• When I use the figure and figure legend my images disappear in the view Design of DW. I'm doing something wrong?

  With a bit of fiddling, I figured out how to make this work so that it appears in a browser (Safari) (I'm really not that familiar with html code).  Anyway, I like what I'm saying, but there is none in the design view of Dreamweaver(DW CS3) image in the image area, just the languge imgsource text and alt appears. Nor the caption text appears in design mode.

  I have a large absolute positioning DIV tag in most of my pages, the content of the entire page is practically inside.
  DW CS3 design mode very often (maybe 50% of the time) if I click inside to change text, DW selects the entire div. The cursor becomes a cross with arrows, the DIV border becomes outlined with a thick blue line, and I can't change the text, no matter how many times I click. If I move the mouse with the left button, sets in motion the DIV and modifies the .css file, where the position is defined. DIV cannot be deselected with escape, left or right click.
  The only way out of this is to click somewhere in the mode code, then return to the design view where we hope the text can be changed. Sometimes, I have to repeat this step twice or even 3 times, it is extremely boring and tedious.
  
  Is there a solution?
  You want to disable the selection of containers in design mode, or at least a quick way to deselect the current selection?
  
  This problem does not appear in DW8 when you change the same files.

  Another solution is to create an external stylesheet with this rule:

  * {overflow: visible! important ;}}

  Then apply the style sheet in a design-TIME Style sheet. This
  effectively eliminates the property overflow from anywhere in your page
  in DW, but not in browsers.

• Dreamweaver CC - no view 'Design', prompt always "Save".

  Hi all

  I found several people, which implies a question "Dreamweaver CC 2015 always ask me to save. It's the 'Save' prompt that occurs whenever a code change is made then clicking away from Dreamweaver, or the "live" view is clicked. "."

  Clearly, the solution for this is to switch to Design view (rather than "under tension" view), but it doesn't seem to be a view of 'Design' 2015.2 CC (on Mac El Capitan).

  Is there a way to get around this? I am pleased to be invited to register by clicking on the 'Live' display window, but not when you click away from Dreamweaver. I think it is unnecessary.

  Oddly enough, when you change the code in my HTML page, clicking on a file linked at the top of Dreamweaver (for example my css page) and THEN clicking on the "live" I'm not prompted to save the HTML page, or code files that have been changed.

  The 'save' command prompt occur only when you use such as PHP and when server-side code in Live view mode.

  The only time where the Design mode is not available is when you use checkerboard to fluid. GFL is no longer supported, and I advise you to find another framework like Bootstrap.

  If you want to persist with the FGL then take a look on Re: is it possible to display the design view in the fluid grid pages?

• Flex Builder 3 view design does not

  For some reason, the design view has stopped working. I tried to uninstall and reinstall twice with no chance to restore. All I see is a blank page when switching from the Source in Design view. Source mode works very well.

  Realize this thread is a little outdated today, but I had a similar problem and I think I solved it by reinstalling my debug version of Flash player. In fact, I went down from 11.1 to 10.3 on an Intel Mac. The problem is fixed would always have a weird conincidence... these things have happened before.

• View Design view library items

  When working on library items in Dreamweaver is possible to connect temporarily for CSS files, they will be eventually connected to when they are placed on the home page.

  When I'm working on a library item in Dreamweaver there any CSS style because it is not attached to a style sheet.

  What I want to do is view library items in Dreamweaver design view and not have several links to the CSS file in the final document.

  Take a look at the function of design time style sheet (Subcommittee) in DW, that was created for this purpose.

  Subcommittee means you can tell DW to open an item from the library in Design view and look at with the style CSS applied as if the to the CSS file was present.

  If you get the best of both worlds:

  (1) display an item .lbi file entirely style library in Design view

  (2) no temporary tags (as a solution when editing), which must be deleted later

• SteelExternalAll skin is not available in the menu design CS3

  My client wants to SteelExternalAll under the skin for the swf. It is not in the menu customization of CS3. Is it possible to download it somewhere? Thank you!

  When I started looking for this skin in Flash (I have CS3, CS4 & CS5 installed), I was surprised, I couldn't find this skin. I remembered the name "steel" used, but looking at all the versions, the skins have all the 'skin' prefix.

  I found this web page, which is a simple Flash video tutorial. It has skin "SteelExternalAll" in one of his bins of the screen.

  I compared this to the skins that I see in Flash CS4, and corresponds to what is 'SkinUnderAllNoFullNoCaption '. This initially appers as a blue color and use the traditional gray color, which change to #7C7C7C.

• Cannot change mode Design (CS3)

  I was happy to work between code and design views and all of a sudden, whenever I click on a section in design mode, it highlights the div any top-level (< body > < div #container >) and I can not change.  I have, however, noted that the area 'out' of my page is hatched white.  My only solution is to make any changes in code view.

  Accidentally change a setting that I'm not aware of?  Does anyone else have this problem?

  I have a scenario as follows:

  the user can take their own devices to log on to the desktop view.

  different ground, it has an ip address different range. and there difference ip range for floor of difference.

  The question is

  1. can I use the ip address to monitor the user to open a session pool for the locations and different departments?

  2 and I can force users to change their office to see if they change location.

• Conversion in Design CS3 to CS5

  We have recently improved InDesign CS3 to CS5. We have a bunch of models created in CS3, but wanted to convert CS5. Is there a way to do it or we just save as in CS5?

  Opened in CS3, file > export... and choose Interchange Format (.inx) from the list.

  Copied the html code of the previous site in dreamweaver to edit... pharmacodependance1; nothing on the screen with the display mode of the designer.

  I use dreamweave 4 and used for more than 7 years.   I like it.

  Recently, I had to help a friend who grabbed a site of exisitng as the old Web site to quit smoking.   When I check the existing souce of the html file, it does not show in the view Design Show.   What could be the reason?   And how can I check the result of the source in Design view.

  If you have CS3, you can move to that as long as your computer supports.  But despite this, when you move with forward with dynamic data, even in CS5.5 you are going to need a test server.  Because even though new versions of DW have Live View, which uses the webkit engine to render the pages (Chrome, Safari, iOS, Android), there still not a processing engine to process dynamic code.  What you need are programs such as MAMP or WAMP for the php/mySQL environments, or a version of Windows Professional where you can install IIS for ASP/.NET.
