• Whenever I play youtube videos, they shake from left to right and to go at different speeds.

  I have windows 7. A couple of days, I went to play youtube videos and they all shake from left to right and go at different speeds (very erratic). This ONLY happens with videos from youtube (HTML5). When I play other videos(non-HTML5), they play very well. Also, the sound on youtube videos are fine, only they do not match the mouth (s) of people talking. The mouth move faster. I've checked all my plug-ins and everything is up-to-date.   I have a HP Officejet Pro 8500 has more who struggled to properly perform the analyses of the ADF.  It seems that is happening WITH PDF FILES.  The ADF will get out the paper at different speeds, creating the effect below.  When it goes faster (you can hear it speed up), you get the lines; When he finds the right speed, you get what is digitization of bottom-good copy.  It seems to work correctly in photo mode, etc. - ONLY WITH PDFS.  Sometimes, it can properly analyze dozens of pages (and did very well in the past), and now he has started to do this.

  I cleaned the rollers, but appear not to be the problem if it happens only with PDFs.  I cleaned the glass of 1 inch Strip, but would not be the problem either if the bottom of the page (or top or wherever it happens to go faster) has NO scratches on it).  I have looked at post after post and cannot understand it.  What could be wrong! ???

  BTW, I have a Windows 7 64 bit computer that I use with it.

  I'll give you a link which deals with topics of the ADF.  Click here  This will show you all the ADF areas that need to be cleaned.  A wet coffee filter is a good tool for the cleaning of the rollers.  Alcohol friction broken residue sliding in this situation, but for a regular cleaning, I would recommend distilled, filtered or bottled water.  Nice day!

  You can certainly achieve this effect in the Muse. Try to use less scrolling for filling frame and then apply speed according to the frame to fill to main content going on Passover with images filling.

• RS-232 different speed on console vs window

  I have a simple application that I made to test the flow of data from a device.  I had trouble with slow communications with another program, so I wrote this one to test only RS-232 communications. My problem is that I get the result differs depending on whether I have compiling the program as a console application or a windowed application.

  My device sends packets of 70 bytes message at 100 Hz using 460800 baud, 8-N-1.  I use a USB adapter for series, which is supposed to support the baud rate.  Using the console application, I get about 7 000 bytes per second, which is what I expect.  However, when you run a windowed application, I get about 34 bytes/second.  Anyone got any ideas on why there is such a big difference?  (CVI 2013 on Win7)

  Your program GUI can be affected by the CVI political intelligence defined in the environment options.

  I seem to remember that the value default for this setting is to sleep more, which means THAT CVI give much time to the operating system to serve other tasks or programs. You can try with some sleep or not sleep; in the latter case, don't forget to insert some ProcessSystemEvents somewhere in your application to allow to honor events of UI in the case otherwise you will not be able to exit the loop.

  It depends on what exactly you are trying to do, but no, do not load these settings whenever you make a move.

  There are many examples of work off this ship with NOR-Motion in LabVIEW. I recommend you take a peek at the sequence of an axis moves, you can find by going to help > find examples > material input and output > Motion Control > OR 73xx > move straight line.

• Finished samples timed material vs single-point: different speed?

  Although I had several questions about this request before that separately have been resolved, there is one last thing that remains difficult.

  Shortly:

  My application acquires data from 2 analog and synchronous inputs on 2 channels of analog output.

  There is a trigger stop set on a PFI-pipe with a single switch. To make of this

  I had to switch from single-point over acquition timed work material.

  This set works very well when I read not less then a 100 samples once with a sampling of 1000 Hz. frequency (when I go below a sample of 100 to read--> E-200279)

  Ideally, I would like to read about 10 samples with a sampling frequency of 1000 Hz.

  However, using single-point timed equipment acquisition I can easily do that without a problem. Even just reading

  a single sample once with a sampling frequency of 1000 Hz does not have a problem. But impossible to use the block of relaxation of reference as a signal to stop with this setting!

  Question:

  For me, there are two solutions, but so far I could not work on one of them:

  (1) build a stop trigger in an single point of timed material acquisition

  (2) change something in the acquisition of finished so that I can read faster.

  Any suggestions, what causes the difference between the two speeds to be able to read the data and a way to solve it?

  I mocked how I think I would like to address the issue and tied it to the top.  The general idea is that we use HWTSP for our analog I/o and counter looking edges on our signal "stop".  Each iteration of the loop, we check if we saw the stop signal.  If we have, then we write zero for the output channels and stop the loop.  If this isn't the case, write us the data of your comments, we have calculated.  I've added some comments on the block diagram that I hope are useful.  I have currently no any material of series E share, so it may not work properly out of the box, but I thought it would point you in the right direction.

  I offer this precaution:

  Windows is not a real-time operating system.  Therefore, it may take the liberty to give as much CPU time to other processes or applications as he likes.  As a result, it is likely that you will not miss a few samples (IE, your loop will not go faster hardware issues are examples of clock).  I configured DAQmx must return a warning you when this happens.

  I have a group of hosts, each with 2 10 ports and 1 4 ports.  We have recently added the infrastructure rather than use the ports of 10G and I wrestle 2 options for migration:

  (1) put in place a new VDS for 10 G ports and then migrate the groups of ports, or

  (2) add 10 G ports to the current group of ports and make.  However, it will mean that the VDS will be ports 10 G and 1 G on it.  It sticks through them send me a 24 GB of theoretical bandwidth?

