• Video of Smartphones blackBerry will not play since the 4.5 upgrade?

  I upgraded to 4.5 a few weeks ago (with T-Mobile 8320 curve) and all of the videos that I try to put on my phone now in WMV, AVI, format etc. will not play.  Either I get a red error box saying the file is incompatible or she acts like she is going to play, but he won't play.  I've never had to convert WMV before playing on the previous operating system for the phone (4.2.2), they always played!  So I tried converting them with the Media Manager, some won't still play, and those who have a black border around the video where almost 1/4 of the screen is blank with no video (and Yes, I have 'full screen' selected).

  What is the problem with the video and 4.5?  What file formats does work now?  I don't understand why they took the opportunity to read these formats.  Always be a problem with everything these days...

  I tried AkmeFFmpeg and it worked like a charm... full screen and everything!  Very strange... I tell you it's the OS!  I've never used this program before when I got 4.2.2 and I never had problems.  But whatever, problem solved now.

  I think you can try two things: the soft reboot, and if it does not, the hard reboot. Don't worry, you can not lose data with these two reboots.

  Soft reboot:
  1) struck the following three keys at the same time:
  -Alt
  -Left shift
  -Remove
  (2) wait 2 minutes for the Blackberry to wake up.

  Hard reboot:
  (1) your BlackBerry smart phone is on
  (2) remove the battery and wait a minute
  (3) replace the battery
  (4) wait 5 minutes for the device to wake up.

  Please tell us if it works for you.

• BlackBerry Smartphones BlackBerry is not play sounds?

  Hi, I got my BlackBerry Curve 8520 for awhile, and I had no problems with it until today. I would like to change my 'Normal' sound profile and it would not play the sound whenever I received a message. I went in edit profiles > Normal > Messages > SMS > and I would go all the way down and press Try It, but the sound would not play. Please help me! Thank you!

  I posted this problem while back. But here it is again. I downloaded videos to my Storm with no problems, (figured out how to do it properly). Here are some videos of go media, I have to activate "Quickpull" to make videos to come back, sometimes twice. I recently "formatted" media card computer vista and my Storm (with audio and video problems endangered, not appearing is not in the multimedia card) thought 'cure' problem. Anyone else have problems like mine? Read other messages to similar problems, but I do not know the answer. Problem with the storm?

  @KingCobra: in my opinion, it is a corruption of index.
  the media application uses Indexing (stored on tiny files in each folder that contains a media file) to improve the user experience. Sometimes they get damaged. A violent solution is to remove the indexing file and re-create the media application to have.

  --> use the USB and from Windows Explorer, navigate to your press card folders. and show the hidden files & system.
  Delete all files named BBThumbs.dat (there is at least one in each case).

  -->, unplug your device, and then open the media application. Indexing should then start (may take a few hours for people who have thousands of mp3). If your OS is 4.5 or a later version, you have a progressbar (white/blue) at the bottom of the screen.

  Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  Since I upgraded my Alltel 8130 OS 4.5 I can't play videos. I have read other messages indicating youtube and similar videos play more but mine no longer play videos taken with my phone. I get a message error "this video is not supported format. How a video made by my BB cannot System1? If anyone has experienced this problem or may know a solution outside decommissioning? I really want to get down and lose my capibilities MMS again.

  The .rem extension indicates that you are using the file encryption.

  Unless you have sensitive data on your device there should be no need to

  encryption. Indeed if you use a content protection, your device will be

  much slower.

  Go to options, multimedia card and check the encryption option mode. It must be set

  votes to zero. Also check under General options, security, the protection of the content.

  It must be set to off.

• Safari 9.0.3 Youtube is no longer play videos!

  When I launch the Youtube app I can no longer play videos since I upgraded to Safari 9.0.3. I even had to force quit safari, or even my mac would not closed!

  I tried the following:

  1. Plist deleted
  2. delete all my cookies
  3. uncontrolled extensions "for which I don't have any"

  That's all so far. A solution would be most appreciated

  I hope this will help others I solved my problem.

  1. Go to safari/preferences/security/plug-in Settings
  2. In my case, I had three plugins it I had installed I wanted to delete. You can't remove them from the configuration of the plugin.
  3. Two of them I removed by going directly to/Library/Internet Plug - Ins
  4. The last one I removed from Plug-Ins ~Library/Internet

  In my case, I removed one at a time and relaunched safari every time. In my case it was the third sent me problems

  Since yesterday, my Blackberry "BOLD" started playing music to lift itself.  The only way I can get it to stop is to make a phone call.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to do to stop this?
