• BlackBerry smartphones another little question from a novice on windows authentication

  Hi, I posted a question a few weeks ago, to summarize, I recently dumped my treo for the new storm.  I enjoy them until now, but I have a question to get connected to a windows site.

  I use logmein for mobile access, (www.logmein.com), it's like gotomypc, but free and I used to be able to log in with my treo smartphone, but I'm having a problem on my BB.  I spend all the stuff (on the site of logmein) html Web page and get to the point where I have to put the password for the computer that I'm remote'ing.  The phone's browser has "Windows authentication" in the upper part, followed by three text fields, username, PW and domain.  I don't have a domain, but when I entered the username and password, I can't select the "login" link just in the middle of the page at the bottom. "

  I tried everything, he can't know.  Also, on this screen, zoom and other "typical" controls are not available, as the keyboard and a few other navigation options (none is "next" or "enter")...  Oh, and another thing, when I click on the screen where the "login" link is, it locks the keyboard back to the top and sometimes wipes all the text on the fields?...

  OK, so I cut a part of one of my songs to create an effect of stammering (since I dragged the word).  What I want to know is, since the hearing remembers that recording is still together (even if the pieces is cut out), how can I save the fragments of the track as different files or apply effects to them separately?  To give you an idea of what I mean, here's a bit of illustration.

  This is only true in multitrack view. If you transfer your voice to the edit view track, make a copy and use to create stuttering, then you can save it as a jerky track - or many different if you wish. Changes to editing are, after all, destructive - and this is the main difference between them. If you save your file with gaps, this is exactly how it will play in the back, and exactly how it will appear in MV. So if you then post these new songs in multitrack view, you can apply effects their as any other track. If you put them all on a track, you can even apply different effects to different places, even if you have to be a bit sneaky with controllers to do this. If you want different effects on different pieces of singing without everything that bothers if you better put the relevant clips to different tracks, I think.

  So how can apply an effect (in this case, pitch-shifter), separately for each of these fragments?  Thanks in advance for your help.

  The best way to do it (even if it is of course destructive) is almost certainly to treat the voice in the edit mode and do exactly as you want it. It is not impossible to do this in MV, just more difficult.

• Optimized WLan keyboard Android (PA3959U) - Galaxy S3 typing question

  I bought this keyboard today and paired very well to my Samsung Galaxy S3, which I would like to have an external keyboard for email etc.

  It works "kind of" until I continue to type something happens where he jumps in the characters of the CAPS and the space bar no longer works. Until I press the 'internet' shortcut key then it works normally again for a sentence or 2, then flips back to CAPS and not more than space.

  I'm probably going to get a refund on this keyboard tomorrow, but thought that posting a little question here to see if anyone has experienced this problem or knows how to fix it before I return it?

  1 No. as far as I know that's not possible, but if you don't need this application just go to exit and stop it running in the background. You can start it again whenever you want.
  2. you can turn off this notification in RUN > MSCONFIG > Startup tab. I don't know how is the right name, but you'll find it here. Just remove the check mark in front of it and it will never start.
  3. new notebook models are supplied without recovery DVD and you must go alone. Toshiba has created little reminder and this reminder should say that you please do not forget to create the recovery DVD. So please do use "Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator. This support of installations, you can use for the installation of Vista more far. I recommend you to use only DVD-R media. TRORDCLauncher's Recovery Disc Creator Launcher. When the recovery DVD is created, you can delete the system applications.
  4. Yes you can remove the system. How? Control Panel > programs and features > there is the list of all software pre-installed. Click the application that you want to remove and click on the option uninstall.

  You can check with your hardware vendor (server) if it takes support LACP & LAG.  You will need to configure LACP wich switch LACP support.

  Try to use the lock icon just to the right of 'the eye' for a layer. The second layer should align based on this position.

  Pre 11G, all user information and data were in DB, now in 11 G via LDAP synchronization, you can have at least the information user in OID via LDAP Sync. You though it would take the db. You can configure this installation of the post too.

  (2) what is the role of SOA following IOM? can I install IOM and SOA suite on two separate servers in WL and still not integrated?

  SOA is used for the approval in 11G via the BPEL in SOA component. This version, you can not SOA outside of the field then IOM, but you can surely make them run on separate machines/boxes.

  MDS is another type of repository to keep metadata related plugins, managers and other artifacts.

  (4) what is a manager at a distance?

  Remote Manager is used to connect to systems that do not provide for any kind of service APIs, but must still be managed by the IOM. It is necessary for the IOM to connect to these systems and perform the operations of the identity.

  I have three questions from beginner to Adobe Captivate 3.

  1. I noticed that CP3 only creates SWF files.  Why not offer the possibility to create an FLV file in the final product?  What is the difference between a SWF file and a FLV?

  2. I want my finished product for a single slide with a picture in the background and some areas of reversal.  It seems that no matter what I do, the blade is not fixed, but faints and disappears after the default time of 3.3 seconds.  How can I achieve making the slide remains in place, not disappear, and behave as I want?