  If it is technically possible to create a single pool of uplinks with joint port speeds, it is not a good idea. You can, however, build a port channel with a joint port speeds.

  A pair of 10 GbE ports should be more than enough for the large number of use cases. You can also use a pair of 1 GbE ports for the ESXi if desired or required, management traffic but that means increased complexity and the consumption of upstream port wiring.

• DAQmx newspaper read and data at different speeds

  I use DAQmx to make playback of analog input.  I would like the data be datalogged by TDMS at 1000 Hz.  However, I want to only read data at 10 Hz.  Is there a preferred method to do?  The photo below shows what I have so far.  (Note that this image is a simplification of the routine I use DAQmx)

  

  As you can see, I put the sample clock at 1000 Hz.  This forces TDMS datalogging at 1000 Hz.  Then I have a while loop that runs at 10 Hz with a read operation inside DAQmx.  For the moment, I have to read all THE data buffer at each iteration of the loop.  However, I am only interested in reading 1 sample of each channel for each iteration of the loop.  (I finally take this sample 1/channel at 10 Hz and push it into a plot for the Viewer)

  Is there a way to read only the latest data for each channel and then to clear the buffer, such that I don't get a buffer overrun error when DAQmx see that I have not read all the data?  It seems inefficient to me and read all the data indexing, then only on the first column.  Am I missing something, or is this method very well?

  I would probably just go out of the wait function, read 100 samples per loop explicitly and index on the last sample for display on your screen (or 100 samples on average).

  Recently, I downloaded my photos on an external hard drive, Toshiba. The first backup took 6 hours. I have always heard that a fire wire is faster. Is it useful to make a fire wire to perform this operation? I use a HP Pavilion m9040n with windows 7. I have an IEEE 1394 port in the front and the back of the computer. What rates are associated with a USB port and a cable fire? Thank you

  Since you have a HP Pavilion m9040n - I guess that's when even USB2 you have there.

  There is not only a large part of the differences imho. I tested both and in my case usb2 was a little faster.

  Much has changed since the introduction of the USB3, but unfortunately it is not available on your PC.

• Update ESXi3.5 to ESXi4 with limited RAM

  Hello

  I'm new to VMware and I have converted the desktop PC in ESXi servers for learning technology. Currently, a desktop P4-EM64T enabled with 1 GB of RAM is running ESXi3.5 and I plan to update to ESXi4 after adding another 1 GB. I have a few question for experts to clarify.

  (1) the 1 GB of RAM already present in the desktop computer's type DDR1 and shown only 986 MB in the bios, so if I add an another 1 GB total will be close to 1 800 MB and not 2 GB, what is the minimum RAM required for ESXi4. I'm still able to install ESXi4?

  (2) the processor is 64-bit P4 and active hyperthreading so would it be compatible with the ESXi4 that I don't know the difference between the processor with native support for 64-bit and 64-bit computing active. Please enlighten me.

  I have already invested a lot for the material and I want to wisely use the money on the purchase of more equipment. Please help me by clarifying the questions above.

  What is the processor Intel REAL? Search the ultimate site Whitebox ESX (www.ultimatewhitebox.com) to see if it supports (or is supported / tested for) ESX/ESXi 4 or not...

  2 GB of RAM is the MINIMUM you need to install or use ESX/ESXi 4... Just saw that means you might be able to run a VM, then again, you might not. A more realistic minimum RAM is 4 GB, with 8GB (or more) being much better.

  You need to enable virtualization in the bios to start THAT ALL 64-bit VM on these systems. Otherwise, you're stuck only 32-bit clients.

  I recommend to install 4u1 ESXi on a USB stick (at least 2 GB in size) and which allows to test each system to see IF you can even run ESXi 4u1 on them. You can easily run questions with unsupported on-board hard disk controller, or another key (for example, the map NETWORK) was not supported and then you down until you can actually get more material which will ESXi4...

  I'm actually starting a server Dell PowerEdge 860 with 4 GB RAM, no HDD inside, with a processor Intel Pentium D 915 (dual core, 64-bit) as a test. I installed ESXi4u1 on the 2 GB USB flash drive not that long ago and has been able to run it on some other systems. It shows the processor correctly (on the splash screen), but also the ESXi to build number (244038) everything is OK... Just waiting for the last piece of load before I connect from my main work system.

  To be completely honest, just because you've managed to get some PC workstation in to run ESXi 3.5 by a simple memory increase no way guarantee will allow you to run ESXi 4... There are several parts of a system that must be compatible / correct before you will be able to use the product. You'd be better off getting systems that have components listed on the VMware HCL so you don't need to worry... I speak entirely supported processors, speed variators (hardware RAID), memory of the quantities (go beyond the minimum of bone bare) and even the hard drives themselves.

  Since the beginning of this message, the server PE860 is completely restarted in ESXi 4 and works. I have no need to assign a NETWORK adapter for the management network, before he could ping and others, but once that it is fully operational. The beauty of the use of the USB to test, it's that you don't need to jump through lots of hoops to get ESXi installed 4u1. You just need to be able to boot from USB (on the system that you want to use/test) and then do it.
