Videos of Blu - ray and DLNA mkv

I have a Sony Blu - ray player and a Sony TV.  I put some video files on my laptop and set up so that I can watch videos on my tv and bluray player.  Problem, seems, is that the player only shows the mpeg, mkv files not files.  Anyone know of a solution for this?

I check the Manual of the comic page 73 of the reader and it says that the system does not play the MKV files via the DLNA feature. You can also check on this link for File Formats supported for Blu - ray Compatible DLNA drives.

  • Creation of blu - ray and DVD standard of same video project - issue of menus

    Hello

I have a video project, I intend to distribute on blu - ray and standard DVD. I plan create all menus and buttons for the blu - ray disc first. Can I just reduce the menus and buttons in again when I go to create the DVD standard? Or better, I'll recreate the standard DVD menus in Photoshop? Someone else to create the menus same br and standard DVDs? Any tips? I'm using CS5. Thank you.

    Cheers, Steve

I would certainly agree with Jim's response above too.

The problem with trying to use the same image is not massively different resolution (1920 x 1080 from 720 x 480), but also the size of the pixels.

BD uses square pixels and what you design is what you get in the disc - DVD on the other hand uses non-square pixels and it can be a nightmare to design if you try at the scale of the images of high Resolutiom down to SD

The SPHL button are also different - BD requires a separate layer for each State of the button to coloiurs up to 256 while DVD gives you the complete package on 2 bits of an image indexed with a total of 3 corridors.

I would definitely say to create separate menus for each project.

  • Blu - ray and SACD

From this date (March 29, 2016), I see through research within this community and my own attempts, that the great Apple Drive efforts will not play even Blu - ray video/audio and SACD discs.  My Super ejected disk to format when I try to play them, but no message doesn't pop-up telling me what to do, especially if the pilots were available to read these types of discs.  The reason given in the most recent surveys here was that Apple has not allowed the technology to play one of these formats.  Is this still the case, or drivers have become available in recent years to play on the Super player I know?

    Thanks, Wade

Apple themselves do not always provide a solution to play Blu - Ray discs, they still include DVD player to play DVDs. There are some third-party programs but that will do it even if they are not 100% official Blu - Ray solutions. See the following topics.

    http://www.macblurayplayer.com/

    http://www.DVDFab.CN/Mac-Blu-ray-player.htm

    http://www.leawo.org/Blu-ray-player-Mac/

Note: Because that these solutions are "unofficial" in general, they have not the ability to display full and use the motion of the Blu - Ray disc menu and instead of this will simply play the main disk movie, second due the fact that Apple has not taken the trouble to add underlying OS x capabilities these programs are also not able to play the audio tracks of more high quality of discs Blu - Ray and either will play instead a track of lower quality or reduce a track of superior quality. (It still will be at least as good as a DVD disc audio.)

  • CS 6 (Mac) - do Blu Ray and DVD discs

I have projects where both a Blu Ray and DVD are necessary.  Is there a way to define the encoding of file DVD:

    (1) lower the Bitrate (still still believes a rate much higher than necessary; often exceeding the space on the DVD)

    (2) together 2 for MPEG video allow big screen (option shows black bands and confirms no widescreen)

Lately, I've been coding components DVD separately, but still requires a new chapter markers when replacing the video tracks.  So I will use again for DVD or separately with DVD Studio Pro.

    Thank you!

1 no problem at all to do this, simply stop using automatic transcoding settings & enter values manually.

2 - Make sure that the sequence is correctly interpreted as screen 16:9 instead of 4:3 full frame (click right/interpret the film or edit pictures)

For a Blu - ray player, I would recommend AVC (H.264) MPEG-2 - you'll get two times more content in the same space, it's a more efficient codec.

  • Workflow for creating a project that can be burned to Blu - ray and standard DVD?

    Hello

I have a project of 20 minutes and I create a unique simple menu with a 'play' button. I would like to create once and be able to burn a Blu - ray 1080 p as a standard DVD. Is this possible?

    Thank you

You may need to restore the original no first transcoded files.

By the way: what is your source material? Dynamic creation/AE links, an m4v?

When still transcode "now" for the DVD, it replaces the originals with the transcoded files.

