. Also reference a variable that is not yet on the page, but it is a column in the row. (see above).

  In the CF administrator, in the settings section, there is a checkbox "Save."
  class files. Uncheck the box. Delete all files in the WEB-INF/cfclasses
  dir. restart CF. Retest.

• Having a very strange problem with Yosemite and Indesign CC 2014.

  I have a configuration of two screens, one for the tools and the floating palettes. When I use InDesign CC 2014 with Yosemite 10.10.2 pallets dock well below the background screens, obscuring the low tools and rendering tools does not. This does not happen with Photoshop or Illustrator. Someone has an idea on how to AFI to slam?

  

  Search on the forum and you will find many other glitches since Yosemite 10.10.2 and using a second screen. The answer is not found (change the layout of the height of your screen in the view of Mac OS X preferences, align your second screen at the bottom or in the middle)

• Very strange problem first 4

  I have CS4, I was sent just two jpeg files by someone that I'm creating a video brochure.  They are the front and back of the flyer leaflet.

  When I go to open these files in first, this allows me to import, drag them into the timeline, but they are not visible at all.

  Other JPEG files open fine in first in addition to these two.  I am able to open them in Photoshop.  I tried to save them in jpeg with a different name, they also will not open in first.  I even tried to use the magic wand tool, copy sections I need for video, opening a new document, paste what I had, save as a jpeg and EVEN that they are not visible at first.

  I don't understand at all, and it is really breaking up of my movement forward on this project.  Any help would be really appreciated.
