    Help.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

What you need to do is to find, on your PC, the IPD file created when you backed up. Search your entire hard drive *. IPD. Then use this file as the source of a restoration of your new BB (choose ONE of these KB, depending on the version of the RIM Desktop software you have already installed on your PC):

Can someone tell me how to get videos on my 8100 Pearl. Thanks in advance!

In addition, you will want to convert the video file to be optimized for a display on the BlackBerry.

You can consider using the Media Manager software to do this, or at least another conversion software:

    http://www.AOne-soft.com/mobile_3gp_video_converter.htm

    Then,

    1. go to Options > Media Card

(some themes or BlackBerrys can call this ' settings > Media Card ")

    2. check the following parameters (if they are that way, then changes according to the following:)

    (a) media card Support: on

[b] mass storage Mode Support: on

    (c) auto Enable mass storage: Yes

    3. save the settings and exit

    Then,

    1. ensure that the Manager is not open

2 connect the unit to the PC using the usb cable

    3. a box pop up opens, select open folder to view files using Windows Explorer

4 minimize this window (in the upper right, click on the - )

    5. open another instance of Windows Explorer

    (a) Start Menu > Windows Explorer

    6. go to the folder where the files you want to transfer

    7. the right of the mouse click on the file and select copy

    8. open the minimized window (in step 4 above)

    9. navigate to the folder where you want to save the file

    10. right mouse click on and select Paste

    11. the file is now on the microSD card

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can that I transfer my on my Backberry Pearl .m4a files?

I'm about to get a Blackberry Pearl, but want to know how to transfer all the songs I bought from itunes on the phone. Y at - it software? I read that you can activate the card to support mass storage and it allows you to transfer files from the mac, but I've read anything about the file transfer native itunes from Mac to Blackberry.

Mass storage mode is an option for you at this stage.

There is a set of software (BlackBerry Media Sync), but only on computers now. The page shows a version Mac is in development, so

  • BES email new blackBerry Smartphones, how can I transfer bookmarks from the browser?

I have a new email from BES so I had to wipe my blackberry account. How can I transfer my favorites from my old BES email browser?

I backed up my blackberry before wiping and I tried to restore only the browser bookmarks using the peripheral device select restore data and settings, but the bookmarks do not return.

Does anyone have any suggestions on that?

Thanks in advance for any help that anyone can provide.

Given that you have reactivated the BES. Fact you restore the backup first and then turn on the BES. If you have completed what you can has erased some of the infromation on the BES activation.

    Hello

What version of OS device do you have?

    options/topic/looks like 4.x.x.xxx.

You shouldn't put the documents on you're under support media card, go under documents.

  • BlackBerry smartphones, how can I transfer photos from the map SD card in my Panasonic camera in my Blackberry "BOLD"?

I will visit China this summer to see the solar eclipse on July 22, take pictures with a Pansonic Lumix camera. It uses a standard SD memory card.

I want to transfer pictures to my Blackberry 9000 "BOLD", so I can then upload them on a blog. I won't have a computer with me. Is it possible to get a SD card reader which can connect to the USB in the Blackberry and transfer files directly in the Blackberry?

If not, is there a bluetooth solution?

Note that I tried to take the microphone out of my Blackberry SDHD card, put in an adapter and insert this in my Panasonic camera, hoping that I could store my photos directly on the micro SDHD card. It does not work. The camera is complaining with a memory card error (probably due to incompatibility between the standard SD and SDHD, I guess).

    Any ideas?

Forget the above post, I just had a cup of coffee and then realized:

    1. I think the Blackberry "BOLD" can use ordinary micro sd (and not sdhc) cards.  They come in 1 GB and 2 GB sizes with adapters for $ 5 to $ 10.

2 use a regular mic with its adapter sd card in your camera.  When you want to send photos, take the adapter to the camera, take the micro sd adapter and pop card in your phone.

I'm sure that this information is displayed no doubt somewhere in these forums, but Ive tried different 5-6 research and can't find what I need to know, so thought I would try a post.

I want only to transfer some of the contacts in my address book Outlook 2007 on my BB and keep these contacts through each synchronization (don't want to sync and have all appear).  Can someone tell me how to proceed?

Assistance or management, you can give me is appreciated! Thank you!

In Outlook, create a new folder in your contacts, name it anything you want and MOVE in this folder of contacts from Outlook, you do not want to synchronize to the BlackBerry.
