Video editing in Audition 3

I use Adobe Audition 1.5 for a while, and am considering the upgrade of Audition 3.

The data sheet says "Edit video Bo easily with the ability to view video images in the timeline and import and export video files, including." AVI, DV native, and. WMV. »

What I want to do is to work on the audio of an existing DVD and then reburn a new DVD with audio improved. I need not make a video montage. I can do this exclusively in the hearing (or hearing and the functions of Windows)? Otherwise, what is the least expensive additional software that I have to complete the hearing to do this?

As long as the file is in a format that Soundbooth both hearing recognize, then Yes--with impunity. So, if you record what you are working on a Wav file (that is to say, not compressed and lossless) you can open this in Audition, work on it, close it, and reopen it in Soundbooth. And as long as you have not changed the length of it, it will fall back in where it was very well.

  • Correspondence of time remapping with ramps for video editing of first CC 2015/output

I would like to ask experts, which will be the best workflow...

    Location:

I have the project with 50 + video segments where I have to slow down part of the clip to highlight some details (in my case - CIRC. enduro motorcycle - need to slow down the part where is visible some technical riding etc.).

I use bulit Premiere Pro CC 2015 in the tools of the keyframe to select two points between where I change the speed for example at 50%. First has nice handles around the keyframes where I can create smooth ramp, so the change in speed is graduated.

    Insofar as simple here s

But the first will not do the same with audio track associated with each clip. In the audio is for his example of the motorcycle.

I need to have his original when the video is playing at 100% speed and its different from "lower pitch" when is slowed down and once again normal sound when is 100% video speed on the end.

So I edited each audio segment to the points of the time remap keyframes, manually set the speed of the middle section and - it s horrible. Video slows gently while it is quite annoying audio changes.

I need to make the same effect as what we were doing with Ribbon old VCRs in television production - smooth audio ramp corresponding to the video and return to full speed.

As my knowledge about hearing is close to zero - I would like to ask at the front to start learning - I can do up in the hearing? What I have to do it every time from scratch or can I use existing keys from first images? Anyway how above 'automatic '? What workflow you have advice when I need to do it quite often many of these clips?

Thank you much for the help.

    P. S. tried to find out, after a while with the help chat online too...

Most of the discussions and tutorials is very old - there may be some new features in CC 2015 in order to do compare with 2011 toolset or almost. And in many video tutorials only covered - they talk about audio at all. But for audio track that I use, is the audio very good.

Here is an example of a part of the timeline. I needed this project to do quickly, I decided to stretch the entire audio segments to match the new length of the video. It s not correct but it sounds better then it divides in three parts with a slow speed in the middle. Just to match audio speed changes in the Panel of video editing

    time.JPG

Not sure about the exchange of workflow with first for this type of effect.

However the hearing can make the effect of change of speed/not very well using effects/time and Pitch/Pitch Bender. This uses a waveform envelope on with keyframes to vary the height must therefore ideal for your needs. In order to see where on the waveform, you need to place keyframes without doubt the best way is to place markers on audio in first at beginning and end of each ramp. These should be done through when you export audio in Audition where you should be able to match Pitch Bend keyframes to markers.

  • Help in obtaining loans for a simple video editing MBP

I am trying to put things in place on a slightly older Macbook Pro.

    Here is my system configurations:

OS X Version of El Capitan 10.11.5

    The MacBook Pro mid-2010

Processor: 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

    Memory 4 GB 1067 < Hz DDR3

NVIDIA GeForce 320 M 256 MB graphics card

I learned that my GPU's massively underpowered, i.e. 256 MB of VRAM is much too small.

Through my research, I also determined that the GPU can be replaced, because I think it is welded in to the motherboard.

In addition, my hard drive is probably not good either, quite right? Core 2 duo of is not as good as the new i7. So what are my options?

I used to be able to run at least iMovie and slap some clips together for short videos, even add music. I lost iMovie during the upgrade to Yosemite and am trying to figure out if it's worth trying again (for $15). Before that I tried Davinci resolve 12.5 (which is more than my computer can manipulate wayyy), and then I even tried the GoPro simple studio software. Turns out that GoPro software is not that simple if you're not using images of the GoPro and my computer was struggling to convert, rendering, see even the files. And I don't think I'd be able to make the colors in GoPro calibration software, so I'm a little more than. I don't think I need all the features of Final Cut Pro, as I'm looking to throw together a few vacation pictures and some pictures again, also a timelapse here and there in the video, etc.

I want to mention the GoPro software comes to losing me a lot of cred in this question, but this is where I am. I don't want to really go out and start building a computer for video editing (although it seems I could do relatively cheap ~ $ 600)

Thoughts? Suggestions? What would you do if you could do it again?

In addition, the camera that I mainly record the images and still images is a Panasonic G6

    Thanks for any help!

What about iMovie. . . have you tried looking in your AppStore account to see if it is still available as a free download?

It is likely that you will not be able to install FCP X directly from the app store on your computer, probably, he does not meet the minimum specs for the latest version.

However, you can download on a Mac more modern and copy it to all but you really need a more powerful Mac.

You can download a free 30-day trial version to see if it will work in terms of: -.

  • iMovie video editing problem.

I really need help, well my iMovie trying to edit and cut the clips I want, the music video for hole lighting in yellow music video for hole. It won't let me choose parts of the video clips that I need.

I have to start from the beginning of the video clip and then do scroll down to the end of the video clip making the yellow light mounting bar high to the point where I want to stop at.

Can anyone please help me because I want to return to normal to where I can just take my starting point in the clip video editing I want but it keeps on high clip the entire video of light yellow

I also uninstalled the program and installed back but he continues to do

Another thing to is that my video with cutting parts not work either when I try to highlight the parts I want to cut out.