When you click right/CtrlClick file from the Project menu, under the greyed "transcode now" you will find "restore original".

If you do this, you should be able to transcode for Blu - Ray.

I usually work the other way around, I do Blu - Ray first and then the DVD. Since I create all Menus in 1920 x 1080 and downward revision is better than scaling ;-)
    - and thank you for the training in English alongside.

So if you have your transcoding settings (menu project - files-law transcoding - settings / ctrl-click-) for both Blu - Ray and DVD set up and do not use transcoding "now" - have all and go to the menu to build immediately, you should be able to build both the Blu - Ray and DVD.

I am able to burn a DVD format, but when I select Blu - Ray (a resolution) I don't get "burners available. It is a video relatively short (15 minutes) so not too big. Cannot know what is the issue.  Can offer you any assistance?

  • Best options to Export of first CC at CS6 Encore for creating Blu - Ray and DVD discs?

    Howdy!

I have files AVCHD (MTS) of a marriage, I recorded a couple of years (Yes, it is really low on the priority list), I want to change to create DVDs and Blu - Ray discs.  I am aware that I need to make some significant cut to get everything that I consider important to even together double disc DVD and have a lot more leeway with the Blu - Ray.  If I do the editing in Premiere CS6, I can use Dynamic Link to import several chronologies in my project again and (of course) to develop a Menu that the user can use to choose what they want to see.  Then again you can do transcoding with the timelines to get the videos to put them on any disc format created by me (DVD or BD).  HOWEVER...

If I edit the videos with CC PP (2015), I have the relationship dynamic to again (gee, thanks, Adobe!) and to each of my deadlines export to a file, load these in CS6 again and again, let the transcode various chronologies as the best it can to fit the desired output average.

So the question in all of this - what is the 'best' format to export CC PP for later import Encore CS6?

I can't use the MPEG2-DVD or MPEG2 Blu - Ray, because it assumes that each video is to use all the space available on the disk (same problem with H.264 Blu - Ray)!

All right now, I am limited to Codecs and presets available in first/Media Encoder programs.

I you'd be grateful for ideas on what could be the best (closest lossless?) format to use for the export/import of SD or HD videos!

    Thanks in advance!  {I hope the question makes sense...}

If you do not want to use mpeg2-dvd or mpeg2-Bluray (I prefer BD H.264, this is a codec better) you can export to avi with codec lossless Lagarith as UT. Also, you can use these HD codec. But these files are huge.

Can stick to mpeg2-dvd and BD preset and use a bitrate calculator to get the best fit on the disc.

  • Drive Blu - ray and ZR24W - success anyone?

I tried to connect a blu - ray player to my monitor ZR24W via the DVI on the monitor. I tried the following:

-Panasonic DMP-BD60 and LG BD350 blu - ray players

-Using a HDMI cable to DVI

    -Use of HDMI/DVI via a HDMI-DVI adapter.

With all these ups I had zero luck and it just repeat input out of range change your settings at 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz. I tried every setting possible on two blu - ray players, but absolutely nothing works.

I wonder if anyone has actually never had any success with their blu - ray with the monitor ZR24W player. Looking at the Tech Specs there is nothing no indication that there is a problem. The DP and DVI inputs are both HDCP and blu - ray may be output at 1080, then, it is in the appearance of the screen.

It's really a doin' my head as there is no reason why it shouldn't work.

Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

That says HP Support all select and change a preset mode?

I didn't mention that. Basically, they're trying to get rid of me by saying that it is a problem of compatibility. Frankly, I am very disappointed by the level of customer service that HP give me on this issue. Initially, it was very good, that is a long time on tech support to try to understand what happened followed by an engineer coming around a replacement unit. Now, it just seems as if they want to get rid of me!

  • Blu - ray and the sound of my Dimension 9200 to the HDTV and receiver-best way surround?

    Hi people.
I have a Quad Core 9200 with exit DVI (7950 high-end graphics card). I think I have a burner or a blu - ray player to play HD content on my HD with 1080 p via HDMI (adapter) on my PC. I have a receiver sound srurround that can accept the audio standard on my PC (front, rear, center and sub).
What is the best way to address the issue?