  3. I want to do a slide that has a video autoplay Flash on it (this part I know how to do), but I want the slide to move to another slide specified when the video ends, without user action.  How can I do?

  CP3 does not FLV because it was not part of the specification for CP3. I don't know why it is like that. Maybe the Captivate development team knows for sure. In any case, Captivate 5 was recently released. If the point is little questionable, right?

  Regarding the second part of this question, SWF can have interactivity such as bearings or clickable areas or buttons that perform different actions. FLV is usually just a video, just like a DVD movie that you watch passively, and you do not participate.

  You can get there. Just insert a click box and time it so it suspends the slide at the right time.

  So now you change course on us? You said to question 2 you want the finished product is a single slide! This is perhaps another project, you're talking about.

  If you examine the properties of the slide, you will discover a labeled area of Navigation. Using this box, you can choose to navigate to another slide when it finishes playing.

• How can I access to my apple for facetime on MAC ID?

  Hello! OK, so I bought an ALL NEW 15 inch MacBook Pro earlier this afternoon. Brought it home, was so excited to start implementation. at start-up, my Apple ID would not even PASS THROUGH. Just after filming on and outside several times, I decided to go through the installation process without connect to my iCloud account. I decided that I would do it later. I signed up with success, through my system preferences. Once which was put in place, I went to to connect to facetime and messages. Nor would allow me to log in. Long story short - I spent 8 hours on the phone with Apple Care. 5 different representatives, 1 being the leaders of the headquarters... He wanted me to completely reinstall my hard drive. WITH MY NEW COMPUTER. I said no and took my computer just back to the Apple Store. The answer I received from workers on the Apple Store, it's that there is an error with FaceTime and the Message with the new software which has just been launched earlier by 15:00 today, all the apps. I think even this includes iTunes because my computer still won't let me log into that. They said it should be fixed within 24 hours. I hope this helps.

  So, the problem is most likely being caused by a glitch rather than a hardware failure firmware or software. At this point, your self-service option only will out perform a "factory reset" to restore all the software to the State it would have had to be when you 1st Tablet unboxed. Well that takes about 1/2 hour, it works for most without supervision. Once the initial restore is complete, you can choose to interrupt updates download long enough to set up a user account and see if the capricious key problem has not changed. If fixed, then resume the installation of all remaining updates & retest button. If the problem persists after that, I suggest that you contact HP Technical Support; at that point, they will be probably unable to solve this problem by phone, but I think it will be useful to contact them quickly if the button is not yet answer correctly - and get a file assigned to the incident number. However, if they propose to exchange your tablet, it would be most likely replaced by a remanufactured - device that not an attactive option would consider your tablet is brand new. If all goes well, the location where you purchased your Omni has a relatively painless performance ~ political exchange that allows you to exchange your Omni to another. However, you may file this application number assigned by HP, to convince them to take you harder than a whiny typical...

  I am vocal recording speech (no singing) I'm looking for a sound that is as close to my natural voice.

  Material

  Well, I listened to the samples. As I suspected, the untreated is more useful as the basic registration is concerned. You speak quietly enough, and I hear a lot of noise. I suppose a lot of it is noise preamp, and that initially, you must do two things. You must be not more than 200mm (8 '') from the microphone and speaking a little above and not directly to it. In addition, do it slightly higher or lower than your level of the mouth. This reduces the chances of the noise of 'breath' of your breath. And if the noise level with regard to the level of the signal is anything to go by, you need to increase the gain of the preamp for a bit (the "input" button on the preamp). That way you will end up by with a more "intimate" sound and less noise preamp. You will find yourself also with its less "room", and I don't think that is at the present time, help you a lot.

  The noise is less here, it is easy to treat. The most important thing to remember is that you should not try to get rid of all this - that sounds just unnatural and people are pretty put off by that - they like to listen to real people human. And it also means leaving the natural breath noise, even if you don't want them at a high level. This means that the noise reduction is concerned, is that you have to listen carefully to the results and expect to be move the sliders. Also you should not try to make any reduction at once; you will get much better results by removing only a little noise to one pass and then change the size of the FFT (personally I always get better with much larger settings) and then do another passage, also without taking much away. This at least three times and you will end up with much less noise, and there's not all this "pumping" between words. But as I said, don't remove it completely. You should aim for a noise about, let's say - 55dB when the peak level is closer to - 3dB or which sounds so - fine.

  Regarding monitoring, headphones are very well, and you have to wear them while you record, especially when configuring. By experimenting directly, you should easily be able to find a place where you don't cause problems for yourself and even more intimate sound. This is another advantage to be closer to a cardioid microphone (which is the perception) - you will have a slight sharpening of the bass to your voice closer you. There is a good reason for this, but I won't bore you with the details here. Don't have too high headphone level, or it could cross into the microphone and which will not help in the slightest.

  As much as any other treatment is concerned, you can find while using only a limiter to stop the major summits of the signal is all you need - it certainly shouldn't be; carefully recorded speech shouldn't need a lot of treatment at all.
