Videos on Facebook not be loading not because I switched to Firefox. Can correct?
There is a video on my Facebook timeline which will still play. It's a YouTube who was transferred in 2009. Everything else is represented in the attached two screenshots. I just switched to Firefox yesterday, 09/05/15, so it is current. I'm going back to IE and it all happens, as usual. I have hardware acceleration not clicked without effect. Java enabled is set to True. So far, this is my only problem, but it's a biggy. Can you help me?
And now don't be loading not the images, I'm going to show you. 15 minutes should be long enough for 100 KB, right? Still nothing. I'll try in the words, with which I'm not very good.
Videos, I shared on my calendar, when you click on it, just go black with this message, "" unavailable video: we're having difficulties playing this video. "" Videos I scroll up on my news feed just the "pulsed" bars sequential show, as it is trying to load, and that's all he's ever done. Previously, with IE, this would simply start playing, or respond to a click.
It is now more than 20 minutes, so I guess that the images do not download. I hope you can do something that I wrote.
Probably, you need the Flash Player for Firefox plugin. Get it here.

Videos of Facebook does not, Firefox 31 or 32
31 FF videos and Facebook had never played, so upgraded to 32 without change. After the update 32, Adobe Flash 15 current, cookies and cleaned cache, hardware acceleration disabled on the TOOLS, SETTINGS of FLASH and CONTROL PANEL and restarted with disabled modules - still no luck. It wasn't a problem with FF 28 nor currently a problem with Google Chrome.
Videos play on YouTube and other sites.
FLASH - SOLUTIONS "GLOBAL STORAGE SETTINGS".
I went to the control panel of the Flash site. It is considerably larger than the one that pulls up with a 'right click' the mouse on the video.
[[Flash panel |]] http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager02.html]]I saved it as a bookmark to find my way back if necessary
I have "loosened upwards' a couple of permission settings and now it works fine.
One who actually work or not is the second folder, settings global storage and ticked the box - 'allow content to store data on your third-party computer Flash." The scroll bar is always set to 0.
I tried this on the limited context (right-click on the vidoe) LOCAL standard control earlier and no luck. There is nothing on the OVERALL setting Panel for it.
All settings are back to the original except for the one above on the second folder and it works fine. The second box, store common Flash components, has already been verified.
The video and audio quality is just as good as my local drive.
This must have happened with the last update.

I am unable to play the video file and get the error "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because the required video codec is not installed on your computer."
Can someone help me how to solve this problem. Thank youI am unable to play the video file and get the error "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because the required video codec is not installed on your computer."
Can someone help me how to solve this problem. Thank youMay be that the video file format is not compatible with Windows Media Player.
Options: -.
1] download and install VLC Player. It's free and supports file formats more than WMP.
2] download and install the codecs
Personally, I prefer VLC Player-if you have that then not need to download and install the codec of any third party.

I currently have Windows 8. However, when I try to play a seminar online on the internet, I get the following message is displayed:
Windows Media Player can not play the file because the required video codec is not installed on your computer.

Please and thank you!
Hello
Welcome to the Microsoft Community forums.
I understand that you are not able to play a Webinar on the windows computer using Windows Media Player 8.
I would be grateful if you can provide us with the following information to help us better understand the issue.
1 you get an error code or the name of the codec to install?
2. are you able to play other files with Windows media player?
3. What are the file format of the multimedia files that you are not able to play using Windows media player?
4. are you referring to the video file saved using Webinar?
This problem is caused if the file format is not supported by windows media player.
Codec compresses or decompresses media files. Windows media player uses codecs to play and create media files.
See the link below for the types of files supported by windows media player.
https://support.Microsoft.com/kb/316992?WA=wsignin1.0
You can also refer to a link to find out what codecs are installed on your computer.
Additional information:
See the link below if you receive a playback audio codec error but video does not play when you play files multimedia in Windows Media player 11, as shown in the link also applies to Windows Media player 12.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, we will be happy to help you.

Videos YouTube has of worked before installing Adobe Flash Player. Once installed the screen flickers, after a second, rewind at the start, then plays normally. This only happens when I use Internet Explorer. I reinstalled Mozilla Firefox and Adobe Flash Player several times but nothing seems to work. Decommissioning of Adobe Flash Player does not work either. It seems that Firefox is the problem, but I'm not completely sure.
You can check for problems with the latest version of the Flash plugin and try these:
- disable an eventual extension of the browser for Firefox Plugin RealPlayer Record and if installed RealPlayer update
- disable the safe_mode in Flash 11.3 and later versions
- turn off hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
-
It recently advised me to switch to Firefox.

Windows 7 and WMP 12 don't play many types of files in the box, you need additional configuration. :(
Attention if you got this message to a folder ".wmv", which should impose no extra codec (coder-decoder), this type of codec will probably install viruses on your computer. You can see the file extension in Windows Explorer or in the name of the file if you have configured via the "Tools |" Folder options | View menu"to do so, or in the Details view, the 'Type' column should display something like"File WMV", or in this case,"the Windows Media audio/video file.
If it's a real file, for example a Flash (".flv"), ".mkv" file or a DVD Blu - Ray, you have to play on a third party such as VLC Player, or download the appropriate codec. There are a bunch of them packed in a secure facility on shark007 (dot) net and the Blu - Ray, probably your computer comes with a DVD playing software that should do the trick, although the codec that comes with it is not compatible with WMP.

My Vista 64-bit is down packages. Load slowly and video streaming does not work.
My Vista Home Premium 64-bit, is dropping packets. It load slowly and streaming video doesn't work well at all. I changed the modem DSL/wireless 3 times now. The problem persists. I am told that this may be the result of the execution of Windows Vista. It loses about 31% of the packets of information that are sent to, as determined by a test via my DSL server. Is there a fix or I just need to upgrade to Windows 7?
Help, JMick-loreI have the same exact problems with vista. I tried modems so switching. I can't listen to anywhere on the computer including windows media player. Just restored my pc to the factory and the problem is still there. Don't know what to do.
