  You most likely need a Codec package for your video player. The codecare like translators who take the image video format and encode or decode for display in your favorite media player. I would recommend that you download and install the K-Lite Codec pack from here.

  Here is an article on the restore procedure: http://www.vista4beginners.com/How-to-restore-files to make sure you do this right.  It's a selective restore of a full or selective backup (not a full restore from a full backup) - but since you did a full backup, it matches your process more closely than would a full restore.

  This is a GREAT article on the backup and restore processes in Vista http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/2007.09.backup.aspx , but he won't go into detail about the restoration process - considering almost as easy, of course.  But it teaches you a lot about what is possible and how to do it.

  Yet once I try to get the Premiere Elements running on my system from Windows 8, I came across a missing codec.

  Bottom line... If you want to import audio file copied only for playback in a music file, you use the copy of the music file itself in the copied folder and not its standardized audio files (cfa and pek) which the pek file belongs (involved in the waveform of project'sTimeline). You do not use an audio file of reading cfa and/or pek.

  What you wrote was told that you are trying to play an autonomous compliant audio file that relates to audio replacement of main menu in a disc menu. Audio replacement has 3 possible associated files, the audio file itself (active project, mp3, wav), consistent audio all of the cfa and pek (Cache Media files folder) files. The pek file is linked to the waveform that you see in the display style of the audio track that shows the waveform of the audio in the project.

  If you have imported audio for the project timeline and audio replacement in the disc menu, then in the copied folder you should expect to find

  IN EACH CASE 3 files - the music file itself as well as complied with him audio files (cfa and pek).

  If you delete the file .pek of the copied folder, the project.prel that you open from there will have audio problems (no audio track display waveform and)

  You won't find in programs because it is not a. It is a browser plugin and will appear in Firefox Add-ons (or Plugins for IE)

  You can download the Windows Flash Player 11.9 projector which is a stand-alone player, but it lacks most of the controls as videos have in a web browser.

  You can find the FLV files play MUCH better if you use VLC Media Player.

  I used it for FLV, MP4, MPEG, MOV, WMV and AVI playback for years.

  Agree with Mittim12...   Works either way, but we have our images of parent is joined to the domain before.  This help us to do things that is install OK on the image for domain use for users and allows us to do some more test before we deployment.