Do you mean that it highlights the full clip in the browser before drag you it into your project? I don't think that there is a way to choose a starting point there but if slide you in your project, you can find the place you want to cut, and then select the command-B (Split clip). This he divided into two parts and you can remove the part you want.

  • What would be the best video editing and photo editing software to use for an iMac for advanced users?

My first exposure to video and photo editing is on a PC with Adobe Premier and Adobe Photoshop. I own a Macbook Air and have used iMovie and iPhoto. It took me a few years to sort and organize thousands of photos archived and videos. Now, with the changes in Final Cut Pro and the loss of the opening, I am, even once, sitting on the fence. Compatibility between the software has always been a controversial issue and that you accumulate more and more files, it would be nice if Apple should keep in mind to develop software that can be upgraded seamlessly without losing or change any data. For example, the photo is correct, once you become familiar with it. However, personally, I like the way events were created in iPhoto, but also how you can scrub through each event, just sweep a finger of each event. Now in the Photos, you need to scroll right rows and rows of pictures, which seems to be a step backward when it comes down to the speed and convenience. I finally have the time to go back to my hobby of video editing and I was about to buy an iMac or a Macbook Pro. What is the best choice for video and photo editing, or should I be looking back to Adobe?

You can go to Phase One's Capture One.

  • AT3-600-UR33 Acer will work GoPro Studio 2.0 video editing software?

I am considering the AT3-600-UR33, which is available on the emachinesredeem site. Can someone tell me if this PC will allow me to start the video editing software provided by GoPro for their cameras? The minimum requirements that they list on their website are CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo; Graphics card supporting OpenGL 1.2 or higher; 4 GB RAM or more; Internal drive hard disk 5400 RPM; Quick Time 7.6 or higher. Here is the website http://gopro.com/support/articles/what-are-the-minimum-system-requirements-for-gopro-studio

    Thank you for your help

    Hi LMinCT

The Dual core Celeron is not as good as the chip Core 2 Duo - everything will be OK.

In theory - the answer is "maybe", but this isn't the ideal machine for your software, unless you can find another sequel that will work with the Celeron to video editing.

The machine will run slowly, while using, even stop if HD video processing, and that it provides will allow you to install it in the first place.

The AT3-600-UR33 is not a bad machine, it's just for everyday use.

  • What is the best laptop for video editing that task my money?

    Hello

I have Lenovo laptop, I used it for 5 years, until now, I see that it is not good enough to make the work of video editing. So now I think to buy a new laptop for this case, but I am not confident about my knowledge on the area of the laptop. Everyone here knows or has a good knowledge on laptop, please give me a serious opinion, thank you.

    Hi jespong,

    Thanks for posting.

The first starting point would be to look at the minimum specifications required by the video editing program, and then start looking for laptops with these specifications. Then look for those that have the best specifications requested by the program and settle for something in between.

According to your budget, it would be better to buy something that has more than request the program you always want to have the best.

    Kind regards

    Robert

  • Photo and video editing

I'm overdue for a new machine, after reviewing other sites that sell products, Dell and Dell I'm a little busy. I want to get a new machine but I have a cap of $900 on my budget, I'm looking at a 12 or 16 GB of ram, a 500 GB hard drive - 1 t, the possibility to connect two monitors and a decent graphics/video card.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi earthshaker,.

    Thanks for posting.

It's great that you are looking for a new computer for your photo and video editing needs. Unfortunately your budget ceiling doesn't really lend itself to a machine that will produce the kind of results you can for your customers.

As a suggestion, the accuracy or Alienware computers would be excellent for this type of work, however in light of what you can afford, Latitude and OptiPlex computers would be a good alternative to lower end.

Inspiron is good, but may not meet the specifications required by most video editing software and photo.

Make sure that you check them specifications required by the programs you use before you make a purchase that work well and produce the results you and your customers are looking for.

Maybe you could look for something in the Dell outlet that fits your budget or possibly put up a little more for something like my suggestions.

I hope this helps. Contact me privately if you need more help.

    Kind regards

    Robert

  • Upgrade XPS 8100 GPU for video editing? (of GTS 240-> GT 630 Kepler)

    I have older XPS 8100 with power supply 350 W, PCIe v2.

It comes with Nvidia GTS 240

    • Hearts CUDA 112
    • 1 GB 128- bit memory DDR3 memory

Is it wise to update to GT 630 Kepler who has more CUDA cores and memory bigger BUT less bandwidth! Note There are several flavors of the GT 630 map. The Kepler there CUDA more but less bandwidth. It also uses an architecture of nm 28 (?) so it consumes less energy...

    • 384 CUDA cores
    • 2 GB memory 64- bit memory DDR3

I'm just trying to give my older office a little boost so I can keep it a little longer. Just to get into video editing (videos of simple talking heads HD of Canon DSLR mainly for the YouTube/web but can experiment a bit with After Effect too)

    Other improvements, I foresee:

    • Replace the main (and only) with a SSD for the OS
    • Add controller SATA III Housing Board (motherboard currently supports only SATA II)
    • Add 1 or 2 7200 TPM (WD Caviar Black or Seagate Barracuda SATA III), although thought rather than the RAID 0 for speed I was going to do separate so I can use different drives for data, source on one and previews, cache files, etc. on the other hand
    • Add 3 USB so that I can also external platforms if needed is, like maybe keep my second internal drive and the third disk external but connected via eSATA III or USB 3

Given the hassle and expenses, I have no intend to upgrade the i5 processor (1st generation I think) or the power supply. Is the system otherwise "balanced" for what I'll use to?

The 630 GT would be a downgrade from the GTS 240. I would look at the GTX 650 for an upgrade. A GT 640 would also be an upgrade at the best prices.