    What Blu - ray player?
Sound card? Do I still need for 5.1?
What software to read the BLu - ray to my TV "seamless"? I don't want to see the borders of Windows Media Player by watching Blu - Ray movies.

  • Pioneer BLU - RAY and DVD discs not recognized by Windows 7

The discs were fine until I installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Before my hard drive crashed, I was using Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. The computer was built by a local store, so I don't know if they have done something special to get discs running, but readers are reported as compatible with Win 7.

    Readers are:

    DVD PIONEER DVR - 218L

My motherboard is ASUS P6TD Deluxe, BIOS 0106

I am very handicapped and rely heavily on my computer to work. I can't load my well-being critical software until I get these discs work, then I'll be very grateful for any help.

  • Windows DVD Maker can burn videos on Blu - Ray disks?

Creation of DVD Windows Help file really should indicate if she can do it or not.  And Yes, I have a Blu - Ray burner in case anyone is wondering.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Windows 7 has no native support, you won't be able to burn discs using Windows DVD Maker.
You need a writer application and third party Blue-Ray that will support it.

  • I am trying to burn a Blu - ray and am getting an error M25?

I compressed video in compressor in twice, both times by the author the DVD and I get an error from the M25.  I burned the second DVD of this show without any problem.  The first show keeps giving me the error of the M25.  Can someone tell me what this error message?

    Thank you

The most common workaround solution to this error is to build an image, then burn with an application not yet (ImgBurn for PC; Toast for Mac).

  • No longer autoplay video disks (DVD / Blu - Ray) (NOW RESOLVED)

I use windows 7 Professional (x 64) and have this annoying bug.

As of today, when I insert a Blu - Ray or DVD video disc, I get this error:

"Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file.  May not permissions to access you the item. »

I am the administrator of my PC and there is NO secondary accounts.  Guest account is disabled.

There should be NO problem with permissions as I have full control of all my records and files.

This only happens with video discs and not to other disks.  I tried Google, but have found no chance whatsoever.

I can still access the files via windows Explorer, so I don't have access to the disk.  So why make this error instead of automatic reading I want to use.  When I insert a video disc, I want it automatically run my program of DVD/Blu-Ray and not spit this error at me.

I had this problem last year and he only went after a reformat of my boot drive and a clean reinstall of windows.  I want do not undergo this nightmare again.

I have no fear to think, but I solved the problem myself seconds after this thread.  AutoPlay is borked and DVD and Blu - Ray discs have been set to open a program not belonging is not in movies.  I put the function Autoplay use Arcsoft TotalMedia 5 to open when you insert a movie DVD or Blu - Ray and all roses.  I will not close this thread in case other users with this issue of stüble on it and the solution works for them also that google gave no miracle for what actually solved this problem.

  • export parameter to make panasonic SC - x 920 video 1920 x 1080 p 60 fps blu - ray disc

I bought a camera panasonic SC - X 920 which pulls in 1920 x 1080 progressive 60 fps so I can make videos of 60 images/s to the internet and I know that you can get up to 30 p videos but what I read a real blu - ray disc doesn't support 60 fps are my project for my video setting (1920 x 1080 59,94 frames per second) progressive). The video plays well in my project, but I don't want to make the folder incorrectly waste blu - ray discs, and my intention is to import this export in yet to do a blu - ray disc. I first pro CS6 and I realize there is a tab that you can select to match the sequence parameter to export, should I use it and then import my video into still and let him face or is there a better setting? I know still takes forever to encode and would like to do the encoding first so this recall is not necessary to code. With my video should I select blu - ray h.264 preset and then make a video to 29.97 1920 x 1080 interlaced? Should I choose a higher or lower field to deinterlace? Or should I make a mpeg-2 blu - ray and all let be set automatically according to the parameters of the project? I don't know exactly how I should go to this progressive 60 fps video a 30 (29.97) fps video to make it compatible so that I can burn to blu - ray disc. Could someone help me please, my research has not turned up to definitive answers.

    None of your images is 1920 x 1080, but you can't put it on a BD - 60 p.

If you want to keep the 60 p you export to 720.

Here are the formats that still supports:

Still supported formats Blu - ray
